Fig and Walnut Kofta
Fig and walnut stuffed in paneer dumplings and served in aromatic sauce
Boneless chicken cooked dum style with aromatic spices with salad and raita
Layers of spiced potato, avocado and chutney laced puffed rice
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Usually, we have our go-to dishes we order every time. Last night, we decided to order dishes we'd never had before. We shared the Apricot Tikki as an appetizer. We also had the Specialty Naan with Applewood Smoked Bacon.
For our entrees, we had Lakhnavi Gosht Biryani (lamb, rice, yoghurt and spices) and Scallop and Shrimp Moilee (cooked in Kerela style mustard and coconut sauce). For dessert, we shared a Chocolate Rasmalai. We should have gotten an order of rice for the Moilee. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish.
We hope we get the same server next time we go. He was attentive, but not hovering and had a lovely sense of humor. We're anticipating finishing the leftovers for lunch today.
The people at Broadway Masala are always so friendly. We needed an adjustment to a reservation, and they were very accommodating. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food, as always at this place, it was outstanding.
It is always a wonderful dining experience at Broadway Marsala. They treat their customers as if they are the only ones there. We always seize the opportunity to take friends and family there. Our favorite restaurant hands down 😋
Great servers and managers! The food is delicious as well - avocado quinoa bhel, and eggplant vegetarian dishes are a must.
Excellent food. A little pricey. Could use some salad or vegetable as a side dish.
Great location, nice ambiance. Service was excellent. Had the Butter Chicken and garlic naan. Was very good. Will definitely be heading back.
Excellent service and food. Not too noisy.
Amazing Indian food and really nice staff really reccomend
Amazing food. One of a kind.
Had an excellent meal with professional and responsive service. The flavors were excellent
My daughter has nut allergy. We told the server/manager about this and he assured us that nothing that we ordered had nuts. However, soon after eating my daughter had an allergic reaction. The server / manager seemed very indifferent when I told him that my daughter had a reaction. Will not be going back there after this experience.
Two of our favorite dishes are butter chicken and lamb rogan josh. The sauces are savory and rich. The appetizer we had last night was puchka chaat, crisp shells and savory filling. The green chutney added some good spicing. Service is attentive. This restaurant is one of our favorites in Redwood City.
Broadway Masala has survived the pandemic and the food is as good as ever
It's been 2 years (Covid) since we dined at this excellent restaurant. Once the food came, we remembered it like it was just yesterday. All the dishes we had were tasty and cooked to perfection. We ate so much we didn't have room for dessert. We will be back!
It’s always a treat to go here. The food is delicious and the staff is so nice. We try to get something different every time We go and we’re never disappointed.
The Avocado and Quinoa bhel was innovative and really tasty, and the Malabar Chicken Curry was delicious - the chicken was perfectly tender and cooked just right!
I have been there twice and the food is consistently good. I am a vegetarian, so my rating is only for vegetarian dishes. Some of my friends who are meat eaters, and who tasted our vegetarian food expressed that vegetarian food was better than their meat dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food and service was excellent.
Lots of attention to detail and very polite staff. Value for money.
They could have done little better on the decor.
All of our dishes were delicious and the service was excellent.
We ate here last month and the food was much better. Tonight the chick was overcooked in both dishes. The whole wheat roti was dry and tough. The service was very good and we will try again.
I live in Fremont and we have indian restaurants everywhere but Broadway Masala tops the list. A bit more upscale than the usual with amazing food and great service. Perfect seasoning, fresh ingredients, generous portions - entrees easily shareable for two or three! I will go back.
Loved the first visit for lunch yesterday. Service was superb and appreciated recommendations on food. Parking is a bit difficult so next time I must give that into consideration. My friend and I have agreed that will be our regular meet for lunch venue. Highly recommend it.
Amazing food - not like traditional Indian.
Great place for Indian/Pakistani food. They have the main favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala and Curry. But I had a vegetarian dish called Choley Choley, which was really tasty. You wouldn't even know if there was meat in it because the Garbanzo beans give it that meaty feeling. And my wife and I always get the Gajar Halwa for dessert, which is sweet mashed carrots. Amazing!
I am always so impressed with Broadway Masala. I brought friends here for lunch today and they thought it was some of the best Indian food they have ever had. The service was impeccable.
Always excellent. Surprisingly busy and justifiably so.
We have been looking for a great Indian food restaurant, and we found it. Everything we ordered was amazing, will definitely be returning.
Food is outstanding. Highly recommend trying it out.
Wonderful, creative food. Loved it.
Excellent service! Food was interesting, well prepared with fresh ingredients, and delicious. Can’t wait to go back.
We just went out for a Saturday night dinner and had a wonderful time
food is alway delicious, always enjoy the lamb tacos!
Food was delicious! The best vegetable briyani I have ever tasted with fresh veg, moist and flavorful! The karahi paneer was exceptional!
We have been eating at Broadway Masala since well before its renovation. One of our favorite dishes is the Butter Chicken, so we usually made that one of the dishes we ordered. Last night, we decided to order dishes we'd never had before. We had the orange and beetroot salad with feta cheese, which also had crunchy pieces of apple. We also had the bacon-wrapped tandoori shrimp, fig and walnut kofta, malabar chicken and garlic and cilantro naan. For dessert, we had hula jamun, traditional Indian milk dumplings in honey syrup. All delicious and ample servings. We took home enough for dinner tonight of everything but the shrimp and dessert. Service was excellent. We'll be back.
We would have liked to go back this Tuesday when they will be contributing 50% of their take to Indian covid relief. Unfortunately, we have a meeting from 7 to 9. But maybe someone who reads this will decide to check out Broadway Masala on Tuesday, May 18th.
Mother’s day Meal . Very nice!
Polite, polished, attentive and helpful service. Food was flavorful and quantities were good. Very good experience.
We had an amazing experience at Broadway Masala! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back! Definitely recommend all the dishes we had! We had the bhel quinoa chaat, chicken biryani, butter chicken, and truffle oil chicken! Cannot wait to go there again!
I am getting used to go this place regularly and often. Dishes we do not get at other Indian restaurants. A bit of trek for me, but do not mind. Please keep up the good work.
They always offer delicious dishes!
