BRIO Tuscan Grille - St. Louis - Frontenac
Birthday dinner - everything was set for 15 of us to dine. Everything was prompt and delicious!
Food is always consistently good. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Wait staff is always friendly even when they are busy.
very small 10o/z Ribeye not happy why did they take the Strip off ? !!!!! that was a good cut of meat !!
Good food good service
We had been to Brio's before and were looking forward to going back. We found it to be way too noisy for the four of us to visit. My shrimp dish was not-so-hot - the shrimp was overcooked and the pasta was very disappointing - too 'nothing' and way too much of it! And I had very little sauce. So disappointing.
Love this place. We went out with friends and all loved whatever we ordered. They are great at adapting to any dietary restrictions as well. Can't wait to go back.
The food was so delicious everything was Fresh, our experience was Great! Plus our waitress Lensie was a sweetheart.
Brio just felt very welcoming. Beautiful decor, outstanding food and selection. Our server was very pleasant and upbeat and very helpful detailing the daily special and making an excellent recommendation on a salad dressing choice. I would go again in a minute.
The food is delicious. I'm so glad that they brought back Grilled Salmon Fresca - it was amazing as always. My son ate the spaghetti bolognese and thought it was delicious. My husband ate another pasta dish, the name of which escapes me, but it was also great. I've never been disappointed at Brio.
Maitre D was great and our server also. Food was tasty and atmosphere busy and friendly. All in all a nice place to spend a Sat night!
I know you could do something about the noise if you really tried. It's deafening, but then, you know that.
We have always enjoyed our meals..service is always excelient..food was great way more than expected and way more than I could finish..but..that's a good thing always have a second meal the next day. Brio is our go to place ..we entertain customers to dinner at Brio so to me that says a lot.
Had a wonderful dining experience for lunch today!! The chocolate lava cake is our favorite! Can't wait to return!
My favorite spot to grab late lunch! Always busy so it's best to make a reservation. Absolutely love the carpaccio it's one of the best in stl!! Always amazing service!
I have never seen lemon chicken dipped in egg batter.....that should be listed on the menu. Also, whatever it was that was on the beef medallions should be listed. It was awful!
Reserved table and ut was ready on time
Crab cake was great
Wine by the glass. They advertise a 6 oz. And a 9 oz pour. I got both and amount Iin glass was the same and I dont think it was even a 6 oz pour
Seafood pasta nice amount if seafood but unadvertised pepper flakes added to the cream sauce and a lot
Bolognese some flavorless ground beef
Server (not the waitress) placed it on the table and was gone . No question if we wanted cheese on to or anything....
Also it's a noisy place
Not going back
Enjoyed our recent dinner at Brio. The server was delightful and was definately engaged in
doing her job in a very professional manner. Would definately recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful room and food was delicious.
This is a tale of two cites... My friends had salmon and raved about how great it was. I went for the lasagna and was greatly disappointed. It hard to mess up lasagna but, it was mostly cotta cheese and very little meat or meat sauce. If you go, do not order or you will be disappointed. And there are no taste of wines if you think about ordering it for dinner. Select and pray it is good. Will try another restaurant as I go out to often and there are too many choices to have an average experience in this area.
Would recommend based on food. Was excellent presentation. Brio was understaffed. Several times I had to wave down help for our table. My Manhattan was diluted due to tha long time it sat on the bar and I would have not gotten it at that late time if I had not asked for aid from another server. Aid was requested several times. Very disappointing.
It was a disgrace. For 18.00, I got some lettuce, burnt meat and a few pecans after sending first plate back. Another customer had to send flatbread back because it was cold. The three patrons had to eat separately. Service was an abomination and we told our server who kept telling us it was so busy. We arrived at noon and maybe a quarter of tables were seated. We should have left after first meal returned and waited 15 minutes for a warm replacement salad. Then more time for a warm flatbread. I certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone to visit. As a matter of fact, we’re taking a large group to Bricktop next weekend.
Overall good, but service is not as good as it used to be. Been going to Brio for over 10 years. The modern Italian cuisine is our favorite.
Everything was perfect. Our server, Peter, was great.
Food was very good. Our waiter was awesome.
new menu changes are bad
The food was beyond average. It looks very nice from the outside so my family thought it would be a nice l place to get dinner. We were seated and weren’t spoken to for 20-30 min, not even offered water. There is not enough staff working and it’s clear they don’t care about there jobs. Then the food..... I was soo excited for homemade, Italian pasta, what I ended up eating was very regular pasta I can make at home. I got the chicken pesto, it was oiled down pasta with some green bits. My entire tables food was clear it was just reheated and not freshly made which you would assume waiting for 40-50 min after ordering. Overall, save your time and money, and go to Olive Garden or anywhere else, or EAT AT HOME! We ended up spending $110 for 3 adults to eat 3 entree that were extremely subpar!!!!!
We arrived for our 6:45 was seated, our server brought a basket of bread which the four of us ate, when we asked for more bread we were told you were out. When my companion ordered lamb chops he was informed you were out which was very disappointing. The food was okay but my salmon was overcooked and dry. Food took a very long time to come out even tho the restaurant wasn't that full. We then ordered dessert that again took a very long time to come. Our server was excellent and kept apologizing for not being such a poor performance from the kitchen. My companion did speak to the manager on duty but didn't feel he much cared. We are not sure we want to dine here again.
Our server, Sophia was outstanding!
It’s an ok place. Took a good wh8le to get bread to my table. Then it took awhile to get our orders in.
My Salmon was excellent. I couldn’t eat it all and asked for a to go box.
When it was returned to me and I got home I realized the server gave me someone’s lasagna. I was so disappointed because I was looking forward to my left overs.
always love this place, its our go to place anytime we want to go out for a special dinner or occasion will family or friends. great atmosphere and great food.
Service was not good. Waitress seemed stressed as she was trying to serve to many tables.we had a party of three for lunch but only had utensils for two asked twice before receiving them. Drink order of water and ice tea did not arrive for several minutes. The lobster bisque for one guest was warm at best. Usually when dining here we have good service and food is served hot.
We have been to Bio’s many times. With a newer menu, the portions were much smaller. We had to ask for bread and what were the specials. My husband was still hungry. We were disappointed in our dinner experience.
Service was excellent, food was great but a little to rich fore me. I would totally recommend you check this place out.
Ran out of food items by 7pm on a Saturday night. Didn’t tell the wait staff so they weren’t aware. Once we were informed our item was unavailable our next choice we were told was going to take at least 25 minutes to cook (the menu said nothing about this). Once the waitress was aware we were unhappy she basically never came back so the Manager Sara came over to take our order and proceeded to be somewhat sarcastic about the lack of menu items and blamed it on Valentines Day, which was 3 days prior. Her attitude was very cavalier and unprofessional. Food was average and they did try to comp a dessert but we were not in the mood after everything. Would not go back or recommend this location.
Food was fine. Server could have been more customer friendly. Wine prices far too high compared to what you can buy the same bottle retail. Glass prices at 6oz and 9 oz pours outrageous.
Great meal and good service. It was a very good experience
The service was rushed, calamari was barely warm and did not taste fresh. Drinks that were ordered first did not arrive until halfway through dinner.
What a beautiful Valentines Day experience!
The food! The setting! The service!
Everything about Brio was outstanding. We got right in when our reservation was set, our server was great. The bread and food was wonderful and everything came out promptly and perfectly prepared. Couldn't ask for any more.
Very good meal. Great server and the best ever Old Fashion
