BRIO Tuscan Grille - Woodlands - The Woodlands
I was hoping Brio would have decorated the table for my daughter's birthday, since I did tell them in advance. Also the food is not very good, especially for the price.
When I made reservation I told them it was my husband’s birthday. No acknowledgement at all was made. Very disappointing. I guess I could have made a fuss just chose not to.
So if you are going for special occasion be sure you tell them again when you get there.
Otherwise all was good.
We had a wonderful time. It was homecoming weekend, but with a reservation (that they sweetly held for us due to traffic and parking issues - we called as soon as we could) we got seated quickly and had no issues. The food was great and our waiter was very kind and attentive. You could tell that it was busy as the food took a little bit of time to come out, but it wasn’t a ridiculous time and it was a special weekend in the area.
Brio is one of our favorite date night spots.
The hostess at the restaurant was not friendly; rather, very dry and seemed to be very unpleasant about something.
The food was good, a little noisy for me but it must have been due home coming. the place was packed with high schoolers all dressed up.
Excellent service and very good food
Great place for a business lunch. Not crowded and I had a very relaxed conversation with my colleague.
Overall happy with our experience. Red pepper bruschetta was great, my wife had prawns with angel hair pasta and enjoyed that. I had spaghetti carbonara as entree and thought it was dry and lacking something. It appeared to be prepared without egg and I could not taste the parmesan that is normally mixed in wit the egg during the cooking process. I enjoyed the caramelized onion but had a hard time finding the pancetta.
Server was very slow and forgetful. Has to make multiple trips for things and would forget again. A Sunday night 6pm reservation took over 2 hours. Food was delicious as always.
Normally go through one at City Center. Waitress was slow, and needed to be reminded about refilling drink orders and checking back with us. When it came time to split the check between two couples, we have her 2 CC to divide evenly and she disappeared to redo the entire check and came back to the table. Wasted 20 minutes when she obviously didn’t know what she was doing and we had to hustle to the concert. Food was average. Not their best location.
We set a reservation early Sunday am. We were sat promptly. No server or manager came to greet our table, at the bare minimum bring water. We waited 13 minutes and left. There was NO reason or excuse as the restaurant was not busy AT ALL. Disappointed and yet another reason we don’t patron chain restaurant. We made an exception for restaurant week and thought it would be quick in and out. Instead we had to find another place to dine.
The vegetables were soggy, potatoes bland, desert seemed like was grocery store frozen and wine was both overpriced and terrible quality. I could have bought a whole bottle of two buck chuck (which we hate) would have been better. Service mediocre. It used to be a good place and has gone way downhill. Not worth the price with so many other excellent options nearby.
Yes. We heard servers at tables other than ours having great rapport and giving extra attention to surrounding tables, even asking if there was something to celebrate. Although our server did none of those, I would still recommend. I should mention that we were eating to celebrate my fiance's birthday, but since they didn't ask we didn't want to make a point of it, but it's always nice to hear that level of intention from your server.
Waiter misquoted wine, offered an Alta Luna Pinot Grig when in reality it was an Alta Luna Sauvignon Blanc. Also, the salmon entree arrived only mildly warm, had to send it back.
Service was good but couldn’t make up for the mediocre food.
It took our server 12 minutes to come to the table and greet us and obtain a drink order. We went the whole time with empty waters and soft drinks and the server never asked the guests drinking alcohol if they would like to try another one. When our entrees came out 4 of the 6 guest had there food and my cousin and I waited over 10 minutes for ours to come out. No communication with the server and us the guests on why we were waiting for so long. We just had to looking around the dining room waiting and wondering where our food was. The manager FINALLY bought our food and had no excuse or explanation on why my friends were nearly done (so there food wouldn’t get cold) and we were just getting our food. Very upset and unsatisfied for the level of dining I was expecting way better service. That was my first and last time dining at in BRIO The woodlands. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Food and service were great. The best carpaccio ever.
This was my first time at BRIO, the food was great and the service was world Class.
