BRIO Tuscan Grille - Raleigh - Crabtree
Jacob took care of us very nicely and PROFESSIONALLY! Not only was he attentive, he was also courteous and served us properly every step of the way. We always like going to BRIO, it is a price performer with excellent menu and tasteful cuisine.
Overall food and service was ok but reservation time wasn't kept. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time.
The food was great!
very noisy ,had hard time hearing wait staff--food excellent
Great food and atmosphere for a business lunch with ample room for discussion.
Don't go on a holiday. We had a reservation for 715 and were not seated until almost 8 o'clock. They seemed very unorganized and understaffed. The food was mediocre not our typical experience. We will be back we will just avoid holidays.
Brio let me down this visit. We had reservations at 6:45pm for Mother's day. We arrived on time and were told that they were running 20-25 minutes late on reservations. Not ideal but since it was Mother's Day, understandable. What was not okay was having to wait an hour past our reservation time. Once we got to our table we had no silverware, plates, napkins or anything. It took even longer to get our server to acknowledge us and offer us water. We received a basket of bread but still no plates, napkins or silverware. We proceeded with ordering drinks and dinner but all aspects of such were extremely slow. However, I can't really blame our waiter as he seemed to be trying the best he could to keep all of his tables happy. The food was good but by the time we received it, everyone was frustrated and wishing we had selected a different place to spend Mother's Day together. It was evident that they were either short staffed, had booked reservations too close together or were poorly managed that day. Whatever the reason, we will think twice before returning. Sad to say.
Our reservation was for 6:30. We were not seated until 7:30. Hostess was rude. Food tasted like it had been sitting under the warmer. Really terrible experience. We’ll never go back.
Had to wait 45 minutes for our table with a reservation
Food took very long
This restaurant is one of my mother's favorite places to go, so I made a reservation for our family for Mother's Day. We arrived and were seated at our reserved time. It was very busy in the restaurant and every table seemed to be a large party. We ordered our drinks and within 20 minutes, placed our food order. Having been in the service industry, I knew we would have a longer service time. I also sensed that management had way overbooked the reservations. Our salads and soup arrived in about 15 minutes. It took over an entire hour after our salads arrived for our food to arrive! Tables around us, that had been seated after us, ate and left. The waiter apologized only after we questioned if he had ordered our meal. When our meal arrived about an hour and 1/2 after we placed the order, my brother's Ravioli had NO sauce on it. It took another 10 minutes and two waiters to bring it. My pasta was a small portion and mediocre at best. Everything else was okay, not great. We voiced our dissatisfaction to our waiter but we never had a visit from a manager to apologize or explain anything. My brother's meal was comped by the waiter, but we were not happy campers. My husband asked to speak to a manager and when she came, she started to blame the waiter for not explaining things to us! We informed her that it seemed to be the kitchen and front of the house booking that caused the issues. She offers to comp something but wasn't clear what. She took our credit cards and disappears for another 20 minutes! Apparently she couldn't do the comp easily and ended up with a convoluted way of taking one dish three times. It was crazy and unfortunate experience. In my opinion, they overbooked and couldn't manage the volume. The manager was unprofessional by trying to place blame on the server. One other complaint we had was that to be seated or to go to the restroom, customers have to walk directly through the server service station. Employees are plating food, making drinks,
We celebrated Mother's Day and enjoyed dining at Brio's. The only disappointment was that they removed bruschetta from the menu.
Definitely felt like I was eating a lasagna that was previously frozen and the drinks weren’t that good either.
it took us 2.5 hours to get our food. my food was cold, the noddles were hard & bland. my dad had to wait an extra 30mins (after the 2.5 hours) for his food because his order was never put in. the waiter was rude & the manager was as well. will not be returning
Though I don’t remember my servers name he was perfect! Food great as always! Last I was there was junior prom over 6 years ago and that food was good then and is good now!
Amazing service and food!!!! Would definitely go back!
The food was excellent although I didn't like the bread/crackers. I would like to visit again on a regular day when it's not so crowded. Service was slow and it was extremely noisy with all the people there for Mother's Day.
