   I would give this place 3.5 stars. We ate there for dinner and for breakfast. Traditional breakfast like eggs, bacon, and potatoes were good but the french toast and pancakes were the worst I have had in years. Dinner overall was good. The brisket grilled cheese my wife had was amazing but the french dip I had was decent but far from amazing. Fries were good as well.

   The atmosphere was very nice and the food tasted great. However our waitress was a little rough around the edges and almost non existent. We started off with the stuffed shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp was brought to our table with no plates and silverware to eat it with. We waited almost 10 minutes and our waitress never came back with the plates and silverware. We unfortunately ended up eating the shrimp with our hands before it got too cold. A few minutes after we were done with the shrimp, our waitress came with our drinks and asked how was the appetizer. I told her it was good but did not like the fact that we had to eat it with our hands because we didn’t get any silverware, plates and napkins. We finished our drinks before our food came which happens and then asked for more drinks when our food came. We do not eat fast, but once again we finished our food before we saw our waitress with our 2nd drinks. We had to actually ask a different waitress for our drinks. Our waitress then came with our second drinks and the bill. It was not surprise why we barely saw our waitress, the tip was already included in the total for the bill. I do not mind that a tip is automatically included with our bill, but however it should not be at the expense of good service.

   Over all the experience was good but to our surprise, the menu we saw on line was not the menu that was offered to us when we went. They were using the "train menu" which, once explained to us, was understandable but still a disappointment. I'm glad I had made reservations because they were very busy but I was really happy that we were seated right away!

   Took the Inaugural Reading and Northern Railroad Excursion Train from Pittston to Jim Thorpe with 7 family members. Highly recommended. Not the family members but the train ride. Made lunch reservations at the Broadway Grill and Pub months in advance. Glad I did it. Jim Thorpe is a popular tourist town for good reasons. The Grill and Pub had the table ready and waiting. The service was excellent and food quite good. I highly recommend it. Would advise reservations in advance.

   We were staying at the hotel there, and it was easy to walk a few steps there. The breakfast was good, but not as hot as I expected.

    First time here. Came for our anniversary weekend trip. My wife and I were both very pleased with all aspects: food (the pot roast is excellent), service (waitress very attentive), and price. Would definitely come back.

    We stopped here before going to a concert at Penns Peak . This was the perfect place for dinner. Food was excellent, the staff was very friendly. Overall it was very good!

    Rough night at Broadway grille. Had to ask for utensils 3 times one of us never got their salad another had a very bland overcooked salmon dish. Been here b4 and liked their handheld but entrees seem to be tougher as they may not have "chef" talent in the kitchen.

    We eat twice for breakfast and once for happy hour. Breakfast was decent not great. Price was moderate. Happy hour was great. We had nachos with pulled pork. It was huge and very good. Draft beers were $2.

    Great breakfast! There is a variety of options to choose from. My husband and I both had the weekly specials… I had the caprese omelet with potatoes and toast. He had ricotta spinach on multigrain bread and 2 sunny side eggs. I couldn’t finish mine! I would recommend this place for breakfast!

    The service was not great. The waitress seemed put out at requests for things like honey for tea, etc. Breakfast was just ok. We thought about having dinner but music was way too loud to talk. Not a family place in the evening, more of a bar atmosphere with lots music and more people than there are tables.

    Menu choices were limited. My wife's Shepherds Pie was more mashed potatoes than meat. My salmon was very good. The layered cheesecake for dessert was good but very small for a $10 price point. Service was fine.

    We very much enjoyed eating at the Broadway Grill. There were four of us and everyone commended favorably on their lunch. Bacon chicken wraps were excellent .

    The wings and brie with fig were great! The crabcake was pretty unremarkable but good. Drinks were good, great variety at the bar. Service was good as well. Will be coming back in the fall for sure.

    Ate here twice while staying at The Inn at Jim Thorpe, and really enjoyed both meals (dinner & breakfast). Food was delicious, portions were generous, and service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend!

    We have eaten there before. The open concept dining room is great if the crowd is convivial but not so much if you just want to eat and go. Everyone is so nice, the food is good and plenty and its just a nice place to get your breakfast, a mimosa (Lots of varieties) or blood Mary and just good food made by people who love what they do .

    The restaurant was overbooked it seemed, and tried to seat my party of 7 in the basement (where no one else was seated and it was not set up as a restaurant). My boyfriend and I both ordered the same chicken sandwich - his was not cooked all the way and mine was just not good.

    We had a reservation for 7:30…got there on time and waited 15 minutes at the Hostess stand for someone to show up..once sat we waited another 10 minutes for our waitress. We ordered right away and oddly enough our food was delivered literally in 5 minutes…before we even got our drinks OR our appetizer that we ordered. Felt like we were being rushed out. It was our anniversary and we were looking forward to a nice dinner out. Not the case. We wanted the check after we finished eating as were were not going to order more drinks since we knew it would take forever…and our waitress was nowhere to be found for about 20/25 minutes. Hostess was not friendly either. We watched many people leave and not once did she thank them for coming or told them to come again or have a nice night. She ignored everyone and just seemed annoyed to be there. Overall horrible experience. Gave it another try for breakfast the next day as we were staying at The Inn and the service was just as bad. Seems to lack management or coordination. Won’t be going back.

    We had a wonderful lunch on Sunday afternoon. $5.00 Bloody Mary’s which were very good. Our bruschetta was awesome. I had a Greek salad with a crab cake. It was delicious. My husband had a short rib sandwich with fries which he really enjoyed. The only negative thing that I can say was that he ordered sweet potato fries and he was served regular fries. Our waitress was very attentive. Overall it was a very good experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

    Reservation time was not honored, had to wait 25 minutes. Table was visibly wet, like with small puddles. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Sandwich had clearly been sitting as bottom of roll was disengaging. Sweet potato fries were very undercooked. It was obvious they were wanting to use our table of 2 to add to a larger group that was waiting so we were rushed with constant interruptions to see if we wanted anything else. There are much nicer places to eat in Jim Thorpe- avoid this one.

    We made a reservation and had to wait for a period of time to be seated, when a couple in front of us who didn't have a reservation was seated almost immediately. Food was eh, service not so great, drinks were meh, overall, was ok, not great!

    We had dinner here befire a show at the opera house. The service was attentive and the food came out fast. The greek salad was delicious, the beef stew good, not great. The crab cake sandwich was large and tasty! We will come back again!

    We dined on chicken pot, pie, beef stew, fish, and chips, and French dip, all were very good. Kim, our server, was very attentive and nice. Nice ambience, in a historic old hotel. Short walk to the theater when we were done. Interesting drinks as well. Another plus is that you could get a reservation where other places were not accepting reservations.

    Food was excellent. Had breakfast there 2 days. The second day the service was a little slower but the server was very apologetic which goes a long way with us. We were in no rush so it was not a problem at all.

    Enjoyed our breakfast but dinner was a different story. Servers having loud conversations with each other across the dining room. Forgot our salads. Steak and burger were over cooked. Definitely need to step up their dinner game.

    We were the last reservation on Easter Sunday. Kenny was a good server: attentive, kind, and engaging. Wings were very good. Burgers pretty good too. Good beer selection.
