The food was amazing. I order the Alaskan Halibut with Brussels.
Really great place, food was very good, noise level was not excessive for the size, able to have a decent conversation between the4 of us without difficulty.
Food was great but the service was awful. There was only one waiter working the lunch crowd and the host/manager didn’t offer any assistance to the overwhelmed waiter.
We enjoyed the bar and the dinner. Definitely a great night!
The food was good but not fantastic. It’s overpriced. Our server was not very nice. Kindna rude and was not very attentive . It was my first time there and I will not come back
Our waiter Daniel was one of the best service personal from our global travel.
Thank you again for taking such good care of us from Atlanta, Georgia.
Always enjoy. Love blackened fish and my husband loves chicken.
Nice experience. Enjoyed our visit.
If you like fish this is the place. The Stuffed snapper was excellent. They gave us a tour of the kitchen. When ordered they prepare a whole fish in a unique way. The fish is raised above the grill surface so not to stick to any surface. Then the flames are enhanced as needed to reach and cook the fish.
This was my second visit to Briquette and I remain underwhelmed. I guess I have to agree with some of the other reviews that it seems to cater to the conventioneers, not to locals. The server, while pleasant enough, was disinterested and the service was very, very, very slow. Each course, including drinks, came out with super long gaps in between. The food was good, but not noteworthy. The whole experience was just "meh."
The food was delicious and our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and welcoming. He answered questions about a fancy drink a few tables away from us, had several recommendations for wine, appetizers and entrees and provided us with a complimentary appetizer just because. The portions are very large, we probably could have split an entree. The wine recommendation was right on point.
Got a real taste of New Orleans. Food and service was excellent
Everything was so amazing!! We came in for a early dinner around 4 on a Friday. We had the best service by Patrick! His recommendations were spot on. We had the whole red gulf fish which was cooked to perfection. The creole gumbo tasted just like my grandmas. My mother and I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks Again, you all were so hospitable.
Went for Coolinary Menu and was very pleased. The gumbo is excellent and very much like my mom’s!
The Coolinary menu was a really good value. The bowl of gumbo was tasty and almost large enough to be a meal in itself. My piece of redfish, I had it without the almonds, was huge and seasoned well. The only choice for desert was bead pudding, which was served as three beignets. Way too big and very tasty. A really good value all for $39.
Excellent service. Went on a weeknight and it was pretty empty. I think that is due to it being in a business district that caters to that clientele so a bit slow for dinner. The food was very good and served in a timely manner. Would go back.
Tuna was overcooked. Wait staff needed help. Other staff seemed disinterested in making guests feel welcome and attended to. Nice atmosphere but not enough to make a positive recommendation to others.
Good food and a cool converted warehouse vibe and nice wine list. Enjoyed Briquette and would definitely go back.
The service was horrible! The waiter was rude. My steak was ordered medium and cooked well done and no apology was given. Neither the waiter nor the managerial staff came over to see how we enjoyed the food and service. The food was very bland . This is an expensive tourist trap.
Food was very good, ambience lovely and the staff was pleasant and attentive. However, we were definitely rushed to leave the closer it got to close. The server kept clearing single cups and napkins in a way that sent the message we should leave now. Overall, I would still go back.
All of the food from our appetizers to dessert was excellent.
The menu selection was good. It was pretty straight forward unlike most restaurant menus these days. The ambiance was good. The food was good. The service was very good. The restaurant was almost empty at 7:30 on a Friday night so it was quiet. All around it was a pleasant experience.
The ambiance and decor were nice. The complements stop there. The food did not match the prices. Cold bread, a store bought sub loaf, not made fresh or even baked in house. The appetizer, a crab stack was good, not great, not hot and seemed like it was reheated. I ordered a redfish dish, it was dry and over cooked. My companions ordered catfish, very overpriced compared to competitors. I would not recommend this restaurant. For the prices, these dishes should have been prepared fresh and I think these meals were precooked and reheated.
Scallops were amazing
Food was mediocre for the price. The place was dead for a Friday evening. While the place was practically empty when we arrived, the waitress chose to seat us upfront by the entrance. The server while friendly and informative when we arrived, his demeanor changed when he found out I had a Groupon.
Awesome restaurant, awesome service! Great food, loved it
Food was absolutely delicious!!
Everything was good
Started off with the Strawberry Gimlet... sooo good! My husband ordered the red fish, and I the ribeye. My ribeye was absolutely delicious. Hubby couldn't eat the fish. I tried it, and I couldn't eat it either, yet I can't say what was wrong with it exactly, other than the taste was just really off. But our waiter whisked it away, no questions asked, and brought out a ribeye for my husband. In the end it was all yummy and wonderful. Great server too... wish I had caught his name. If we are ever back in NOLA, we will definitely eat here again!
A hidden jewel in New Orleans. Located in the Warehouse district in an old Sugar Cane processing building. The original beams which are massive are still in use.
The food was great. Service was excellent. The best meal we had while in New Orleans.
I will recommend to all my friends that travel there. Prices for great food very reasonable. If you’re in Nawlins go there you’ll love it.
Awesome food! Awesome service! Made my last day in New Orleans great!!
This place if fantastic. We totally enjoyed our meal. It deserves six stars.
The sea scallops and gumbo were delicious. The fish was mushy and fishy. They had high prices and did not have the fine dining experience to go along with their prices. It was loud and not romantic in any way. I wrote on Open Table that is was my birthday and they did absolutely nothing to celebrate. We paid for dessert and they were both awful.
I would suggest eating the sea scallops and gumbo then leaving.
The food quality was not up to standard quality for New Orleans. All severs were amazing and should be working for quality restaurants.
I live in New Orleans and was very excited to try Briquette. I will give it one more chance. Probably try a brunch.
The bar was perfect.
The food and service were top notch!! The Grilled Redfish on the Half Shell was our waiters recommendation and it was amazing!
Food was phenomenal and our waiter Daryll could not have been more attentive. Definitely will go back in our next trip.
Service and food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Service was extremely slow and in attentive.
The Fish is very fresh and prepared wonderfully. Service was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
