Enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch here yesterday. Had not been to the Bristol in a while because I live in NYC., but whenever I come to the Ville, I have to enjoy myself here with my friends. Since the last time, they have expanded the brunch menu to include some mexican stuff which is a great complement to all the Southern goodies that we all love. Great service and there was live music! Very enjoyable.
Best brunch ever!
A great go to American style bistro which is usually reliable as to food and service. There are some interesting twists on several offerings which keeps the menue interesting.
Exceptional food and service as always. Bristol Burger was prepared exactly as my wife likes as well as my Salmon Teriyaki. We have been coming here for many years and will continue to do so. Never a disappointment.
I would recommend the Bristol Bar & Grille- Highlands to anyone that appreciates excellent food and first class wait staff and employees. I am definitely going to schedule more business luncheons at this facility.
Very nice experience. Fine food and service. Always a treat to go. Every time I try something different and was pleased once again.
BEST BRUNCH IN KENTUCKY!!!
Birthday for 6 was great! Drink special on Thursdays a nice surprise
Great waiter. Full of stories !!! Best Blanton s in Louisville!!!!
Hadn’t been there in 20 years. Sadly, neither has a cleaning crew. Brunch was not worth the trip. One indistinguishable carb after another.
Goodbye Bristol. Your best days are behind you.
The salmon teriyaki and crab cakes were excellent. Good selection of beers at reasonable prices.
Food was excellent as usual. Our group enjoyed the birthday celebration for my wife. Have been a fan of Bristol for 40 years.
My husbands birthday with all our adult kids joining us.
Good food and service; was very accommodating to our group.
The biggest challenge at the Bristol is deciding what dish to have; the menu is extensive. Close your eyes and point. It's all good from appetizer through entree to dessert. Excellent value. The wait staff is among the best in the city.
Always and enjoyable time and good meal! The Bristol is a definite GO TO!
Always an enjoyable meal with amazing service. Look forward to the upcoming patio season
I love this place. We travel from out of town once yearly and ALWAYS make Bristol one of our dining destinations! Food never disappoints, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is casual and friendly! Recommended it to friends and they loved it too!
Great experience will definitely be back!
Terrific food, reasonable prices, broad-ranging menu, professional service, great value. The noise level is moderately "energetic" but, hell no one is perfect.
We enjoyed our evening out!
Everything about our evening was reliably good - just what one expects from Bristol. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to table conversation. The food was up to par and the Teriyaki Salmon was especially good. The calamari was excellent as usual. Our server was excellent. We were surprised to learn after the fact that she had been on an extended hiatus and that we were her first table back. Her service was attentive and professional.
Relaxed atmosphere and predictable food — homestyle and always good. My “ go to” place!
Great food and great service. Very reasonably priced wine flights and the chili wontons are a must have. I would definitely recommend making reservations.
Our wonderful old reliable Bristol... always a great meal and friendly service at a fair price. A Louisville treasure.
Great food at a reasonable price. Definitely will go back.
The Manhattan with Old Forester Bourbon was so smooth! The bread was great. The pork shoulder was good but not amazing. Excellent service and great ambiance though!
Our lunch was wonderful! The fish sandwich and salmon looked great! The tuna nicoise salad was wonderful. Our drinks were refilled often. Derrick our waiter was a pleasure.
Our server was excellent! She was attentive and personable. Zach the manager gave us a very warm welcome to Louisville after a long road trip. We had an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert each and we’re thrilled with how affordable the bill was! There were so many things on the menu that sounded delicious it was hard to choose! We would absolutely go back just for the welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.
We have always loved the Bristol, this was disappointing. The salad was like a bagged salad, bread came without butter. Chicken stir fry was mushy. Lava cake was a disappointment as well. Sorry to say it was a disappointment.
Been here many times and this was the worse food I’ve ever had there. It was a special menu item not regular menu which I’ve never had anything bad from. My Ribeye was very thin and one big piece of fat on the end, my GF had a Seafood linguine item which had two shrimp and five tiny marble sized scallops. It was definitely not worth the $86.00 we paid.
The Bristol always delivers on its heritage as a great local neighborhood dining experience. They offer a wide-ranging menu of delicious, well-executed dishes promptly. The wait staff is unexcelled in the city.
If you want an ordinary experience in fine dining go here. Our waiter was wonderful but
he was the only thing above 3 stars.
The Bristol was delicious as always! Our group of eleven ladies had great service and loved our food.
Great food and service, as usual! Great menu choices and plenty of drink/wine options.
We had an enjoyable evening by the window. Our server & entrees were very good.
The atmosphere is so nice and the noise level is perfect. We were able to have great conversations!
Food is ok. Nothing to write home about. They need a new menu! Same old stuff. Seems like nothing ever changes.
Hands down the best brunch buffet in Louisville. Super value and superb food and service.
(Sunday Brunch) Food was not as we expected. From the high reviews we expected high quality food for a nearly $20 buffet. I felt the food was very lack luster, and we were halfway through our meal by the time we got our drink order taken. There are chain buffet restaurants that have a much larger selection and fresher tasting food, in my opinion. Our lesson was learned, it is not the place for us.
