Went on a Monday for lunch in December and their wait staff wasn’t very prompt. Food was fine. My truffle fries weren’t very hot and one of them was very undercooked (like just eating a raw potato).
Everything was great except the “Bloody Mary”. The water had more spice and flavor.
Delicious comfort food with a twist. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful outside space.
Such good food! Great wait staff. Can’t wait to go back.
Lovely lunch with my gals !
Food an service were excellent. Black truffle risotto was delicious an serving was generous. Only downside is like ALL restaurants in wine country is the mark up for wine is crazy. Plus the pours aren't normally very generous. But I will definitely return.
The setting is beautiful and worth the trip just for that. we were a party of six and they sat us in the back by the window- which would have been perfect except we were under the music speakers. we couldn't hear ourselves talk. we asked them to turn the music down and i think that they turned it down a little but it was still hard to talk across the table. the food was delicious.
Great food, service, portions and price. My only somewhat negative comment would be that the music could stand to be lowered a bit.
Great consistent Napa farm to table restaurant. May be the only Sunday Brunch Buffet style restaurant in Napa County. Food is good for a Sunday Buffet. They have spectacular gardens which they use to cook from. Great Decor and very good service. The server was terrific and always there when we needed anything. Plenty of parking
Gave us the worst table in the restaurant and it felt like I was being interrogated due the spotlights all over the restaurant. Really need to work on lighting and ambiance.
It was a rough beginning. We had reservations at 5:30 and arrived at 5:23. I know the exact time because the hostess said we cannot seat you until 5:30 your reservation time. The restaurant was virtually empty and I thought this was quite bazaar. She offered no explanation as to why (i.e.; don't serve until 5:30, table not ready, just we must wait until 5:30). She was not welcoming but rather this is the way it is and if you don't like it, there is the door.
Fortunately we stayed and had a delightful meal. The wait staff was excellent and the food was superb. Overall this was very enjoyable. Only recommendation would be to change the person at the front of the restaurant who sets the tone for the customer.
So disappointing! The best was the service from Maria—she was terrific. But the food was average - salads were very good, but entrees, not great. Although the flatbread was quite good, the swordfish was not. It was spiced with some seasoning that was not listed on the menu and really unappealing to the two of us that ordered it. And the pasta dish was just odd. The desserts were okay, not great. The worst was the restaurant was almost deserted! And with all the empty tables they seated us near a door and everytime workers came in and out, we got a blast of cold air. Very disappointing.
Brix was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We had a fabulous meal - the food was outstanding (I had swordfish, my husband had the scallops). The wine list was great and the service was perfect. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and beautiful. Brix is a special place. Highly recommend.
One of the best brunches I have had in a VERY long time! You can't go wrong going to Brix!
Made reservations for Sunday brunch. I was seated right now. Lots of food selection and attentive service. Definitely worth it if you are in the Napa area.
Service was extremely slow. Our drink order didn’t get taken for 15 minutes. Had to request bread THREES times
Food uninspiring, ambience ok. Wine list had very few bottles under $100. Wouldn’t rush back.
Wonderful location and food with a great wine list.
The food and service were not of as high a caliber as when we dined there the first time last July. The menu items were good but not remarkable. The wine by glass selection was not very satisfying.
As always, fabulous! Great ribs, scallops, risotto, steak and dessert to die for. Great acoustics, so we could all converse. Love this place!
Food was dreadful! Salmon was terrible and short ribs were so dry as to be inedible. We have had nice lunches at Brix in the past, but this dinner was awful.
Thanksgiving dinner with family was delicious, nice ambiance and good service.
We were there for a Thanksgiving dinner and couldn’t have been happier. Though pricey, as most Napa Valley restaurants are, it was a delicious meal with wine pairing and a special evening. Bravo!
Amazing Thanksgiving dinner. One of the best ever!
Outstanding. The Thanksgiving menu was nicely done. We will be back the next time we visit the valley.
Went in last minute on Thanksgiving and had a fantastic dinner! Great service and great ambiance! Overall a wonderful time was had!!
Great service and food!
Food was great and service too. Thank you!
All good except for cold (partially thawed bread in the bread basket. Disappointing
We went for brunch and it was quite nice. My wife had an omelet made at the omelet bar that was very well done, the only downside was the options were rather limited. I am vegan and these options were also rather limited but the roasted cauliflower with red pepper coulis was exceptional. When we go for brunch we really enjoy an abundant fruit salad, unfortunately all they had was a bowel of mediocre strawberries and a bowl of half ripe honeydew melon. The pastry selection was large and we'll made. The pizza looks good and the usual breakfast meats looked and smelled great. All in all it was a pretty nice brunch set up but there is room for improvement especially at $42.00 a pop.
Booked Brix last night for a party of eight and very disappointed. The room they had us in was cold, and our waiter did seem to want to be there.
Overall service was poor, and the food was just ok. Been going to Brix for the last ten years when in Napa but we will no longer.
On this occasion, the service was good but very slow. The food was Ok but not as good as on previous visits. Hopefully ,it was just an off night for Brix.
As always, Brix was a delight! Amazing food, fantastic service, cozy ambience. This was my first time bringing extended family from out of state, all of them loved Brix!
Great service and even better food! One of our favorite restaurants!
Unfortunately, we went to Brix specifically for the lamb; however, the lamb had beeb removed from the menu a few days befor and not undated on their website. The staff was very courteous and understood when we left without ordering.
Good brunch on Sunday and very reasonable corkage for the champagne that we brought. The brunch buffet was huge and had so many great options that we all left stuffed. The shortrib benedict, corn beef hash croquettas, smokey bacon, and huckleberry and apple crisp were particular favorites. We weren't able to sit outside because of the smoke from the fires but we were able to walk outside after lunch and take the view in. The food is great but the view is the best part. Our server was friendly.
A lovely setting inside and out! We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff was personable and knowledgeable. We will definitely go again when in the Napa area.
Excellent dinner with very friendly service. The food was outstanding.
Is there anyway to give 6 stars? What a wonderful meal we had here, followed by a walk in the on site garden. Will return!
Arrived before 5:30pm so waited at the bar with some good drinks. Exactly 5:30pm escorted to our outside seating with spectacular view, great ambiance. Great choice of wines. Meal was deliciously prepared and presented.