On my last visit, the service was unacceptably slow. It took 45 minutes for me to receive my meal. The manager indicated that my entrée had been burned and had to be recooked but offered no compensation for my long wait.
This resturant is one the finest in the Houston metro area. My travels have taken me around the world and this facility ranks up there with some of those great resturants I've visited. The ambience is superb.
I rated this as quiet because we dined outside, where many people may have found it too warm. My friend from Belgium was visiting and she welcomed the heat. We were by the waterway so enjoyed the ambiance outdoors. We were both very happy with our entrees. I always enjoy the food at Brio and they do change their menu so you can always try something new.
Service was slow and inattentive. There were three waiters attending our table at any time - had to request more wine - food as luke warm at best .... had to ask twice for the bill. The restaurant was not business. overpriced , mediocre food .......
Even though my husband's steak was over cooked, the chef took the time to apologize personally and dessert was complimentary!
Service was good, Food arrived quickly (albeit the restaurant was only 1/4 to 1/3 full). The food tasty and presented well.
Some of the tables and carpet seem to be starting to show where in need updating.
I was dissapointed. Expected an excellent fiis an ezoerince, and had neither. Service was average and food was bland. Maybe because it was end of day, but not an excuse.
Although the food and service is good, I was disappointed that of all the appetizers there was only one non-seafood option.
Also, I could not get the drink I requested. I wanted a Screwdriver (Vodka and OJ); they didn't have any OJ!
Parking is terrible. You’re pretty much forced to valet if you have small children or those who have mobility issues, as parking is far and you have to cross and busy road to get to the entrance. Server tried really hard to up sell us to a bottle of wine and a wine I didn’t want. Slow service for a 90% empty place. Price was good but I wouldn’t make it a point to go back. Pure “meh”.
excellent food, good wait service, pleasant atmosphere
Good brunch experience for my wife and myself. We will come back again.
This was my first visit. The service was amazing. All the food that was ordered was delicious. There was quite a selection. Something for everyone. Even the kids menu was impressive. Will definitely be going back.
Birthday meal and went solely for the amazing lasagna but party had a variation of other meals as well and all were stellar
The food was delicious. The place was very cozy and an intimate setting. My boyfriend and I had an awesome time.
The ambiance, noise level, service were all very good, but the food was outstanding. Four at our table share three entrees, and all three were truly 5-star! Well done!
Served mixed drink using whiskey from the well, but charged for top shelf Makers Mark until I brough it to the attention of the waiter. Very unhappy with attempted deception.
We had a group of 7. I ordered the special (red fish). The fish came out last and was well overcooked. Very rubbery and difficult to cut. The manager came by and agreed to take the cost of the meal off our bill. I did finish the 4 shrimp and sides though. When the bill came, the $31 was removed by $7 was added. While I understand you point that I ate 4 shrimp and the sides, it was more of the principle that the main part of the dish was ruined and we were told that the cost of the plate would be removed. Disappointing.
Staff was accommodating and friendly but the food was mediocre Italian at best. Maggiano's is definitely better. Keep in mind for those with seafood allergies they cook, poultry, fries and seafood in the same oil.
Everything was great first time here the only thing my wife and I would suggest is season the food a little bit more could have used some more season or salt but overall great restaurant will come again
As usual, always a good treat. I ordered a salmon salad, abundant but not huge, delicious, good dressing. I was invited to a business lunch, my companions ordered different dishes, all looked good. Kind service, meals were served quickly. I love to seat in the terrace but inside was also comfortable during this time of the year. Tiramisu, creamy, not the Italian original but tasty.
This was a perfect place for 4 longtime friends to meet and catch up.
The server was quite good, attentive, but not overly so that he interrupted our visit.
The food, as always, was fresh and delicious and served in a timely manner.
I never save room for dessert, but they looked delicious.
It was such a great experience! The servers were nothing but nice and the food was amazing. Plus the restaurant just looks great inside and adds to everything. Definitely worth coming back to for date nights
