BRIO Tuscan Grille - Raleigh - Crabtree
Very good food and service. Rather loud .
Overall a good experience. My wife and I both got salmon, hers was a bit undercooked but still good.
We had a great dining experience last Wednesday night. Brittany was our server and she was AMAZING!! Her recommendations for food choices were on point! Definitely will be back and ask for her station!
Cocktails were excellent. We were offered a chocolate martini that was not on the menu, and it was superb! My only complaint is that I paid for broccolini and was given frozen broccoli. My filet was delicious, but I could have paid much less at any chain. My date’s chicken was also questionable, as one piece was quite rubbery. Other than that, it was great time.
The service was great. The staff was accommodating. It was a nice experience for a birthday celebration.
we eat at Brio often. This night everything seemed slower. ~2 hrs for meal start to finish and they weren't overly busy...but we shall return///We don't like to be rushed or to wait, but this time it seemed like we waited too much
My wife and I had not been to BRIO in a while and wanted to try it again. She was leaving overseas for work during her birthday, so this would be an early birthday dinner for my wife. We were promptly seated. The waitress took our drink order shortly after being seated. When the waitress came back with our drinks we enjoyed the interaction and suggestions for the entree. Granted, the restaurant was not busy, but still, we appreciated the pleasant attitude. I asked if I could replace sweet potatoes for asparagus. I was told, "of course". That too was a very nice surprise. We placed our orders and waited a little longer than we expected to be served, but it was worth the wait. The Salmon was cooked to perfection. My wife's pasta was cooked to the texture she requested. My wife's pet-peeve is having drinks topped off. Our waitress did not disappoint my wife, and kept her glass of soda filled. I had a new glass of unsweet tea before the other was empty. As the restaurant filled, our service slowed a little, but not too much.
The only disappointment is personal to me. I may have been confused with another restaurant very close to BRIO, but since I noted it was a Birthday dinner for my wife I expected the front desk to wish her a Happy Birthday. I expected the manager to stop by as well. My expectations were not fulfilled in either respect. My wife said it was okay, my expectations for pleasantries was too high. She may be right.
Overall, this was a very nice dinner with excellent food.
I’ve been to BRIO twice and both times it was amazing! The service, the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, it’s all wonderful! Great experience!
Dinner here seems better than the lunch, in terms of quality.
Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the portions were fairly nice.
Not an upscale dining experience, but the prices are fair.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Delicious food, outstanding service and great atmosphere.
Would suggest dinner is better ! Lunch items were just average ... nothing special. We ate outside, which is nice, but the service was below average. We could never find our server.. and when he was there, he was very curt...., too busy maybe ??. Would go to many other nicer places for lunch next time.
On a trip with family
Waited over 15 min for order to be taken. Waited over 55 min for food to arrive. We were among first three tables seated for the day so it wasn’t that there was too much business and only two members of our party ordered food that required cooking /prep right away. Others were salad and soup.
Food is good, but for the price paid it diminishes the value. Service is usually attentive.
My friend and I have girl's night out at Brio 3 times a year. This time was not the best. Sadly, she'll be moving to another state soon & it may have been our last time for quite awhile.
We both asked to sample the house red. The waitress brought us 1 glass/sample. I love my friend but don't care to share out of the same glass after her being sick. The waitress said she asked for 2 but the bartender only gave her 1?
We settled on another kind of wine & the waitress talked us into a bottle because it would be cheaper, we could split the cost, and we could recork the extra. After the initial pour & us being almost done with the first glass, she finished off the bottle in our glasses (very large pours) & took the bottle away...so we could not recork.
I tried a new dish, the Spaghetti Pesto because my all time fave of the mushroom ravioli stopped using the champagne butter sauce, so it's not as amazing. The spaghetti pesto had good flavor but the noodles were well undercooked, stiff and not even hot, just warm. I took the rest home to reheat and add some water when doing so. My friend got the chicken caprese and not was she expected at all. There were no tomatoes or cheese, just a sauce on the chicken. She had requested veggies instead of pasta, so the waitress said the cheese and tomato only come with the pasta side with the chicken.
