Brix Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed a relaxing Sunday brunch in the outdoor area overlooking an immaculate flower and vegetable garden and beyond, the stupendous Napa Valley vista. The brunch is a buffet, with a vast array of options to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Most of the dishes were presented beautifully (which a is great achievement given this is a high volume buffet) and in suitably small portion sizes to allow people to taste several different things without too much guilt! The staff were friendly and professional.
Brix is an excellent restaurant. Perfect location right before you hit the beautiful wineries. I've been to Brix multiple times and it does not disappoint. Sitting outside is gorgeous- there grass area and gardens with sunflowers really make it special. I have also gone at night for drinks outside what a beautiful way to watch a sunset. Will definitely be back!
This was our first time at Brix and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We are on the back patio and the ambiance was perfect. The grounds are pristinely manicured, the service was great and the food was tasty. We will be returning on our next trip to Napa.
Been to Brix a number of times over the past 15 years and always really enjoyed it.
Other than a card given to us for our 30th Anniversary, short rib was tasty but very fatty and restaurant was extremely hot. Almost too hot to finish meal.
I have to say, we were very disappointed with the overall experience.
We were touring wineries close by and choose, based on other reviews, Brix for lunch. They have a beautiful outdoor eating area but it was 100 the day we were there, so we chose to eat inside. The service was great, the food was wonderful and the value we thought was great. We did go spend some time out by their gardens. They were spectacular. I would highly recommend this place to eat.
One of the best appetizers I've ever had (crab fondue) and one of my favorite desserts in recent memory (lemon creme brûlée). The main dish (vegetarian pasta) was fine, good but very subtle flavor and just barely enough veggies - but the perfect dish to allow me to eat every last bite of my two favorites without feeling overly stuffed! My husband had the special beef salad with grilled romaine and an onion dressing and it was delicious, as was his chocolate dessert. We came for a date lunch because someone gave my husband a gift card, and we traveled for an hour to get to the restaurant. Having never heard of it before, we plan to make the drive again and try the fish and chips, a hamburger and more desserts. Or the special of the day! The vegetarian pasta was overpriced for being mostly just pasta but everything else seemed to be a decent value. Based on the quality and flavor of my two favorite items though, I definitely want to go back!
Brix, especially outdoor seating, is lovely. It is like eating in a beautiful garden. Most of the veggies in the dishes come from the on-site garden that is open to walking through. Food was excellent ,and there were good local wine choices. We really enjoyed our dinner at Brix.
The food is prepared and presented in small portions so the food doesn't sit out for a long period and get dried up. All the food was delicious and creative i.e., the seasonal pizza. Loved the macaroons but wish that we could have tried all the flavors. The views into the vineyards is spectacular. We were also able to stroll thru the garden and take pics among the vineyards.
We ordered the Brix burger, half chicken, and red pepper polenta at our server's recommendation. The burger was very good, and the parmesan fries were delicious. The chicken was good, but not something I would order again. The polenta was a winner with very nice flavors.
We followed dinner with another recommendation from the server, the Bananas Foster Parfait. I would not recommend this. It was very disappointing. It tasted like it was pulled from a freezer and they forgot to heat it. We didn't even finish it, which is unusual for any dessert with me.
We went there to celebrate my birthday with 5 people. Beautiful setting-amazing garden out back, truly "farm to table". Our waitress was very informed and gave great recommendations. All selections were delicious and we were very impressed with everything. Service was just right, not too little, not too much. A great experience!!
This was our least favorite dining destination while we were in Napa Valley. The food was just "ok". The outside patio and mountain/garden view were beautiful. The table seated beside us ordered the crab fondue and it was a terribly small portion; I'm glad I decided to choose something else.
We sat outside with spectacular garden and mountain views. Our meals were very good, ther service pace is slow - perhaps intentually. Wine options were very good including their own. Dessert disappointed however - bananas foster is not the devine outcome it could have been. Overall, very happy but will skip desert next time.
