Such a great dining experience. Food was delicious and waitress was personable & had great recommendations. One of our best dining experiences while in New Orleans. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

We had a larger size group so it is often harder to deliver quality meals to the full party. Several of the fish entrees were very good while some were overcooked and dry. It is very noisy room with all the brick and concrete surfaces so be aware of that.

We had an amazing dinner! From the hostess to the wait staff, we felt right at home. Our waiter, Keith, was incredibly knowledgeable and had wonderful suggestions about the menu. The owner of the restaurant AJ was incredibly kind and stopped by our table and ensured everything was perfect which made the experience outstanding! Truly some of the best sea food New Orleans has to offer! Thank you Briquette for a memorable dinner!

They don’t know how to make a cocktail.
Food is mediocre at best and way overpriced.
Server was friendly enough but inattentive, not tuned in and service way too slow.
And to have to pay $10 on top of this to
Park was really annoying. For $450, we could have had a fabulous meal at many other places in the city.
If they want to survive in this city, they r going to have to up their game!

We will not be returning to this restaurant. The dining experience was mediocre in terms of food quality and preparation. I felt they were catering to the tourist crowd vs New Orleans people who appreciate great food and service.

Food was delicious. Our server, Jennifer was wonderful! Ask for her! One note though. You’ll be asked for a water choice: flat or sparkling. If you prefer tap, you should ask for it. A bottle of flat was $7.00

Wonderful meal! Everything was perfectly prepared, and we highly recommend this restaurant. Had seafood gumbo and redfish, both prepared perfectly. Made our first time visit to NOLA memorable. Everyone from hostess, our waiter to owner made us feel welcome.

I never expected to find such a gem of a restaurant so close to the hotel where i was staying. Had been there earlier in the week with .Next 2018 conference attendees, about 6 of us and from the time we stepped through the door that first night, there was like a complete atmosphere change from what was going on outside. Everyone liked what they saw and experienced. Unfortunately the love of my life who also traveled to the conference, was unable to make it that night, but i was so very impressed with the the complete outing, that i made reservations for the last night of our stay in NOLA, when only the two of us were the only conference attendees left. Friday May 11 2018 is forever etched in our memories. We traveled the short distance from the Embassy Suites where we stayed to Briquette and what an experience it was! From the initial greeting to the very short wait for our order, so far so good. Then the star of the first night, Michael ,who waited on us was the star again. As he guided us through our menu selections in a very personable but professional manner, he made us feel quite at home during our experience, (he also had a trainee that night) The Snapper, was a definite winner. My lady was totally impressed, which was all that mattered to me, but i too was also again bowled over with this dining experience. Briquette, thank you for making my last night in New Orleans something truly special. Michael, keep doing a great job. Mr Anthony Tulsa, you have a winner in NOLA!

45 minutes wait before we received water, waiter didn’t show up until 1 hour 10 minutes into our wait. The hostess is the only reason we stayed as she was the first to offer us drinks. We asked for a waiter 2 times.

The food was delicious and visually appealing. I had the halibut served with pistou, brussel sprouts and 3 colors of potatoes - SO GOOD! Our server got in the weeds and was not attentive. The restaurant is far too loud for my liking - no one could hear even the person next to them, and certainly not ALL THE WAY across the table from them. This was 100% the topic of discussion the next day.

The food was good. Unfortunately, the design of the building made it one of the loudest restaurants we've eaten in. We almost had to yell to each other to be heard while we were sitting right next to each other.
It made what could a have been a good dinner one that we can not recommend.

In a city where great food is everywhere, this restaurant has potential but falls short on service and presentation of their food. The redfish on the half shell is the best item on the menu but the rest was average. Cool environment but they need to step up the servers and energy.

Cool spot and food was good but we will never come back here. Server couldn’t wait to leave and let us know it. They took our reservation too close to closing time and we felt like we were rushed out. Lights were shut down in certain parts of the restaurant and music was turned off. We eat out often and have never experienced anything like that before. Too bad.

