BRIO Tuscan Grille - Newport - Newport On The Levee
Food was incredible! Service though was less than stellar. Took 20 minutes for the waiter to ask us about drinks and only checked on us once.
Carpaccio was good as always, we had the salmon with vegetables ( not sure of the name). was a little over cooked. the crème brulee was delicious..
Good food on a quiet night
Server not very experienced yet but very engaging and polite.
Service was excellent & food was even better. This was my first time here but I’ll definitely be back.
We were seated right in front of the door so when the door opened the cold air came through.
Thought there would be music in the back ground NOT, not sure if the door opening drowned
out the music but there was none.
The food and service was amazing. The waiter made me feel special for celebrating my birthday with them.
Order got lost gas to come back after 45 minutes and ask what we ordered. Very inattentive.
Food was delicious. There were five in our party and are waitress was wonderful.
I found a piece of porcelain inside of my lasagna. Other than that it was a great meal!
Took two couples (clients) along with my wife -- and everyone had an excellent meal. Appetizers were great (Capaccio and the Bruschetta). The caprese tomatoes weren't very ripe, but not a surprise for Ohio/Kentucky in November. The main dishes were prepared well and very flavorful. Food temp was good when served. Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Excellent for business and special occassions!
Service was great for our large group of 12.
Excellent food and service
My food was good I had filet but my husbands was not it wasn’t cooked like it was supposed to. I had an ant in my water. And our waiter acted like he was too good to be waiting on us. We did however get my husbands meal for free.
Our server was a delight, and so attentive. She made our visit perfect. Thank you!
After enjoying a Veterans’s Remembrance event @ Union Terminal, we planned to celebrate a nice Brunch with our husbands who were both veterans of the Navy & Air Force. As one of them actually participated in the event by playing Taps, he was in his uniform. ( it bears noting that the hostess nor our server nor any other Brio employee thought to acknowledge him or his service to our country). Once seated, our server arrived in a rushed manner and looking a bit disheveled in appearance. We requested a change in our selections from scrambled eggs to over easy but the plates arrived with scrambled eggs. She reported that the grills couldn’t make the requested eggs. The plates were also missing the potatoes but she didn’t know if they were included in the entree. Although they were printed on the menu, she had to go check to confirm this. I ordered an Omelette with no tomatoes & it came loaded with them. She sat it down and then said, “oh, that’s wrong, I’ll have them remake it”. I switched to a different selection to keep it simple.
We have dined at Brio’s countless times through the years and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. We are residents of NKY who enjoy dining out (especially close to home) but this was a huge disappointment for a day when we wished to honor our veterans.
We got seated right away and our food came out very fast. Dinner and dessert was delicious! Highly recommend!
Food is good and noise level is minimal. Service could be a little quicker and costs seem high
Nice meal - large portions!
I dine at BRIO several times each year. The consistency in the exceptional quality of food and service are why I return and why this restaurant is one of my top two dining recommendations when I get together with my friends.
Ambience and service excellent. Shrimp in shrimp pasta entree was tough and chewy (overcooked?).
This was our first time ever going here and we had the lamp chops and pan salmon it was incredible. Every bit of it was worth it.
It was a good thing we were not in a hurry and had plenty of time to dine. Waited almost an hour for our food, for some reason, and my fish was dry.
In general, my husband and my visit to BRIO was good. The service was great and the food was pretty good, but not good for the price. The fingerling potato’s were super dry and stale tasting. Not worth the price at all unfortunately. My steak was not cooked as requested however the staff were more than willing to make a new steak or cook the one I had. I just had them recook the one I had. The steak tasted really good. Very juicy and flavorful. The only thing I would say to change would be the fingerling potato’s-just take them completely off the menu and replace with something better and then maybe the price would be worth it. The atmosphere was okay. It was a little loud and not as fancy as I expected for the price. Lots of people were in jeans and sweat pants, but maybe that’s because where this restaurant is located.
Upon arriving was very packed (Typical for a Friday evening so no complaints there), and hostess/lady at the front table was very rude and seemed unhappy. Waitress was very kind and attentive, but there were gnats in the waters once we got them, which was extremely shocking for a restaurant like Brio. Food was great, but overall, the problem with the waters soured the entire experience.
Chelsea, our server, was fantastic! Food and drinks were excellent. Great happy hour!!
Lamb chops were excellent with 3 double-thick chops. Split-order done with no charge. We eat here quite often. Valet parking is quick and easy. Service is efficient and effective.
We can depend on Brio for providing an excellent evening!
Solid dining experience.
The food was awesome! Closest to the Authentic NYC Italian that we have found.
Food quality and portion has definitely gone downhill-as well as the wait staff
Delicious food in a beautiful place. Good service. But LOUD! Our group of 8 had trouble being heard. Maybe just not best for more than two. We had reservations but we were out in the aisle rather than a more private space.
amazing atmosphere. great food. service was excellent.
Wonderful food, atmosphere and service.
Things were a little behind in the kitchen so we ended up being there longer than necessary but had made sure we had about 2.5 hours before our movie started so there way plenty of time. Food was good - shrimp scampi bruschetta was amazing.
Daughters 17th birthday celebration with friends.
Been here and enjoyed it many times. On this visit, though, we were seated over an hour before our food arrived, and it had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp half of that time. We’ll return, but this was not a good experience.
We had no problems with our reservation, or our service. I would use this reservation procedure again
Worst dining experience ever at Brio! Shrimp & Lobster Fettucine - very little cream sauce, over cooked noodles. Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions - were good but the side mash potatoes were cold (could bounce my fork off them) and vegetables were not fresh. Needless to say there was a good amount of food left on our plates and our waiter never asked how we liked our dinners. No interest in going back.
Brio is constantly good but never amazing- their menu is full of great staples, but nothing superb.
Food very good, service very good.
