BRIO Tuscan Grille - Winter Park
Our drinks were empty, had to ask for refills. With three servers and a slow night the service should have been awesome. Good was dry and the pasta had a fun favour. I was not going to complain because it was our anniversary
Poor service average food, Brio has gone downhill it seems. Not what it use to be.
The food was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We had to wait awhile for the food and they were out of lasagna.
When the food was brought to the table it had the “look” that it had been sitting under heat lamps for some time. The sauce on all dishes had a film like covering. The shrimp (3 of our 4 dishes) were all very over cooked. Very disappointing experience. Will not return.
Reservations made week prior, seated outside where it was very humid. Calamari had more peppers than calamari, but they brought another with just the calamari. They did take charge off bill. Food was good, peach sangria good first glass, not the 2nd glass. Ordered wedge salad which never came, but appeared on the bill. It was taken off bill once server made aware. This was Mother’s Day so very busy, understandably. However, food/drink was inconsistent. Used to eat here a lot, but it has gone down in quality
Made reservations for 1:45pm. Had to wait 1 hour to be seated. I understand it was Mother's day and had to be outside instead of inside. Outside was not too bad since it had just rain and it was refreshing. The food was good and waiter was very nice and professional. Love this restaurant and the food. This kids are all their food as well.
We made a reservation at 1pm didn’t get seated until 1:45. The hostess told us we checked in at 1:01 and had to wait. However we spent a couple minutes in Lin waiting to get to the hostess stand. They didn’t handle it well and it was very disappointing. However, our server Eric was awesome and he made up for it.
Horrible food. Very disappointed because we have enjoyed Brio in the past.
i have been going there the past 7 years with a party of 10 for mothers day and never had a problem... first of all we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation and the the whole atmosphere was not the same.. the mens bathroom was dirty, the food was just okay and the worst was hair found in 2 different plates....
the manager was just okay but did not solve the problem.. in my opinion brio is not the same and my group will not go back for mothers day or probably any other time... i guess nothing lasts forever
We had a lovely Mother’s day brunch and the Chicken Marsala was delicious. Our server was John he was the best and made our experience delightful!
Usually it is good but Mother’s Day (or any holiday) isn’t a great day as they were crowded. Service was slow, they forgot my sons meal and it was very rushed.
Amazing in every single way.
We arrived at the time of our reservation. The hostess informed me that they were full and would not be able to seat us for 15-20 minutes but that was ok because the kitchen was even more behind and food times were about 45 minutes. But we could sit by the bar and she would come get us. After 30 minutes at the bar, I went back to the hostess and asked for an update. I was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later we were seated. Once we were seated the delays continued; food, drinks appetizers all took a very long to arrive. Our entrees didn’t arrive at the table until about 10pm....our reservation was at 7:30. Don’t bother making reservations at this restaurant, they are meaningless!
When we arrived for our reservation, we were told they were running behind and there would be await. Hostesses were rude and when I asked how long, I was told “awhile”. Then updated that it was 45 minutes.
Then the food was HORRIBLE!! I’ve eaten at Brio before in other locations and this was almost inedible. Over cooked steak, watery pasta. We were celebrating a birthday and Mother’s Day but we did not even think of staying for dessert.
Very disappointed. I will be writing the manager also
It has been couple years since we have been to Brio. Always was a solid standard. On this night, a Saturday, however, the hostess station was unsupervised and kept backing up. Room was loud as always, and when running smoothly, not a big deal, but when understaffed or looking confused, it is frustrating. Our server was good, and he was very apologetic about the kitchen being backed up. An hour later our average food was presented. No complimentary meal, dessert, drink or anything offered. Too bad we will not be back for a while again, there are many solid standards in our area.
Food took one hour and 30 min to arrive, and could tell two dishes had sat under a heat lamp for a long time. They were dried out on top.
Update: I just checked my bank account and the tip I left was increased by a $1. I know it's only a $1, but it's the principle. I don't know if I'll ever return to this Brio.
It was very hectic when I arrived. I believe there was some confusion between the hostesses about reservations. I checked in and stood off to the side and eventually was seated. Our server took our initial drink order (waters) and then had a 10-top seated next to us. He came back after getting that party situated and eventually took our real drink and appetizer orders. I had to ask for refills for the water. Our food took a while to come out. When the food did come out the portions for the pasta were quite small for the price.
Brio has really gone downhill. The portions were so small and the prices had gone up. Our service was awful and out of our table of 10 two meals had to be sent back and no manager even came by to apologize.