While in town for JazzFest, we dined here one night. We shared the seared Ahi appetizer, which was difficult to eat in the stemmed glass. The tuna was a bit overdone, apparently seared after being cut into pieces. We both had fish entrees, which were good, though the 3 shrimp atop mine were overdone. For dessert I had the Molasses Foster; the bread (pan perdu) in it was burned, which never should have been served. My wife had the fried ice cream, which oddly was served on half of a green fried flour tortilla. Overall, interesting dishes that would warrant a return trip.

Wonderful experience. We had an early reservation. The owner greeted us, then took us into the kitchen and had us hand-pick our fresh fish, then watched them prepare and grill the fish.

The owner has created a modern, upscale, yet extremely comfortable atmosphere along with very unique cuisine.

Outstanding!

Went for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the drinks, the ambiance. It was really great! Def recommend. Side note...I have a 3 yr old, so I’m always wondering if a restaurant is kid-friendly, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant as one.

Worst waiter I’ve ever encountered at a good restaurant. Argues that we had ordered things we had not, then charged us for it anyway. Couldn't be bothered to fill wine or water glasses.

Service was absolutely awful. Negligent, rude, and even slightly combative. Never experienced anything like it. Felt like maybe we were being pranked, but turns out the only prank was the fact that "by the way, the 20% gratuity has already been included." Maybe he was just having a bad day, but in a city that prides itself on wonderful restaurants, do yourself a favor and pick literally any other place in town to spend your evening.

Food was good. We all had a bowl of soup and appetizer for our meal. The crab bisque was delicious. Although the complimentary bread was hard. Dessert was excellent. I highly recommend the Meyer Lemon Cloud and the Molasses Factory Foster- both large enough to share. Service was slow and the restaurant was not busy.

My wife took me here for my birthday. We must have caught it on a bad night. The waiter was overworked. It took forever for him to refill our drinks and even bring our mixed drinks. We are in New Orleans - land of alcohol and it was deathly slow. He was running around like crazy. The food was good - but ever so slow. The double espressos weren't very good. The dessert was average. Disappointed overall.

The food was amazing! We had the scallops as an appetizer and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our table had the redfish on the half-shell and the swordfish and they were amazing! Dessert was ok! The vanilla creme brûlée was a bit heavy and gritty, but the bananas foster dish was pretty good. My only concern with this restaurant is the wait staff. It was very clear that they are very new to fine dining service. We had to ask multiple times for water and drinks. Our server would bring food and drinks, but wouldn’t clear the table. My dish came with pommes frites and didn’t arrive with my meal. When I asked about it, the server brought it but then charged me for it as a side. I arrived 25min prior to my reservation to make plans for desert at the end of the meal since it was a birthday dinner for a friend. No one relayed the plan to the waiter and we had to reorder at the table...in front of the guest of honor. The server still didn’t remember the order and came back to ask for it again. Lastly, I’d ordered a very delicious glass of Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon at the bar prior to being seated. I reorder a glass during dinner and when it arrived, it was cold. Apparently, it has been chilled. This altered the taste of the wine, which I was not happy with considering it was a $40 glass of wine. The food at this place is amazing, but the service is beyond disappointing. I’d love to return, but don’t plan on doing so unless the service improves.

Overall the food was very good. The owner gave us a tour of the kitchen to show us the fresh fish they serve and the fish was delicious!Service started out very good until a huge party of about 25 or so came in and our waiter went to help with that table so we had to wait awhile for drink refil and to order dessert and waited awhile again to get our check. Other than them being a little understaffed It was a good experience and I would go back.

Bottle of champagne was not available on a Saturday early evening. Appetizers were brought out at different times. Fish was over cooked on both entrees. Server was nice but took a long time to take our order. Food was ok but on a positive note the restaurant as a whole really appeared to be striving towards a good dining experience.
