   Food has gone downhill as well as selections. Fried Chicken dry, overcooked, crust rock hard. Cold roasted potatoes, green beans awful. Greasy mac & cheese. Salad is at the end of the line by the desserts so you don't even know it's there till after you've eaten your meal. Deserts, well don't bother. Server excellent, front desk not welcoming at all.

   Paul, We're sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. We take your concerns seriously. We are experimenting with a new breading for our fried chicken; your comments will be shared with our culinary team as part of that process. We appreciate your input, as it helps guide these adjustments. Regarding dessert offerings, we’re proud to share we had over 15 types of desserts during your visit, all made in-house by our pastry chef. Including carrot cake, brownies, angel food cake, cake batter blondies, three types of cookies, and blueberry cobbler, just to name a few. We’re glad you had excellent service, and we apologize for your experience at the host stand. We will address that with our team. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.    Food prepared well and delicious. Big portions. A nice seating arrangement for our family of seven.

   I haven't been to The Bristol in a long time and was craving the Pork Dijonnaise! My friend got the Shrimp & Grits (but traded the Grits for mashed potatoes). We were not disappointed! The service was great and we were happy! Thanks so much!

   The Bristol is a Louisville gem. Not super fancy, but comfortable and nice. Food is always good and there are options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free folks. I personally would love to see some more vegan entrees and a GF pastra substitute would make a big difference. Friday is $5 Old Fashioned day. Can't beat it!
