BRIO Tuscan Grille - Newport - Newport On The Levee
I celebrated my 30th birthday at Brio this past weekend and we had an amazing experience. I started with a party of 12 that unexpectedly grew to a party of 16. Not only was the staff was accommodating to my extra guests, our food was on time and delicious. The manager came over to thank me for choosing Brio to celebrate my birthday and took care of my meal, brought me out a free desert, and a glass of Prosecco. Thank you for making my birthday amazing!
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and we had reservations for 5:45 PM. We were set at 5:50 PM, and my wife did not receive her entree until 7:15 PM and as soon as she started eating it she realized her filet was medium rare instead of medium well like she requested it. We sent it back and it took another 25 minutes to get her food the second time. When she cut into the filet it was medium rare again. We requested the manager, Carl/Karl, over and explained the situation. His response, “We’ve had a lot of problems tonight...everything is fine now right?” And then walked away. We’ve only been here one another time. Probably won’t be back...
The quality of the food has went down in my opinion. Also, our server left our salads at the window for at least 10 minutes so we were still eating the salad when our food was delivered.
Food was excellent like always service great we visit brio often plan on coming back
It was Mother's Day and they were packed! But service was still good, with the waiter stopping by even while delivering to another table to be sure we were OK. Food was as good as ever. Lobster ravioli is one of my favorites!!
Mother’s Day and Birthday celebrations!
We were seated at the 1st table inside the restaurant. We asked for another table because it was so close to the door. It was a very chilly & rainy day. They said they didn't have anything. So we froze as we ate & watched as they never attempted to keep the doors closed to keep out the cold air. Not a pleasant experience at all.
Mother’s Day dinner. The restaurant was very busy so service was slow but my food was delicious as always.
Salmon had no flavor
Lobster tail was chewy and burnt
Wrong food brought to the table
Very noisy table
Awesome atmosphere with incredible service and delicious food. Our only hang-up was how expensive it was for the small portions you got. But if you want an upscale experience that gives you fast, professional, next level service. This place is awesome. We made a reservation for Mother’s Day and it was truly a great experience!
We went for Mother’s Day (with reservations) and it felt like the restaurant was overwhelmed. Food took a long time and was lukewarm, salmon was a bit over cooked. Service was very good.
We have a nice brunch, our server was great and our food was excellent. We did not have to wait for our food nor our car since they have the valet service.
Food was excellent but a little pricey. Quality made it well worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely reccomend eating here.
What a great place. They were very accommodating as we brought one more than our reservation. We were there celebrating a graduation. Food and service were fantastic. Gorgonzola encrusted beef medallions in Marsala was a highlight. The staff brought my daughter the new graduate a complimentary piece of cheesecake on a platter with congratulations graduate in chocolate! Perfect.
We had a 10 top and our server had to be new, which is fine. Warm beer, overcooked lamb chops, twice. By the time my husband got his lamb chops, we were ready to leave. We use to go there a lot, but the past few time it's been awful. This was the final straw. We won't be back.
Always enjoy our meals at Brio’s. Marie, our server, did a great job.
Waitress was amazing food was even better.
Nice night out with girl frienda
Great celebratory dinner on a very busy weekend in the Cinci area!
My boyfriend ordered pasta and the portion size was extremely small. Given how inexpensive pasta is to make, this was a very poor value for what we paid. The salmon was good (and ample sized) but also quite expensive compared to other restaurants.
There were six people in our group. Everyone had something different. The service was not bad but just okay. The food was good but a little disappointing. The ribeye steak was not a very good cut although cooked as ordered, the sauces on two of the pastas were a little scarce leading to it being dry. One person in our group changed the sauce and wanted it spicy - he liked it a lot. The two other dishes were as ordered. Overall would say it was good but not special.
Great lunch place for friends and work lunches. We always enjoy the food and great service.
Monday night. Dinner for 8. Restaurant was not busy. Service was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes for us to receive cocktails.
Prom night...took over an hour from when we ordered until food arrived. Waitress told us if we wanted it quickly we’d have to accept smaller portions. We had to get going so we agreed. They brought smaller portions but still charged us menu price. Ridiculous but we had to go so we could get into prom before the cutoff time. Sad...this restaurant used to be great
Took a long time to get our food. Had several large prom groups but kitchen could not accommodate this
I have eaten here many times. Usually everything is great. This time the food was dry, small portions and not particularly tasteful.
We had 6:45 reservations and were seated promptly. Our meals were tasty and we really enjoyed the spicy shrimp and eggplant - something different. Finished with desert and nice glass of wine. Not too noisy for good conversation and our server Tony was outstanding.
Our waiter took 30 minutes to ask us if we wanted appetizers, although we were still waiting on someone, when he asked he said "oh yeah can I get you an appetizer." Kind of as if he forgot.
Great meal and service.
Brio's always has great food and service! It's one of my favorites!
Took family to Brio for Easter dinner. It’s been a tradition for many years. Everyone enjoyed their meals, they were all served promptly and at the same time. We have never had a bad experience at Brio - very good menu options, bread is delicious, meals were all tasty.
The bar area was filthy. Sent our food back twice.
Awesome food and service as always! One of our favorite places!!
Very disappointed with our Easter Brunch. First of all they did not have enough clean coffee cups for our group to have our coffee in a regular cup so half of my family were served coffee in styrofoam cups. Really, for a Holiday brunch! My son ordered the veggie omelette and requested it without onions and was told no changes/exceptions were allowed since it was Easter. Really, they can’t leave out one item! Once we got our food the veggie omelets were terrible. The veggies were so over cooked they were mushy and then they poured this awful salsa on it. My daughter had the stuffed French toasted which was soggy and cold. Most embarrassing dining experience for what should have been a nice family treat for my family. We did not complain and just left as we felt the waiter seemed new and was trying his best but the problem was obviously the kitchen. Won’t go back and shame as we used to love this place.
It was an amazing time for my sister’s Bachelorette Party. Kevin was amazing and we all enjoyed the dinner so much!!! Thank you for making it a great night!
The food was really bad.
Great food and good service
Aside from getting accused of not showing up for our reservations [on line], everything was very nice... Need more vegetarian options. Menu has changed some, possibly need to revamp the entire menu? Used to be more "seasonal"? Miss the pork dish they used to have on the menu. If we didn't show up for our reservation, how did you know to send this survey? Things rather messed up there, communication not so good, maybe?
The quality of the food was not as good as expected. The pasta choices have become limited, serving sizes are smaller while price continues to increase. My pasta was warm, not hot and service was slower than it should have been considering the crowd size. The establishment is beginning to show it's age. We love the outdoor patio and have always enjoyed coming but not as often as we once did.
