Bristol Seafood + Steak + Social
My server was amazing, due to my circumstances. The rest of my party did not show so I ate calamari and drank a bottle of wine. Always top notch
The biscuits alone are worth the visit.
Overall experience was good. Only issue was they forgot our appetizers until after main courses were delivered. The halibut and mahi mahi were delicious.
Great night at Bristol. Just getting back up and running, but service and food were on point. Looking forward to going back soon.
Great experience. Staff was amazing and food was soooo good. The bisque was awesome and added to the overall meal.
Everything was good, but the food could have been a little warmer and the service with picking up the plates, really lacked.
The food was superb , my wife had the crab legs and I went with the bone-in ribeye, both dinners were amazing ! Our waiter was awesome as well , will return !
They found us a perfect table. The wait staff were attentive and pleasant . Known for their biscuits, it must have been another time as our were just a bit over cool and felt like they were left from the night before. Soups were good. The staff helped us choose a perfect unoaked Chardonnay.
Service was slow. We were not charged for the appetizer because it took so long. The waitress was not very attentive. The biscuit service...which is one of the features we love...was almost non-existent, we received one round. My daughters broccolini was bitter and it looked old.
We were seated immediately. We ordered and our food was promptly delivered. Our waiter was helpful and hard working. The food was really good and we will definitely return.
Showed up for brunch and it had been cancelled due to the corona virus. Won’t be back until the brunch buffet returns.
We have fined here several times and this was by far our worst experience and may prevent us from return. It took 10 mins for our waiter to greet us after we were seated. After we got our waters and another 10 mins went by, we noticed our waiter in the glass in the kitchen just folding napkins. He noticed us staring at him as we were ready to order. Once we ordered- salmon and a steak, it took 30 + mins to get our food. Our waiter never once came to check on us during that time- again folding napkins. Someone else brought our food finally, and the waiter again did not come by til we were almost finished. The food was great but the lack of service completely outweighed our experience. Hopefully Ruben will focus more on his customers next time over his napkins and trying to get cut.
Great place to go before Sprint center concert or any event at power and light
Great food. Great selection. Overall, a great place to enjoy a nice meal.
Great place to impress a business partner or first date.
The Sunday Brunch is EXCEPTIONAL
Disappointed you got rid of the seafood crepes on the brunch menu it was the highlight of the hot foods PLEASE BRING THEM BACK
We were celebrating our 16th anniversary so I made reservations. The service was good and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back in the near future.
Good experience! The food is very fresh!
Server only gave attention to tables that were consuming alcohol. Had to ask say his name to get his attention when passing
We ordered the Filet Mignon with Garlic Herb Roasted Potatoes & Lobster Mac & Cheese and Seafood Mixed Grill with Mashed Potatoes & Lobster Mac & Cheese. Our server was amazing. It was our first time and he did a wonderful job making sure we understood everything on the menu and our choices. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was highly recommended (why we both went for it despite the upcharge) yet it was literally flavorless, not even a hint of cheese flavor, more like barely lobster flavored noodles. The Filet Mignon was not cooked medium well like specified (charred outside and bloody inside) and was not seasoned at all (although the smoke flavor was present but scant). The Seafood Mixed Grill was hopeful (it was explained to us that they fly fish in daily, ETC.) but was equally disappointing. The crab cakes were more of a mush, mashed potatoes were mediocre at best, and the salmon has an "off" flavor I could not put my finger on. Despite the disappointing dinner, the cocktail we had was amazing. Not what we expected from such a high end establishment, especially for $140.00 for the 2 of us.
Fantastic, birthday dinner, and free dessert!
Great service, great food especially the biscuits. Service was outstanding and like the atmosphere. We were a party of 12 and the service was efficient. Would definitely come back.
Waiter Kyle was the excellent. So friendly and attentive. We arrived (with reservations) at 12:45, and sadly the brunch buffet was majorly picked over. It was almost embarrassing. Out of prime rib, teriyaki wings, key lime pie-to name a few items. The buffet tables looked like an army had attacked them-no plates, honey butter container scraped clean, and food slopped around on tablecloths. I was pretty irritated, as 33.00 pp is a lot to pay for an experience like this. BTW- the remaining food actually ended up being really good-omelets, lobster mac, shrimp, grits. However, when you go for specifically for prime rib-you expect prime rib. Fortunately, Kyle was able to advocate for us and the manager gave a discount.
