Loved our meal and our server. The outdoor seating has great ambience!
First time at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The lobster dishes were steamed/poached perfectly (not over done) and all of our dishes were tasty. Great ambiance and service with plenty of options for indoor and outdoor dining. Staff was attentive, from phone call confirming reservation to on-site attention. Looking forward to next visit!
Great server-great food-great seating-Bill Oconnor is amazing and professional
Amazing food and service. A fantastic place - rooftop is a great place to sit.
Excellent food and service. A very pleasant surprise given that some of the previous reviews were not positive. The ingredients were fresh and food was delicious. Service was definitely not slow at all. Reasonably priced. We were skeptical at first but is very impressed and enjoyed our 1st dining experience here.
Rooftop area is fantastic. Started recently going back there for cocktails this time we had dinner and the food was great. We had the halibut and the deviled eggs they were all fantastic. Service was super good too
Sublime evening celebrating all things Lobster. We enjoyed the only lobster themed menu on the upstairs terrace. It was perfection.
The difference between the rooftop dining experience compared to the lower floor is like night and day. Yesterday we ate on the ground floor. There were 4 tables on the ground floor with customers. It took half an hour to bring our drinks an hour and 15 minutes for the entrées to arrive. We had to constantly flag the waiter to ask for updates.
The Lobster roll is outstanding...every Saturday they have a Lobster Fest...!!
Great atmosphere on the rooftop with good food and drinks
I’ve been to the BBC a couple of times before, and it was alway excellent.
This night, the experience wasn’t so good.
Food was not bad, but not good either. Calamari was undercooked to my taste, and lobster was unimpressive. My wife had pasta, which was again ok for home made everyday pasta.
The waitress was definitely on a bad day. She forgot drinks, mixed up some orders and was overall on the airy and bubbly side. Not in a cute way.
Ambiance is great, and we still had a good evening, but it was overall a mediocre experience.
Really nice outdoor setting which doesn't feel overcrowded.
A bit pricey though.
excellent food, and really remarkable service. I don't know how they get cocktails to you so fast.
The lobster bisque was nice but very strong tomato flavor and just a few small flecks of lobster meat in it. Very nice, but it didn’t have a strong seafood or lobster flavor. So a little disappointing.
The lobster bolognese was very creamy and predominantly tomato flavor. The lobster pieces were small strips of meat. We expected bigger chunky pieces of lobster.
The lobster bruschetta was tasty and actually had some good chunks of lobster, but the sauce with onions and sun dried tomatoes was too much so it made the bread all soggy. Bruschetta is supposed to crispy bread. Expected a more traditional Italian bruschetta with some lobster meat rather than a rich (but tasty) sauce.
Paella too had predominantly strong tomato base. It was very tasty and nicely cooked, but not a lot of lobster meat in it, and again disappointing since this was lobsterfest night.
There was nothing overly with any of the dishes, we just expected more given the billing of this as lobsterfest. If the paella had the same amount of lobster meat as the bruschetta it would have been nice.
If I go again, I would order the half or whole lobster to get a decent amount of meat.
great lobster and drinks on the roof, good service
Sit on the roof too if you want VIP service. Sat in the main dining room, a slew of different people “helping” us. Yet no spoon was brought when we ordered soup SMH. The “bread service” was once slice of bread that we had to ask for many timesaver just don’t bother.
Sat on the Rooftop - beautiful sky there was a lot of high energy, can get quite loud. You can hear the train go by, so if you want intimate conversation, sit inside.
The service was excellent; food was very good, the Ahi poke was delicious.
Celebrating a birthday! Had a great time! Service was great! Highly recommend.
Excellent food as always
From the moment I arrived, the staff and ambiance was welcoming and efficient.
Overall good food and drinks, nice ambiance on the roof, server was very friendly but the food took so long that it somewhat ruined the experience. We were warned we would need to be finished with our meal within our allotted 2 hours but after 2.5 hours we were still waiting for our main course. Raw oysters took 45 minutes to come out as an appetizer and the server forgot our coffee then double charged a drink. It happens and again he was very friendly and they were likely understaffed but it was frustrating with how long the wait for our food was just to be asked to leave quickly after paying because the next party was waiting to be seated (although they were the reason why we were so late).
Amazing staff and great food. The manager Freddy and his team went above and beyond. Our server was so kind, didn’t get his name but he’s from Nepal, and the rooftop host was great too! We can’t wait to visit again, food was scrumptious too!
Great place to get together with friends. Rooftop bar with great atmosphere, nice ambiance and good service. Food good be more interesting, but overall good value for money.
If you want to have a meal as if at a disco, everyone screaming to be heard , waiters projecting at you to be heard coupled with mediocre food , go to the BBC roof terrace. I always wonder how the loop of feedback is so broken between customers ( almost 1/2 the tables had quiet people in distress , no conversation ), staff ( our waiter was practically yelling for us to hear the specials ) and the owners. So do a survey and listen .
The food was ordinary at best. My burger and my son’s were served with no tomato, lettuce, onion, no mustard was offered and the bacon was tough . The rest of our table’s meals were OK but nothing you can’t get at a diner .
The space is very nice and is the only saving grace. The rest needs an overhaul
First time here and we thought service was great and food was delicious. Will definitely come back again
You can’t beat lobster 🦞 nought on the rooftop. BBC is always a great time with friends for casual dinning /drinks or celebrations.
We were a little disappointed with the level of service during this visit to BBC. We had to ask for water to be refilled several times, while noting that servers were standing nearby but not surveying the tables they were supposed to be servicing.
It was lobster night, and I ordered a half lobster for my entree. Half way through the meal I had to ask for a lobster shell cracker so I could access the meat in the lobster claw. That item should have been delivered with my meal, right from the start.
Great service and very nice ambiance!
Love this place! Menu is great, food is delish! One of my new favorite places to dine. We had an overly-chatty waiter who kept interrupting, which was annoying, but last time I was there the waiter was amazing.
My friend and I enjoyed Lobster Saturday on the roof top. Many tasty selections of lobster based appetizers and main courses, of which we chose lobster bruschetta (good,, but better if on smaller bread for 2- bite portions), lobster paella (my weakness-rewarded), and half lobster grilled ( all for its tenderness dipped in butter)! Open area, airy views,, relaxed ambiance. I will return!
BBC=BEST service, food, ambiance!!!!!!!!!
Great birthday dinner and seasonal lobster.
Great rooftop seating, good food, nice cocktails and wine list - what's not to like?
Food was great. Very busy! Did their best.
Wife and I come here for their yearly summer lobster special menu. As always, delicious! Both meals were excellent. The service was great.
rooftop dining was marvelous; lots of fun with lobster fest going on and we'd return just for the ambiance
The lobster was fabulous, the service outstanding, the ambiance perfect!
It was nice to see the Lobster Saturday Night promo running again! I also enjoyed the return of the Strawberry Shortcake dessert.
We were there early. Lovely furnishings, but service was ok. Employees were sitting throughout the restaurant, so we felt like we were there after hours. Waiter made limited eye contact. Think it may be better during their peak hours, but we were looking to avoid a crowd.
