BRIO Tuscan Grille - Newport - Newport On The Levee
Great atmosphere and food/drinks for celebrating a birthdat
There was private party that was more like a contest to see who could yell the loudest in a room next to us. It was uncalled for in a place like yours
This was our first time dining at Brio. I didn't think it was anything special. Food was average.
Not all of our servers were very ki
Brio is one of if not my all time favorite restaurants. This time we had a party of 4 to celebrate an anniversary and as usual the food was delicious, the service was great and the entire experience was fabulous. I have always had a good experience at Brio. One thing was kind of a disappointment, I have always loved their pork chops, they are no longer on the menu. My wife or I one or the other always would get them but they are not there any longer so we had to pick another delicious entree.
Food and service are always good; although the food is somewhat overpriced and the menu could use some updating. Very convenient to get there with easy parking and valet available for a reasonable price.
Excellent service from Beth. She put the order in correctly; checked back with us about the quality of the food; promptly handled refills and the check. We were very pleased.
Great service and food
My experience this past Saturday was absolutely horrible, from the service to the food. Our waitress nor the managers paid any attention to us, they were to busy with their personal conversations at times. If I could give zero stars I most certainly would. I have been a faithful Brio customer for a decade but I don't know after this.
We had a great server, I however, cannot remember his name. Thank you Brios!!
Great food and service; a classy and fun place to go!
Brio comes through when all else fails. Middle of the road everything. Nothing so bad that you need to complain, and nothing so good you need to share with the world.
While we enjoyed our appetizers and salads, the entree’s were hit and miss. My Shrimp & Lobster Fettuccine was delicious and my daughter-in-law liked her Spaghetti, but my son’s Pasta Carbonara was just so-so and my wife’s Chicken Pesto Pasta had no flavor at all. Even if the food had been perfect, the service was very slow. The restaurant wasn’t packed, but it took nearly 30 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we placed our order. We also waited at least a half hour from the time our salads arrived until we received our entree’s. When I inquired if there was a problem in the kitchen, the kitchen manager appeared to assure us our entree’s were being plated, but it still took more than 5 minutes before they were served.
My birthday I’ve been here many times , I have notice that the quality of the food has gone way down
Was seated next to a very loud grope of 15 -16 people, said some to waiter and all they did way agreed with me.
Should have just went to Olive Garden!
Overall, it was a pretty nice date night. It did take a while for the food to come, but a manager came out and apologized to us and explained the kitchen was a little behind.
The grilled cheese was burnt so my child didn’t eat it.
There are dozens of new options in terms of dining in the Northern Kentucky downtown Cincinnati area. To be honest it had been along time since we had dined at Brio. The food was excellent and we will certainly be back very soon.
Brio had a nice brunch menu, plus the regular lunch/dinner offerings for Father's Day. We were pleased with the food, and the service was outstanding. The brunch entrees are a better value than the regular menu items.
I have been to other Brio locations. These had a different atmosphere than this location. This location appears to be mostly tourists. The staff was not as experienced in fine dining as the other locations.
Food was good, no complaints, but felt like a downscale restaurant due to the above.
Tried new entrees and thought they were just okay, while previous entrees on prior visits were very good. Everything else for this visit was very good--appetizer, dessert, and service.
My food came out cold but they fixed it immediately and was very good.
Let me start by saying I will go back to BRIO - they just missed a few details - the drink was supposed to have a rim of sugar - the second one did have the sugar - the flatbread pizza as an app was very dry and just lacked taste and presentation but they did take it off our bill - the entrees were very good - could have used more Marsala sauce on the chicken though but overall the taste was very good - the lobster and shrimp was excellent - the service was very good - the ambiance was nice as well - like I said we will go back and try it again.
We use to frequent this establishment quite often, but after the experience we had this evening it will be the last. Fruit flies in the cocktail, food stuck to the silverware and a server who acted indignant when those problems were pointed out plus the manager acted put out when we pointed these issues out to him. It is disappointing that one of our favorite "go to" places is no longer.
It’s been 6 months since I have been there , last night we went and the food has changed the bread was stale our meals was not prepared as good as it use to be . The kitchen was very noisy dropping stuff on the floor several times .
Amazing food at an amazing price. Will definitely come back. Great way to end the day after an amazing time at the Union Terminal Museum. Thank you!
We had a party of 7 people, our waiter was polite and brought our drinks quickly and checked on us promptly. When the food came, two of us had ordered the exact same thing. Just a pasta with meat sauce dish. One serving was noticeably smaller than the other. When we asked our server, he went ahead to get his manager so that it was called attention to. When the manager came over, his response to the serving size was "Well, I don't know how much you've already eaten. (We had literally just gotten our food) I could bring out another serving but everything is weighed to prepare the dish." The manager was just extremely rude. Didn't even offer a discount, we had to ask for one. He spoke like that to my grandmother and grandfather who are in their late 70's. We are not one's to complain unless there's an obvious reason to. We are reasonable and understand things happen sometimes. But, the way the manager handled the situation, is not the way it should've been handled. He shouldn't be in the restaurant business if he's going to respond to customers with a complaint the way he did.
We were seated right away and our server was friendly. Food is okay for the price. I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had Rigatoni which was sort of bland. But overall a good experience and would come back again.
Good Sunday brunch
Had a horrible experience. Meet with Manager and explained to him why we were leaving.
Service was friendly, but slow. Coffee was OLD, brunch entries -- one very good, one very ordinary.
Very slow service. Order delivered incorrectly. Meal was returned correctly by Manager, who seemed not to care. Food was decent but service and attention to detail were certainly lacking. I had not been to Brio in about 15 years before this visit and doubt that I will return.
Not worth the money dont waste your money there or anytime
Nothing worse than walking into a business when everyone is ready to leave - it's human nature to want to go home or end our work day. But we had made reservations for a celebration dinner on the night of my daughter's high school graduation with family - she loves Newport on the Levee. The graduation @ St Henry started and ended late and we all arrived around 9:00-9:15pm. My kids even noticed how unhappy the server was to be there - not very friendly. It has a great ambiance & we all enjoyed the food - the only part that might need improvement is the service....always the toughest challenge! But we ate and were gone by 10:00 - so thank you for allowing us to order and celebrate our daughter's graduation together!
Our server, Sean, was fantastic. I recommend trying the lasagna, it was delicious.
Food came out cold second round of food just wasn’t appetizing.... drinks were weak. The dining area was hot. The manager took care of or bill but it was kinda as though we weren’t allowed to complain since we were receiving a discount. Overall I’ll never return.
I celebrated my 30th birthday at Brio this past weekend and we had an amazing experience. I started with a party of 12 that unexpectedly grew to a party of 16. Not only was the staff was accommodating to my extra guests, our food was on time and delicious. The manager came over to thank me for choosing Brio to celebrate my birthday and took care of my meal, brought me out a free desert, and a glass of Prosecco. Thank you for making my birthday amazing!
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and we had reservations for 5:45 PM. We were set at 5:50 PM, and my wife did not receive her entree until 7:15 PM and as soon as she started eating it she realized her filet was medium rare instead of medium well like she requested it. We sent it back and it took another 25 minutes to get her food the second time. When she cut into the filet it was medium rare again. We requested the manager, Carl/Karl, over and explained the situation. His response, “We’ve had a lot of problems tonight...everything is fine now right?” And then walked away. We’ve only been here one another time. Probably won’t be back...
The quality of the food has went down in my opinion. Also, our server left our salads at the window for at least 10 minutes so we were still eating the salad when our food was delivered.
Food was excellent like always service great we visit brio often plan on coming back