Great atmosphere, good food, waiter was good. However, I believe the Chefs forgot our food as the waiter had to come to apologize for the delay in food.
food and table service very good. even with reservations we had a 25 minute wait which was difficult with a toddler. appreciate that it was Mothers Day and it was extremely busy..
Brio is a favorite of our family for special occasions and a fun lunch every now and then.
Great food! Loved the variety of the menu and the food came out fairly quickly! Server was attentive and we enjoyed our meal.
We dine at Brio in Cherokee casino and it is wonderful. The Brio at Crabtree was a horrible experience. Service was poor, waiter did not return to table to check on us, very noisy, staff was seen cutting bread and eating it.
The waiter was not helpful and seem to be tried or stressed. The food was good except the chicken and spaghetti dish not enough sauce and the chicken was over cooked.
We were very happy with our Mother’s Day meal! All 3 generations were pleased.
Great Mother’s Day lunch at Brio! Table was ready and waiting when we arrived. Staff was attentive to special needs with mom’s service dog. Food is always delicious! We’ll be back
We love Brio. It is one of our favorite restaurants. Although we've normally had a wonderful experience each time we go, this Mother's Day weekend was busy and our server was slow. Didn't have our requested table at the window setup prior to coming in, and time in between table approaches took forever. Only one refill of waters and rarely checked-in. Again, it was busy, but there were dozens of servers working the floor and it seemed chaotic. The noise level has gotten worse. Maybe that is a reason why it seemed longer than usual. Quality of the food remains good, but our food was slightly warm this time. Just wasn't the best for us.
Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is fabulous.
We have been to BRIO on Mother’s Day for about the last 10 years and it has always been great... on both service and food. This Sunday was awful, food terrible and order wrong. Our server was preoccupied and inattentive overall was a bad experience. We will not be returning.
It was nice to go there for Mother's day brunch. They had several brunch items and offered their regular menu. The staff was friendly. The food was good but nothing special, very similar to other mainstream/chain Italian restaurants. There was enough food for sure, but for the prices I felt the serving sizes could have been larger. No one had leftover food. I always think it's good for people to try for themselves, I'm glad I went but I'm not sure how often it will be in our "out for dinner" rotation.
First time there and it was awesome. Our server , ( though sadly can’t remember his name) was fantastic. Food was excellent, drinks superb. We had our twin 6 year olds with us and they were on point w/ accommodation. ( I had heard it wasn’t kid friendly- I found that to be very false). 5 star all the way.
We enjoyed our brunch at BRIO for Mother’s Day. Great service and food.
Wildly busy (Prom) Saturday night, but things went smoothly, food was really good, and service was friendly. Highly recommend.
Service was not good. But I would recommend the food.
We did enjoy the food at Brio. We recommend reservations, because as it is part of Crabtree mall, there are many walk-ins.
The service was slow, but admittedly it was also very busy due to it being Mother's Day Weekend and Sanderson's prom night.
Wonderful experience at an awesome place!!!
We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were told we would have to wait. As we were waiting others came in ( with no reservation) who were immediately seated. Why make a reservation if others with no reservation are going to be seated before you?
Overall the food is good, but the restaurant is so loud it makes conversation difficult. Also, we had a reservation, but the table wasn't set up. People kept saying "we'll have to get your table set". It's a good restaurant, but not great for the money in our opinion.
Worst meal ever at Brio, after waiting for 40 minutes for the food to come for lunch, had to get a manager and she did the right thing and comped the lunch. First bad service experience at this Brio.
My wife and I always enjoy Brio. We also enjoy the outside dinning. We especially like the pasta and salads. My wife likes the chopped salad and we often drop by to pick up a take out salad for dinner. The wait staff is pleasant and helpful. However, we did not like when Brio removed their pork chops from the menu; they were great and a great value. We frequently recommend Brio to our friends. We also like being able to book seats on Open Table.
Best Meat Lasagna in Raleigh, the service was excellent, waitress offered multiple savings opportunities
BRIO just was not what we expected given the prices. Our entire party agreed that Olive Garden and Bocci offer more ambience,as well as larger portions. The salads were pretty skimpy, and the lovely bread they offered did not come with olive oil as we were customer to. Lots of room for improvement.