We finally presented our coupons from Brio rewards for our separate checks and were told we couldn't. It clearly stated not on alcohol and per check. The waitress, I guess, figured it out or asked a manager but we were able to get it.
We have been coming 3-4 times a year for many years and Brio was our spot. But this was by far one of our least favorable times there.
One of my favorite restaurants. Wish that there was one in Durham
I asked for sour cream and the server said no we don't; which I knew they had as I had it before. Informed celebrating a birthday who I was with...NOTHING from server..no acknowledgement! Don't question the customer when the customer inform the coffee is cold; awkward conversation! She eventually brought a fresh hot cup of coffee. Thanks
Waiter kept forgetting to bring the appetizer.
$18 for a salad is a bit much.
Otherwise food is always good.
The food came out rather quickly as did the soup appetizer, however both were good. I would say as far as price, I have had better a Italian food and would probably recommend somewhere else that I knew before I would recommend Brio. The service though, was fantastic.
Great meal and service!
Food average. Good service. We had a $20 coupon but restaurant only credited $14.
Chicken Limone was delicious, Cacio Pepe was not traditional Italian but good none the less. Service was excellent and great ambiance would definitely recommend.
Celebrated birthday. Redeemed birthday reward with family and friends. Great food! Good service! Calm atmosphere!
Not your fault, but was sitting in booth next to one with a small child jumping and pounding on back of booth throughout meal very unpleasant. Suggest families with small children at a table where they would affect other diners less.
Came here for my step mother’s birthday dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. It was a great meal especially for a venue that was kid friendly.
Worst dining experience ever, waited over 30 minutes for our food the pasta Alfredo looked like a ball of goo and was barely warm, served on an ice cold plate, friends salmon was dry and cold, manager blamed it on the party of 30 before us. I would not send my worst enemy there to eat. Oh and btw we were on a return on complaint...
Lasagne tasty but not enough meat and too rich for my taste. Shrimp & Lobster pasta in exceptionally delicious sauce, however would prefer a bit more lobster and shrimp slightly caramelized. Ricotta cheesecake really delicious.
Service was slow and not that busy when we dined there this week.
Well we went in late Sunday night, our food took long, my pasta was cold had to send it back my husband sz of roasted potatoes was sooo small we had to ask if they ran out of potatoes they brought him another side and that was three pcs of potatoes $6 was deducted from our bill but it was laughable we used to lobe Brio hope it was a fluke...
We brought our 88 year old father for Sunday lunch. We are frequent customers to Brio’s. In both Raleigh and Charlotte. It was an off day for service and food. The restaurant did not appear busier than normal. Pasta was not Al Dante it simply was not cooked. Food timing extremely slow between salads and Entree. Waiter apologized twice for delays in bread, food, refills etc. Having said that the lamb chop entree was delicious and cooked to perfection. The waiter delivered our check without asking if we wanted dessert and coffe ( we did).
The french toast at brunch was amazing! Prices for brunch are more reasonable than other mealtimes - definitely worthwhile during the weekend. The wait time for my friend and I's food was a little long, but they may have been because there was a BOGO brunch special happening at the time. It's a really cute place - perfect for a date or for a nice gathering with friends.
My friends and I went to Brio to try their BOGO brunch special this past Sunday. The food was amazing. I had the stuffed French toast with bacon which was great! My husband had the veggie omelet and one of my friends had something that was 'off menu'. He ordered crab cake benedict and it was HEAVENLY. I will definitely be back for brunch again.
Food had good flavor but WAY overpriced for portion size. Also was not appetizing looking into the dirty side of the kitchen every time the door swung open. This should be blocked from the view of the diners.
Excellent food. Out of several kinds of wine and liquor. VERY loud
Food was very good, just a bit pricey.
Amazing service, great good. Love going to Brio!!!
Brio has a nice ambiance and the food was good but the portions were extremely small and expensive.
Not the best experience, so so. Goofed on order, food not hot, ambience fine, service friendly.
Service was very good, ambiance was very nice. Would recommend to a friend.
Food was horrible and so was the service-it will be my last visit
