The restaurant was very warm and friendly. The food was delicious and the staff was on point. Can’t say enough good things about Brix.
I was shocked.... We had not been to Brix in years... No alacart choice ... Only the buffet which was over priced and under valued..
Service poor, obviously no manager on site... Tables left soiled and uncleaned... Would not recommend....
We were a group of eight for a special birthday celebration. The buffet brunch was superb. Foods well displayed , hot foods were hot, cold foods were cold. Salads were excellent, Eggs Benedict at perfection, bacon crispy , smoked salmon and buttered clams plentiful. Everything from pizza to fresh oysters. Dessert display fabulous. Children especially liked the mini macarons.

The service was unbelievably poor. While the server seemed to be out of his league, the runners and bussers were somewhat immune to servicing the guests. The Manager's kept walking by the tables, seeing many patrons sitting without food for over 30 minutes. Finished plates sat and sat on tables for too many minutes. All in all, while the taste of the food was OK, all else, except for the ambiance of the location, was not.
For a restaurant to be in business for so many years, I can see that if their attitude to customer service continues on this path, they will be looking for a new owner and more importantly, more customers.
Burger was undercooked. Risotto was very acidic and inedible. Service was terrible. The view was amazing.
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Menu could be broadened and include more reasonable wine selections. Service was excellent with very good attention to detail. Recommend for couples looking for that special place to celebrate an event or relationship. Good for dining with friends and family but not young children. We heard the back patio is very special overlooking the mountain and vineyards and garden areas but we could not see that as we were there late and in the dark hours. Bar area looked nice too for those who want to just sit at the bar have a glass of wine and an appetizer. Not very big so take note. All veggies were really tasty as was the short-rib. Skirt steak had odd smokiness to it almost like liquid smoke. Too overpowering. Salted caramel dessert was fabulous. Definitely go back to this restaurant in the future when visiting Napa.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Yountville so we chose a table in the garden facing the vegetable plantings and vineyards. Service was prompt and attentive. I had the soup of the day (a red pepper chowder) and the pasta of the day (fettuccine with chunks of prime rib and a light cream sauce). My wife ordered the grilled chicken salad. We enjoyed a glass of local Pinot Grigiot and topped it off with green tea (for her) and cappuccino for me. Every dish was perfect and prices were a great value. Highly recommend this restaurant as a part of a visit to the wine country.
The braised short ribs were the best I've ever had. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it extra special for us, even with a card! I've never received a greeting card from a restaurant before! Very special and excellent service!
My wife, 12 year old son and myself went to the Brix Sunday Brunch and it was fabulous. I enjoyed the selection of entree’s, salads, vegetables and dessert. It’s part of our family tradition to go to the brunch on a early basis around Valentines Day and I plan to continue this tradition given how good the food and service is for the brunch. Highly recommended!

We had been to Brix years ago and remembered it as being really great food. It had been remodeled since then and that added to the experience. Food was exceptional as was the wine and beer selection. We had gone to Mustards down the street the night before and were disappointed there, but Brix was much more pleasant. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the prices as I was expecting higher. We will be back.

We always try to stop by Brix Restaurant and Gardens for lunch or dinner when we visit Napa Valley and this time it was a late dinner on Saturday evening after a long day of visiting some of our favorite wineries. Being fairly late we were more tired than hungry and had had enough of wine tasting so we all chose cocktails from the specialty drink menu. All four drinks were very well crafted and delivered in a reasonable timeframe given how busy it still was. We then started with a shared appetizer of Tempura green beans and they were very good and the portion was large enough to share among four adults. My wife selected the Pork and Shrimp potstickers appetizer as her entree (she loved it) while the rest of us ordered the Brix Burger. We all three selected different temperatures for our meat, different toppings to leave off, and the kitchen got them all right. They were very tasty for sure. Our server was pleasant and competent and it was a satisfying end to a lovely day in Napa Valley.
Not sure we’ll come back...service was slow at first although later got better. Food was so-so...I think the location is the best part and outside patio on a nice day. On a positive, we felt it was fair how we were taken care of after an entree wasn’t prepared right.
