BRIO Tuscan Grille - Scottsdale - Scottsdale Quarters
We are on the Northwest corner of the Scottsdale Quarter Mall. We have a “Live Music” Thursday Nights from 530pm to 9pm. We have Happy Hour Monday through Friday 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Scottsdale Quarter is also home to “IPIC Theaters.” We are walking distance to the Kierland Westin Resort and Spa which offers a number of amenities to include some great golf. We are located 19 miles from Arizona State University.
Bar Service was slow and got drinks wrong three times in a row .... table service seemed confused and disjointed ... ordered salads that didn't come until after the entree was served ... valet parking came to the table and insisted on being paid before we were finished dining, probably so they could go home early ...
We used to like this restaurant, but will think again before we return.
We had a wonderful dining experience! I would recommend to a friend.
Brio is a great place for a romantic dinner and walk around the Quarter. We really enjoyed our dining experience.
Ambiance was good, service was great! Food was just okay. About half way through dinner got a strong odor of dirty rag smell, assuming coming from kitchen cleaning. Definitely not appetizing.
BRIO continues to be an outstanding favorite despite aggressive competition for our lunch time dollar!
BRIO always delivers an excellent culinary experience.
Great happy hour selection in the bar and nice atmosphere, too. Had dinner in the restaurant afterwards and it was also great.
The food is absolutely delicious and the service was very good. I’ll be back!
I always order beef carpaccio and the meat is usually flawless, very thin and tender. This time around the meat seemed thicker, and too tough to chew. It wasn’t smooth, looked like another cut of beef and it had way too many veins which made it very hard to chew and swallow. I left half my plate and I usually eat it all, just couldn’t chew anymore.
We also ordered 2 bowls of soup and waiter brought us 2 cups, insisted it was bowls, and we had to tell him it was the wrong size once more, and he finally brought another 2 cups of soup to make up for it.
Overall, not the best and usual pleasant dining experience we have had.
Great! Comfy but fun.
Service is usually good here but tonight it was off. We had a server who told us it was the third night she was pretty inexperienced. Didn’t know the menu and couldn’t answer questions. We had to track her down for drink refills and other requests. And then it seemed she forgot to come back with them. I think this girl could have used a week or so of shadowing an experienced server before putting her on the floor by herself.
Wife & I met my Son here to celebrate Mother's Day. Valet parking...nice!! Seated right away...we had reservations. Hostess was sweet. Great table. I am sure we had the best server. Appetizer & entrees were perfect!! We'll be back!!!
Food was wonderful and the service fantastic. Next time, we will ask to not be seated by the kitchen. It was difficult to have conversation across the table because of the clanging plates.
Went to dinner there at 5 pm with reservations and it was not crowded their at all for being Mother's Day. Service was great and the food was great. Will be going there again.
Party of 11 on Mother's Day with a reservation. Waiting 1:15 for food. Manager came over and said I on its way. I think they for forgotten to place our order. They did not comp our apps or kids meals for the wait. Won't be back. Also, they did not igknowledge Mother's day. We have been to restaurants that have.
Very disappointing. The lobster bisque was served barely warm which is so dangerous. Soup has to be served a certain temperature to kill any food born bacteria. The Caprese salad had over ripe mushy tomatoes. The lemon cheesecake was tasty, until I bit into a piece of plastic. It looked like the tip of a piping bag used for the whipped cream. Will not go back there!!
Good, not excellent food. It was Mother’s Day so busy. The waiter was attentive and friendly but there was time between courses, understandable. It was a rather noisy which was difficult for the older members of our party. All in all, it was a good experience at a fair enough price.
We'd been to HH at Brio and loved it. Decided to have lunch there on Mother's Day, so maybe busier than normal. That's probably why server got two orders mixed up. Food was ok.
We have fined in this restaurant for years. Sadly Mother's Day was an absolute disaster. Not sure if they were on limited staff or what was going on. The food was mediocre at best, which was surprising. We didn't have a server for 15 minutes when we first arrived. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food. Very disappointing and won't be returning.
The food was mediocre. I got the chicken limone and it was coated in egg.
Mother’s Day brunch..Excellent !
We would definitely recommend!! We made a reservation beforehand and were seated within 5 minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in recommending menu items. Our mixed drinks were very good. We had the Sangria Rose, Raspberry Mojito, and the Peach Bellini. The table gets warm bread as well which was excellent. The waiter had recommended the lasagna, and there were definitely no complaints! We also ordered the Fresca Salmon, Chicken Rogatoni, Chicken Marsala, and Spaghetti Bolognese, and they were all excellent! Definitely somewhere I’m keeping on the list to go back to!
We went to Brio for a birthday dinner, the day before Mother's Day. They were very busy. Our waitress was friendly, but so busy that she was very rushed. She would just quickly set things down at our table as she's running off to the next table. She wasn't the most attentive to our table. She brought us the bill without even asking if we wanted to see the dessert menu-so we felt very rushed.
The food was good and there was a lot of different choices.
I think that there a so many different restaurant choices out there, that I'm not sure I would purposely pick Brio out again to dine at.
The experience was just kind of "meh".
Took my daughter here with her friends for a 15th Birthday Party. Perfect atmosphere - nice without being pretentious.
Waiter not organized and forgetful
We have eaten at Brio before but not for a while. Since the last time we were there, it feels like the quality has gone down. I had the chicken line, which I have had before, and it was a bit rubbery and not super hot when they served it. The chocolate cake was good but not great.
We had brunch. The food was really Good and very inexpensive for everything we had.
Seriously..... Brio has gone way downhill.
I ordered fried calamari 1/2 of it was fried peppers... cheap.
I ordered chocolate cake dessert and it was basically a previously frozen circle of molten lava cake that you would buy at the supermarket.... cheap.
At least 8 people came by and tried to take our plates when we were still eating , weird considering the restaurant was not even half full...
I ordered a shrimp entree and I only ate half of it, and the waiter put it in a unsealed styrofoam box that wound up leaking oil all over my pants when I got in my car.
What the heck happened to this restaurant?
Good was a little slow coming out of the kitchen. Good was great once we got it!
Have eaten here each time we visit Scottsdale, but it was a letdown. No activity inside the restaurant (most were seated outside) and the food was just average. We did get excellent service though.
Devin was an excellent waiter
Food delish for Sunday Brunch
Food was cold.
Excellent service and delicious food
The service was amazing at Brio. From the waitstaff to the chef, these people made our experience truly remarkable.
My sister's favorite restaurant, she loves the lamb chops. I love it all!
Most excellence for a chain
Ordered shrimp and lobster fettucini. Lobster tasted like it had been frozen and defrosted for several days. Sent it back. Waiter never appeared to ask how the dish was. We flagged someone else down who said he would bring us back the menu, he never did. Finally, our waiter came back and brought us another menu. He suggested lasagne, which was very good. Restaurant wa almost empty, but very little attention paid to customers, generally.
Too many better restaurants in the immediate vicinity. This was our second attempt at Brio and it was worse than the first. They have now twice brought entrees in the middle of the appetizers (and the place was not crowded). Waiter was barely available. Ordered shrimp and lobster over linguine and received the plate with no lobster - they did immediately make a second plate, but the lobster was still cold in the middle. We will never eat here again - way too many better choices in Scottsdale Common and Quarter.
Our entrees were very tasty and plentiful in size; chocolate cake dessert the best!! Frequently go to Brio's in both Arizona and Illinois and have always had a very good experience.
The service was so slow, the food was a little cold, and the place was too loud. The kitchen staff were too loud dropping out rays and dishes , very uncomfortable noises!!! I was disappointed !!
It was a very good experience, food was very good and service also.
