   My mom doesn’t like going anywhere and always has something negative to say about any restaurant we go to lol. However, she raved about Brix’s in Tualatin! Amazing service, good value, large portions, and not feeling bankrupt walking out. I will go here again and again!

   I have been to their other location and had a good experience. We won’t be back to the Tualatin location. The fish in the fish & tots was fishy and the fried chicken was just ok. Like actually kind of bland. Didn’t even know that was possible for fried chicken. The service was ok but not great. I had to ask the server who made each beer I was considering because when I asked what was on tap she just listed IPA, Pilsner, Lager without saying the brewery. You’re in the PNW… we care who made the beer here.

   My first time at Brix was pretty good. The food was tasty, the ambiance a bit loud, and the service a bit slow. I'd try it one more time, though, just to compare.

   We had the Turkey Bacon Sandwich, way too much turkey piled on the sandwich, very hard to eat. Had to pull out half of the turkey from the sandwich to be able to eat it. The tomato soup and halibut fish sandwich was very good, I would recommend those menu items. We ordered a pepperoni pizza to go and was not impressed, very little pepperoni for the price!

    They sat our group in the meeting room area. When we entered the music was playing, but they soon turned it way down which made the ability to discuss and visit wonderful! Their service was very friendly and professional, and always with a warm smile. Plus the food was excellent We look forward to meeting there again next month.

    I had asked for a table by the window in my reservation. The hostess seemed surprised we were there and we got a small table for the five of us. It didn’t seem they were well staffed. The staff didn’t have time to linger at the tables. Food was good. We all liked the bacon Mac and cheese.

    Everything was A+. We arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation and only waited 5 minutes to get the window seat to watch the ducks on the pond as we requested. The brunch selection is really good. We enjoyed three different types of omelets and chicken& waffles. The bloody Mary’s had just the right amount of spice with an impressive garnish. The coffee was top notch. Service was perfectly professional and courteous. We will enjoy returning for more great experiences.

    A bit noisy, but the food was delicious - I had a hamburger, as did a friend. Have also been there for Happy Hour and that was also great. Had Calamari and Fondue to share. If you want intimate conversation this is probably not the place to go.

    Went for brunch. Menu is limited and uninspired. When dishes like Eggs Benedict try to be different (all 4 were served on a slab of cornmeal) they should just leave well enough alone. Waitress was very pleasant but had to go to 3 places to get coffee, cream and sugar. She explained because it took longer than you would expect. Explanation? Inefficient layout. They do much better with Happy Hour. After all, it’s a tavern.

    Second time coming for weekend brunch. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. They were busy, and service was still great. Fresh donuts brought to the table to nosh on. Bottomless bubbles (mimosas) were plentiful for $11. Eggs Benedict was unique, served on a corn cake. Chicken and waffles was good - cornmeal breading on the chicken was different.

    I just discovered Brix Tualatin. I've been to the one in the Pearl many times. The food and service were great. So happy to have one closer to me. I'll definitely be back! It was my friends' first time at a Brix Tavern. They loved it too!

    We made a reservation far in advance. When we arrived we were taken part about 10 lovely tables to a back room with no windows, to a table directly in front of a projection screen. Our table was so close to that screen we were blocking it and could touch it. The hostess seemed surprised and annoyed we didn't want to sit there. We ended up sitting at a high-top table in the bar, which was fine, just generally didn't feel well taken care of. Our waitress was wonderful however, and the happy hour food was good. Ultimately we walked away happy.

    Brix did an awesome job accommodating my wife’s numerous allergies. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and positive. The food was very good. Huge menu with lots of choices.

    Horrific service, for some reason they took a reservation within a half hour of the restaurant closing. The entire evening was rushed, as soon as we sat down they wanted our order. We then received our entrees barely 3-4 minutes later, they seemed shell shocked when we asked if we were getting our starters & salads. Once we did finally get our salads, my Caesar salad was absent of Caesar dressing. They then returned the entrees to the pass where it waited until we finished our starters. We then we’re instructed that the dessert bar would be closing & we should go get some dessert & put it in to go containers which added to the ambiance of being moved along like cattle. To sum it all up we finally got our entrees that had been sitting up on the pass for the last 20 minutes & the prime rib was somehow raw after been cooked up a heat lamp for 20 minutes. The mashed potatoes we cold & inedible, my partner pasta was dry & incredibly under seasoned. I was incredibly disappointed to have a such a beautiful night with my girlfriend just ruined. I have never written a negative review in my life & debated even writing this but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’m sure it’s a nice restaurant because numerous of our friends told us to go but with the experience we had I would never set foot back in this restaurant after the horrific dinner we had.

    This was a pleasant dining experience. We went out for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. I had not been to Brix South in Tualatin since they took over from the old Haydens Grill, and wanted to try it. They were busy, but not crowded, and we were seated immediately. Our server, Angela, was at the table shortly to take our drink orders, and a bit later for our brunch orders. Laurie had a delicious mushroom omelette, with the mushrooms cooked perfectly, the onions lightly caramelized, and the Brie cheese delicious. I had the huge waffle with eggs over easy, done perfectly, and sausage. Laurie’s blackberry lemonade was tasty and unique. I had coffee, which seemed to be well-brewed regular (perhaps Peerless?) coffee. Angela came around afterwards, and noticed that we had not had doughnuts. She brought us a plate with two caked doughnuts, steaming hot and topped with blueberry compote! Brunch dessert!