We went to celebrate our daughters graduation from college. Brio has always been one of her favorites. The experience turned out horrible and we all left in a bad mood. Service was terrible and food took forever. We had to flag down another server to inquire about our food. Our server was MIA the entire meal. We wont be back.
We have eaten at Brio’s many times in the past (both Winter Park and Mall at Millenia) and have always found them to be very good. We decided to make a reservation for Mother’s Day on Saturday so that the entire family (party of 9) could attend. We were seated immediately upon arriving and then told several minutes later that we were at the wrong table and needed to move. We told the person who attempted to move us that he would have to take it up with the greeter who seated us and ultimately we were left where we were.
The service was horrible. It took 10-15 minutes to get glasses of water and even longer for lemonade for our mom. The good part was that all of our meals came out together but the food was mediocre at best. The bill was $200 and the quality of the food (no appetizers or dessert and only 1 alcoholic beverage) just didn’t support the cost. We won’t be in a hurry to go back to the Winter Park location again soon.
I love Brio's. The service and food is always on point. It also proved to be a great place for a large family gathering/graduation celebration.
The severs are very attentive.
I have never had bad service or bad food at Brio's. I love the Winter Park Village location.
Definitely 🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐ in my book!
Loved the food, our server, and our experience, will be back!
I love the beef carpaccio appetizer it’s delicious and the happy hour drink menu with a martini 🍸 5.00 is fantastic.
I was served by Mauricio and one more lady just was with him!
They provide to my family an amazing night, meal and energy! Never had received a service like they offer us.
Definetely I´ll back too many times to Brio not just by the meal, I honestely didn´t take attention to the food quality Mauricio and the lady (I so sad, don´t remember her name) make us forget all and just enjoy our time.
Reaaly I want you guys pass to them this survey, they are awesome!
Thank you very much.
Very god service... food was well prepared... which keeps us going back... the floors could be swept more often
Pricey & Noisy!
We had a confirmed reservation but were not seated upon arrival. We were celebrating a UCF graduation.
I had Salmon.
It was good but nothing special.
I had a similar dish in BJ's.
My daughter complained her chicken dish was dry.
Hubby had lasagna. It was delicious. It was a generous portion.
Order this & you'll be happy!
Overall, bad service not good for the $.
I've dined at Brio many times, the service and food quality never fail to impress. We arrived fairly late in the evening, and never got the impression to hurry through our meal. Excellent!
Horrible service and no management supervision. Took 35 minutes for salads to arrive. Salads brought out first. Had to ask for 2 missing soups, which were then brought out cold. Had to request drink refills. Very unprofessional servers. A lot of reaching over patrons. Made us lift and hold salad and soup bowls to deliver entree’s. Never saw a manager, not sure they even had one.
Everything was good
The reason why I wouldn't recommend this place is because it misleading and they food dknt have no taste to it..plus the price is too high for some that is not ready it. On top of that we had wait 20 mins before we got an sever.
We took our family there for an Easter afternoon lunch. The service was very poor. We had reservations and yet many tables around us who didn't have reservations, and were seated after us received their meals in a timely manner. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did arrive it was not good. Many of the items clearly had been sitting under the lamps for quite sometime...it ended up being quite embarrassing as my family had never been to Brio before...I'd been there in the past and had recommended it for our get together. The manager deducted $25 off of a $200+ bill which frankly didn't even cover the tip. Very bad experience in what should have bee. a wonderful afternoon.
You cant go wrong with dining here. Great customer service and ambiance, and the food never disappoints us. Very good overall .
Great Place for Dinning. Excellent Service. Great Food and Menu options.
I wasn't really impressed . Only a few brunch items to choose from that couldn't be customized.
Average food and service. Made a reservation for my mother's 85th birthday. They brought a scoop of gelato, but nothing special.
Brio is our “go to” place. We carry out often. We like the food variety and quality. But Saturday night we met friends there. We were a table outside ( because it is quiet and warm...by contrast to inside). Again our food was good. But the service was below poor. Took forever to get a drink...or a refill. And to get the food. It was not crowded. So there must be a staffing issue. So disappointing.
Everything was wonderful! A great happy hour spot.
We have loved the food and the service at Brio Tuscan Grill for years. But our last visit was extremely disappointing. The Wedge Salad was good. But everyone in our party (4 of us) said there entrees were blah. The Pasta Brio was dry and tasteless. The Salmon was over-cooked. We couldn’t help noticing that the restaurant was only about half full. In the past, the place was always extremely busy. In fact, if you did not have a reservation, you would go somewhere else. We’re seriously hoping it was an off-night and that our experience won’t happen again.
