Great place, not a fan of country music but if that’s your thing you will love it!
AMAZING food and service at brunch. Too noisy and loud for brunch, could hear our own conversation very well at our table . Noise level was probably ok for a bar but some acoustic sound boards would be helpful in the space.
Great food, limited but ample choices. Music was very loud.
The Thursday Hot Dog special is a good thing to accompany the Live Band Karaoke with Dirty Money!
Delicious, relaxed environment, bottomless mimosas.
I would go back, but not get the ribs .
Everything was great! I will definitely return. I advise everyone to go early because parking in short-north can be a hassle at times. The BEST chicken and waffles I've ever had!
Food and Service was great. Wish they would have hushpuppy's that would have top it off.
the food was very good but brunch cocktails were mediocre. as the restaurant filled up, service started to slow down - it seemed like our waitress was taking care of more tables than she could handle. i think the restaurant needs more light on the inside, as it was really dark even next to the window! i’ll definitely be back :)
Server was painfully slow. Had to go find her multiple times for various things. Food was good, however, and the bottomless mimosas for $20 was worth it.
The food was absolutely amazing, and it was super fast to table. Service was good, but lacked as the evening went on and the restaurant got busier. Overall though, it was awesome, and we will be back!
Food was excellent as always, great product at a great price. Service was a bit of a let down, had to hunt the server down after not being attended to for 15 minutes.
Amazing food and amazing service. The brisket tots melt in your mouth - soo good! The issue with the cornbread being over cooked and the soda missing syrup was quickly corrected with a smile by the team! Would come back!!
Antoinette, it was our pleasure to serve you Sunday and we are thrilled that you had great experience with us! We hope to see you again soon!
Always try to make it to Bristol Republic when I am in Columbus. Great brunch (which is the only time I've been so far)!
Thank you for making Bristol Republic one of your go-to spots while you are in town! We love that you love it! Stop in and check out one of our live bands on a Friday or Saturday night the next time you are in town! We hope to see you again soon!
It was our first trip out for live music and no masks. The Lucky Penny Sisters were amazing!! Bristol is a great venue. The food was decent. Our waitress was brand new.
She was helpful but was having a hard time keeping up. It took a long time to get our order. We had pop and it was flat. But she tried to help with that. It took a long time to get our food when we saw others get their orders. But the music helped to keep us occupied. I would recommend Bristol for a good time out to see live music. But don’t go for a dinner like we did.
Waitress was terrible. Mixed drink was made incorrectly, and when asked about it, rather thank asking to fix it-informed us that “it’s made with liquor, and it’s in there”. I went to the bar and bought a shot of vodka to make it taste right. The lettuce on my burger looked like cold collard greens, and the chicken Cobb salad was salty and the chicken was cold. The service was terrible-we had to flag down the waitress everytime we needed something. Informed the management politely, and the waitress denied everything with an attitude. Food is dumb overpriced. 70$ wasted. Management comp’d our mixed drink order.
Food was delicious!
Dining with Diva friend club. The food was wonderful. The food was Everything you thought it was more, at a perfect price point. The drinks were really good as well! Highly recommend.
We had no idea this was a bar, the food is definitely overpriced, but good. The service & drinks were excellent. Would like to attend on a weekend night for some good ole country music.
This place was amazing!!!
Great atmosphere, nice country music
We went for Lobster fest and they were out of Lobster
Tator Tots and briskett gave us the runs and the pecan pie was the smallest piece I have ever seen
May go back for drinks but no food
Waited for table to be cleaned and then no waiter/waitress for like 10 minutes until we went to find her. Bless her soul, she was very sweet but not very attentive. Attention to detail was off- no silverware/napkins and drinks were SLOW…bar drinks. Food was great! Everyone was happy and that saved the night.
Lobster rolls were the reason we came and they were great. The staff did a great job.
However the music was too loud to have a conversation. And of course it always stopped right in the middle of my screaming over it.
Great atmosphere and happy hour specials. I was impressed with the wings and brisket.
I’ve been to Bristol a few times and every time the food has always been delicious but the service is usually lacking. This time the service was so bad I don’t think I’ll be back. We went for happy hour, as Bristol has some of the best happy hour deals in Short North. We were greeted immediately, and placed our drink and appetizer order. As expected, the food and drinks were awesome and it was shaping up to be a good night. We were ready to order a second round of drinks and our entrees, but our server was no where to be found. I believe she was the only waitress working the restaurant that night and she was also training a new waitress, so we cut her some slack. Five minutes turned into fifteen and fifteen turned into thirty minutes and still our server hadn’t been back to our table. We tried to flag a few people down but seemed they were so busy they didn’t notice. The waitress in training did end up coming back to the table after about thirty five minutes but by that time happy hour had ended and we were both frustrated and very hungry. We ordered the lobster week specials and again, the food was delicious and came out very quick. I think in the future we might only come here for takeout. I wouldn’t bother sitting inside.
Went for brunch. Was meh.....probably won’t go again. Biscuits were hard and chicken way over cooked.
Me and my friends attended Bingo night on Sunday May 16th, for my BFF’s 30th birthday. We were hoping for ice cream, but we were very disappointed. We didn’t win at bingo and we really wanted that ice cream. There should have been a consolation prize for all the losers of bingo. Maybe like some ice cream?
We ordered the tex nachos for an appetizer, they were amazing! For dinner we ordered a full rack of ribs and some of the piggy mac, they both were pretty good although i wish there had been more bbq on the mac and cheese, which we did end up asking our server for.
Food was delicious, server was very nice and accommodated my request for a smaller salad than the full Cobb salad that I had last weekend. Wings were also amazing. The smokey flavor was good and cant wait to go back for other items on the menu. Also if you know you are going to stick around for the music which is always good make sure to buy a bucket of beer.... Best deal for the $$
Everything about this place was nice! Would definitely go back.
From the moment you walk into Bristol you get the feeling of being in Nashville but in downtown Columbus. The staff is friendly and if you are a regular like me they will know your order before even asking what you would like. Just so happens I'm friends with the owner and he and his staff are just great. The food portions are good and there is much to choose from. I would like to see more options for snack type food if you are not looking for a full meal before drinking. Also maybe having a vegan option would be nice. Overall I would give Bristol Republic a thumbs up!
It’s was a wonderful experience. Food was fantastic! The cocktails were top notch (the first time friends I took got at least two of the signature cocktails because they loved the so much). The bourbon list, for as hard as it has been to get in good rare bourbon, was exceptional. The noise level was loud for the Kentucky derby, and then was brought back down to a level to be able to converse again with your table, which can be a struggle for most bars. The music choice was wonderful. In fact one of the friends I brought doesn’t like country music and yet found himself singing along to the music because he found it enjoyable in the atmosphere of the bar.
Food was good, service was solid. Biggest issue was lack of menus. They offered a digital menu however it was not working for us. We spent 20 minutes messing with it before using Open Tables menu. Server didn’t seem to have an alternative. Frustrating way to start a meal. Otherwise good.
The French toast and unlimited mimosas were the perfect start to a Saturday. We spent way longer there than anticipated because we had such a great time. Highly recommended.
The brisket and chicken sandwich were fantastic.
A group of people that love drinks and love country music. One of my buddies bought a hat and went back between sets and talked to the band and got his hat signed. Super fun time
Amanda was so rad. Fantastic waitress. Give her a raise
Everything was Anazing. Food, drinks, staff, atmosphere.
Bristol is the best! Always have great service and a fun time when I’m there.
Usually when I get an Omelet I end up taking half home. In this case it was half the size of what you normally get. I ate it all, it was good. The place its self is fantastic. Just like be in New Orleans.