Bristol Lounge Brunch was excellent with a great selection, fresh food always being brought out and service was very attentive. Alex, our waiter, did an outstanding job.
The food was the saving grace here. They are known for their Sunday Brunch, but they were not well staffed at all. We had reservation so we were seated right away, but it took 10 minutes before anyone approached out table of 5pl and another 15 before we received our beverages. Plates ran out at the buffet more than once and it was not even that overly crowded yet. I had to ask twice for a refill on my coffee. Only had 2 cups due to the entire wait time between the first and the last cup. Then we had to ask twice to be presented with our $200.00 check so we could leave. Again- the food was very good and worth the price, but the service level bordered on annoying. They staff was friendly and kind, but just not attentive. Our wait times at the table for simple service items (beverage refill, clearing dirty plated and delivery of check) are basic standard that should be met with in a reasonable time. Instead it took us almost 2 hours for a meal that should have only been 1 hour. We will think twice about going again based on service level.
Came here for the day after Valentine’s Day dinner.
I have never written a review, (negative or positive) but our experience was Awful. Our server Greeted us, but never told us his name. I ordered baked French onion and my better half ordered the lobster bisque...soups were the best part of dinner.
For our entrees, we both order the special, which was a filet and lobster tail, that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes.
1 presentation was ok. It looked like lobster was thrown on plate at last min.
2 potatoes were warm at best, and flavorless
3 the lobster was so overcooked that our steaks were easier to cut than the lobster... maybe that’s because we never received steak knives.
The reason we never received knives , is because our server NEVER came to ask us how our meal was.
Our server cleared our plates, and left a $200 bill on the table.
As we were paying our check I decided the manager needed to know how bad our experience was... We never got a chance, because the fire alarm started to go off... par for the course.
Everything was incredible. The food was amazing, and Chris took care of us at the bar. Lots of people there, but they hustled to keep up on everyone’s orders.
Everything was great. The food was very expensive but I feel like it was worth it. Only bad part was the fire alarms went off mid-meal and they went on for about 10-15 minutes.
Very disappointing experience. My husband and I waited 30mins to be seated even we made reservation week ahead, then we were seated at the bar top table when we specifically requested restaurant seating since it was a date night. We were then seated at some make shift cocktail round..shout out to our server who quickly recognized we weren’t happy and was able to move us to the booth. Restaurant run out of KC strip at 8pm. Cherry on the top, we were told our valet was validated when we first checked in only to find out that after spending $200 dollars valets still costed $10 dollars. Our server was great, but will not recommend.
Great experience and service to celebrate my wife and I 4 year anniversary
Date night! We had an amazing night with delicious seafood and wine! Can’t wait to come back!
This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had! Went there for a dinner with my husband they day after Valentine’s Day. We have come here for the past 4 years for Valentines and will not be returning. To start, the lights weren’t dimmed at all and the music was loud 90s rock. When we got our food my scallops were the size of quarters and were severely overcooked. My husband had the salmon and said his was dry and severely overcooked. We did not even want to stay for dessert our experience was so poor. Very disappointed in the decreasing quality of this restaurant. We will likely not be returning.
The ambiance was wonderful for the occasion. The food was pretty good. A little overcooked. The service was outstanding!
The server for the back table kept bumping my dates chair. Once she knocked her coat off to the floor and did not even pick it up Coat check would have been nice
We love your scallops and usually order them every time.
Bristol's was perfect to eat at on a late Saturday afternoon - it was quiet and not too busy. Service was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Onion soup. My favorite place in KC to eat seafood!!
Went on Valentine's day which is as busy as it gets. Still had a good experience despite going on likely the busiest day of the year.
In the past at other restaurants our experience has not been that good when we dine out on a busy holiday. Our dining experience for this Valentine's Day was exceptional. Our server was very personable and even insisted on taking a steak back when he could see that it wasn't cooked to the guest's stated preference. Our party of four had a reservation and we were seated within 10 minutes of our specified time. All of the staff was very friendly. Thanks for a great dining experience!
This was our first time at Bristol's. We had a very nice dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was great.
