Nice environment, good food and services. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, superior service, and value for money.
Best yum cha and chines food I have had in a long time just amazing and fresh.
Great service also.
Fabulous, best yumcha in QLD by far.
Crab Xiao Long Bao was sensational.
Service was terrific as well.
Food was good, fresh and very tasty but service was ok, staff tended to ignore us unless we really made it obvious we needed them.
Everything is perfect for my dinner.
Food, service...I strongly recommend this restaurant!!
My absolute favourite restaurant!!! Quality is unreal, staff are amazing and food is to die for! The vibe is beautiful
Amazing food, amazing people and what a beautiful venue
fantastic food and atmosphere, excellent drinks and quick service!
The food was really not great. It was so difficult to get the waiting staff’s attention. Waited 15 mins to get some soy sauce, no one checked on the food. Wanted to have desert but couldn’t get anyone’s attention to order, we waved and raised our hands but they were just too busy, tried about 20 mins and gave up.
Price for food was too overpriced for the quality and portion of the meal. The customer service was terrible it took 50 minutes for us to get our food. Other people that ordered after us got their food before us which isn’t right.
I had an extremely unsatisfactory visit to brisbane phoenix restaurant. I visited in a group of 4 people for lunar new year on feb 12. We had made a booking for 8pm and arrived promptly on time, to a fairly empty restaurant and a long queue outside. When my partner enquired about our table, and mentioned we had a booking, he was told that “everyone has a booking”, indicating the long line out the door. This was despite the fact I asked a person in the queue if they had a reservation and they said they did not.
Once we finally were seated, it took another 30 minutes for anyone to take our order. In this time four other tables were seated and had their orders taken, and I had to ask a waitress to even get any service.
We ordered four dishes and a fried rice between us. The first dish (a bbq platter) arrived fairly promptly, and then nothing arrived in the half hour following. We had no rice (plain or fried) with which to eat any of our dishes. After the half hour, another dish (crispy chicken) arrived. Approximately 15 minutes later the barramundi arrived with the fried rice. The last dish (scallops) never arrived at all. It was only at toward us finishing the fish and rice that we asked about the scallops, and ended up just deciding to cancel the dish.
The food was average, palatable but not amazing. However two out of the four dishes preceded the rice, which made them salty and difficult to eat on their own. For the exorbitant fine dining prices they charge I expected much better - this was not fine dining.
I am astonished that, for what I imagine would be one of the most demanding days for a Chinese restaurant with massive demand, that the restaurant was unequipped to handle the number of orders. Their staff and time management skills need massive improvement as I can only rate my experience as significantly subpar.
We were there for a Valentine’s Day dinner menu which was very limited and over priced. Our last dish came 45 minutes late.
Service needs to be improved. One of the waitresses poured water so aggressively and spilled water on bag and didn’t apologize
Ambiance was non existent for CNY. Service average, didn't know 10pm close and lastly refusal to split bill because I hadn't read the fine print on a walk message means we will not return.
We dined on Lynda New Years Eve. The food was tasty overall but the service was chaotic, several times we were brought the wrong meal and had to ask for updates to our actual meal. Apparently they were training new staff but training should have been done before this event. For the price we felt very disappointed by the service and quality. Not up to scratch.
Authentic Chinese food!!! Best in Brisbane!
Good food... Excellent Service
But it cost a bit more...
Staff service was the best, menu selection and food was amazing
Service was terrible, food mediocre and over priced for what it was, food forgotten about and not brought out. Waited over an hour and a half for our food.
Was rushed out before finsihing meal with bill shoved on table , requested water and never given it , staff gruff and rude , staff babbling in Chinese right in front of us . High price doesn’t justify this
Pretty Good Yum Cha though a bit on the pricey side. Seating next to the kitchen not the best, but all in all, a good experience.
I love this place. Food is good, atmosphere was fancy. Staff were friendly. I’ll come back with more friends then can share more plates
Food was great but
They were extremely slow and forgot dishes
Great place for a la carte yum cha. The food was great, ambiance excellent and the service fantastic.
You couldn't fault the food. Generous portions and delicious food. It was busy in the restaurant but service was quick.
Please remember to serve Food with Fork and Spoon
Definately not 2 Folks
Ambience and service was excellent. Food was good as well.
Sensational food? Worth the wait for service? You decide.
My friends ordered the Banquet. Highly recommend, much better value for money. I order off the gluten free menu and was unfortunately very disappointed in both value for money and food quality.
Most of the food was nice but a little overpriced in my opinion, and some of the dishes got to us not as hot as I would have liked. We ordered a bowl of rice which they forgot about and we ended up cancelling since we were nearly at the end of our meal. The location however is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and a nice place to have lunch and a good chat with someone. Not the best yum cha I've been to, but does the job if you're in the mood for it.
We elected to go for a la carte for lunch. We had a very enjoyable meal, particularly liked the Pippa Duck. I liked being presented tea to start. The wine/beer list was extensive & well priced. We'll definitely be back, planning to try the Yum Cha next time.
Charged for 2 teas when only one was taken.
Plates are dearer than other Asian places I attend.
I dine regularly at Sky Phoenix and Parramatta Phoenix and both are superior to the Brisbane one.
Validated parking for lunch is too expensive too.
Eat here most weekends and it’s a wonderful experience. Yum Cha is great and staff are wonderful. Highly recommended
Excellent service and food what more can you ask for
We had a great meal, loved the duck pancakes, salt pepper squid and the sticky pork with black vinegar, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will be back!
Pheonix Brisbane had amazing food! Was a great experience and excellent service too, especially when i had to make changes to my reservation a few times.
Delicious meal, the best Chinese outside of Melbourne!
Short of waiter/waitress! Need more service! Hope will improve next time
best yum cha in the town
Great food, superb service, will definitely dine here again soon
