I love the atmosphere at Brio ~ it's elegant and yet casual. I could do without the TV in the corner, but maybe people have just gotten used to that. The patio is lovely, but the interior is really nice as well. It is a perfect spot for an upscale business lunch, a ladies' night out, a celebration, or a date. The food is delicious too ~ especially the molten lava cake and the custard. Yummmmmmy!

With the change in menu, we decided to go to Brio. Generally the dinner was fine. However, the attention to detail that one might expect (like silverware and napkins on the table) was lacking. The server responded promptly when it was brought to his attention, but it doesn't seem like something one should have to do in certain a bit of an upscale restaurant.

We waited approx 10 min to get acknowledged! Coffee not ready. Asked twice for water. Asked for salt pepper to be put on table. Food came, no utensils. Brought bread for 5, 2 pats of butter: asked for more. Two orders of egg Benedict not hot, warm-cool. Either waiter was very busy, or didn’t care!!
Have visited several times before, service & food much better!!

This was the worst single dining experience I have ever had. Drinks took 45 minutes to arrive and the waitress was over booked on the patio. We asked for the bill multiple times and it still took 30 minutes to receive. The experience was poor, the service was horrible, especially for a high end chain like Brio. I will never dine there again.

I was looking forward to a dinner at Brio's last Saturday. Sadly, the entire experience was poor. That is not what I have seen in the past. The restaurant was too loud, the food was sub-par, lamb chops were too fatty, salmon portion was very small, sauteed spinach was awful. What a disappointment. The only saving grace was the wine. Even the bread basket was smaller. The prices, however, were still high.

You would think that a nice place like this would be able to get my steak medium well but my wife's beef was medium and so was my filet. Otherwise it was nice place and good service.

We had the worst experience at Brio today! We arrived at the restaurant at 12:30 without a reservation and there were lots of empty tables. We were told we had to wait 20/25 minutes because we didn’t have a reservation. So I made the reservation for 12:45 ( it was 12:40) but the manager told us we would have to wait for the other people to be seated first, since our reservation was made on Open Table and other people made reservations earlier than we did (???) There were no other people waiting and there were many empty tables. We ended up leaving because the manager was rude and seemed not to care that we have been good clients for over 10 years. We ended up having lunch at Bishops Post and it was great. We made the reservation through Open Table and were seated when we arrived there.

Took 45 minutes to get our lunches and when they arrived two of the six orders were incorrect. Very disorganized staff... they didn’t seem prepared for the lunch crowd.

Our latest visit to Brio was very disappointing and we won't be back. Service was very slow. We waited almost 25 mins to get our lunch entrees while the restaurant was not very busy. The salads had virtually no dressing and the lunch sized pasta was so small we thought it was a joke.

I never miss going to Brio when I am in St. Louis. The food is outstanding, the Lobster Bisque is amazing. The food portions are quite large. I always take home a box for lunch. The staff is well trained, personable and knows the menu. I would highly recommend Brio.

We have always loved Brio in the past. We haven’t been there in awhile so we decided to go for Mother’s day. Terrible idea. The service was awful. I ordered a salad and it was so soggy, I couldn’t stomach eating it. We passed on dessert because for my salad and soup, and the kids buttered spaghetti and chicken tenders, we had already been sitting there for an hour and 45 minutes. So disappointed.

We had an early Mother's day dinner, the service was the worst we ever had at Brio. I don't think she had many tables, but I tried to find her for 10 minutes, finally made eye contact and she went to get our food. It was obvious it had been sitting under the lights for a while. My husband's steak was dried out, mine was lukewarm and the other dinner was lukewarm to. Never came to refill water or check on us. Not up to Brio standards, I will definitely run if seated at her table.

Always enjoy the brunch on the weekend,
However the fingerling potatoes are not
Consistently enjoyable as they dry out easily and become hardened. The mood of the restaurant is usually one of calmness which is so appreciated with attentive friendly servers to make for a pleasant meal!!

I was not happy with my service or food on this visit. I've been before and received much better service. The waiter was not interested in helping to make it a pleasant experience. When we asked him to describe what was included in a particular dish, he was short and seemed very disinterested. He took a couple of our plates before we were actually finished. As he grabbed for mine and actually touched my plate, I told him I wasn't done.

The food was excellent but we did have to send 2 meals back because the salmon was burnt and the medium lamb chops were well done. By the time they received their meals, everyone else was finished eating. They ate a little and took the rest home. I rated my experience as excellent because overall everything went well. I've eaten here lots of times and my experience is always very good.

Server was slow and inefficient—took 5-10 min to bring water another 5 min to get our drink order another 10 min to bring bread. Didn’t bring silverware until our food was served. Unimpressive.

Bríos is my favorite Restaurant, I love their food, the atmosphere but unfortunately it gets very noisy especially at certain hours which makes it unpleasant if one goes with a few other people. It is almost impossible to carry a calm conversation. Despite of it I and my friends keep returning, hoping next time it will be better.
Please let’s hope this inconvenience can improve. Other than this it is a 5 Restaurant!!!

The food was acceptable tho not what we remembered from previous visits.
Given that the restaurant was basically empty at 2:00 pm, the service was amazingly slow.
The wait person was nice but never checked about how our food was, and never acknowledged her slow service .

Overall it’s excellent. However, we were seated at a table just in front of the waiters’ registers and the kitchen. So there were a lot more traffic. While it was only a father and daughter date, it could have been better.

We have been to Brio Tuscan Grille many times and been pleased with the food and service. Tonight I was embarrassed to have taken my family there for dinner. The service was abhorrent with excessive wait times throughout the evening. When the wine was finally brought to the table the waitress carried the bottle under her armpit so she could hold the four wine glasses in her hands. Two of the entrees had to be sent back to the kitchen because they were cold, one other enter was removed from the bill, and the others were not up to the usual standards. Dishes were not removed from the table in a timely manner. Over two and a half hours from sitting down to getting our check.

The restaurant was busy but our reservations were honored and we were seated immediately. The server, Brandy, was friendly and efficient. The food was quite good. We both had the two course luncheon special. Both the lobster bisque and the minestrone were well prepared. Both pastas were done correctly. The portions were somewhat small but adequate. We shall definitely return.

Our lunch date with a very special older friend was quite disappointing. We made reservations a couple of weeks in advance, and when I arrived, the hostess couldn't find my reservation. I told her we were a party of three, awaiting the arrival of my friend, unless she had already arrived. I also specifically asked for a quiet spot because my friend has a hearing deficit. We were initially seated at a table right in the middle of the room. At my second request, we moved to a booth. I described to the hostess my friend who might already be there, and WAS, in fact, seated already, but the hostess made no attempt to help us connect. Only when I retrieved my phone from the car and contacted her did I discover she was already there and had been waiting for us!

Service was continually problematic. Requested water with no ice came loaded with ice. Coffee was served sloppily with spills all over the outside of the cup. Server interjected herself into our conversation more than once. Bread refill was offered, but never came.

All in all, a really unpleasant experience. We will NOT return to this restaurant.

Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The place seemed to be unorganized but very busy. Service was ok, a little slow. Food was great!
