BRIO Tuscan Grille - Newark - Christiana
For our party of 14, the service was quick and the food was excellent.
Started wither Tomato Bisque which was excellent. Our entrees were Salmon Fresco and Pan Seared Salmon, and both were very good!!!
Our service as usual was superb!
My wife and I dined at Brio this week for date night. It was beautiful weather so we sat outside. We started with house special cocktails, her an Aperol and Prosecco blend, me a Brio Old Fashioned. Both were nicely balanced and very tasty. Chopped salads are the best, always fresh, crisp and lightly dressed with their red wine vinaigrette dressing-yummy. For dinner my wife had her usual - Spaghetti Pomodoro, and I had the Spaghetti Bolognese. The pastas were al dente, and both sauces were fresh and very tasty. A glass of chianti was the perfect accompaniment to the Bolognese. Overall another great meal at Brio, and Nicole did a great job as our server! We will be back!
No good vegetarian options. Had to wait several minutes for waiter to ask for water. Food was cold and dry. Not worth the money.
We were celebrating our Daughters graduation from College with family and friends. It was a large party and the wait staff were very accommodating and did an outstanding job. The food all came out at the same time and was hot and delicious. All around great experience. We will be back.
Four of the six of us ordered omelettes and eggs. They all came out cold. The three omelettes look like they were premade then whatever we ordered inside was thrown in. Definitely not fresh. The scrambled eggs were cold as well. We sent them all back and they came back out cold again except for the scrambled eggsOr lukewarm. I ended up not keeping mine and got a salad with salmon on it that was delicious. The manager was very nice and gave us two meals off and the appetizer we’ve been here before and mostly OK yesterday’s experience not so much
Great service and food was delicious! Very accommodating to our party that was celebrating UD graduation!
Another great meal at BRIO! Chopped salads were fresh, crisp and topped with a great red wine vinaigrette dressing. And the portions are generous. My wife had her usual, Spaghetti Pomodoro, and it was scrumptious as always. I had the Shrimp Capri with nice sized shrimp and plenty of them. The lemon sauce was light and very tasty. What a great dish! We always have a great meal at this restaurant! Can’t wait to come back!
Food was great as usual. The service was top notch.
Service was great. It was very loud inside, but nice and comfortable. They had many options for the picky eater. They were very accommodating we were a table of 9, four children and five adults.
I took my family here for Mother’s Day so my review is based on a very busy time. Upon arrival we were told that someone was still at our reserved table and we would need to a wait another 30 minutes. The staff quickly rearranged some tables and had us seated within 10 minutes.
We ordered drinks and my wife had ordered a special cocktail which the waiter said they had couldn’t make because they were out of some ingredients. He then never asked if she wanted a different drink. He return with drinks for the rest of the table and proceeded to spill one of the kids drinks on the table. My wife then reminded him that she wanted something different. Bread was also served.....6 people at the table and 5 pieces of bread. Obviously we shared and no one asked us if we needed more.
We placed our order and my wife and I decided to get salads before our meal. The salads came in a timely fashion but our meals arrived 5 minutes after the salads forcing us to shovel our salads into our mouths to make room for the food. The service staff told us the plates were hot and proceeded to hand us the plates including the kids! My mother in laws plate was so hot she nearly dropped her entree in her lap.
The food was decent but my entree of pasta had said in the menu that it was served with pancetta. My entree was super small and there was almost no pancetta.
I don’t know the restaurant was overloaded due to the crowd but our first experience did not leave a good impression
It was awesome. The waiters were great
Great service and lunch specials salad and small serving was delicious!
Food and service was excellent...as always. The restaurant was a little loud and inhibited personal conversation at our table.
We have dined at Brio on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Again, we received a great meal along with wonderful service!
I would recommend Brio to anyone that is looking for beautiful salads, fresh pasta and wonderful Italian dishes. All this coupled with a very nice wine selection.
I love it there. The atmosphere can be casual or dressier. They are very accommodating to alter entrees to the best of their abilities for either food allergies or just preferences. I've never had a bad meal there!
Food was good, people were great. Would go again. And would recommend to everyone
And we have recommended Brio Grille to many in our development. We are aware of at least 5 families taking our advise. The food was excellent. Great sized menu as usual. But what truly made this experience above all others, was our waiter. He was very exceptional. Could not do enough to keep us happy. Food was delivered hot and always with a smile. We never had to ask for drink refills, he was right there. And the fact that he had several other tables. The ambiance is always fantastic. This was our fifth time for dinner. Believe me, we would be eating here many more times but it takes us an hour and a half to get there. But we’ll worth it. Prices are within going limits, never prohibitive. Hoping to see you soon.
The hostesses are super friendly when you walk in the door. Service is always good, you have some upbeat servers who engage you with small talk and then you have those servers who are nice but don’t have much to say. I’m okay with either, just sharing my perception. Their entree’s are one of kind and not your typical Italian dishes which I like, even their lasagna is not what you think and it was delicious. Brio also has an amazing brunch and my favorite item on that menu is the Sicilian Omelette13.00
Smoked ham, Applewood bacon, sausage, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes, Mozzarella, brunch potatoes (1580 cal)
The ambience is perfect!
One of our favorite restaurants! Always great service, delicious food and a well timed meal. We both started with the chopped salad - fresh, crisp greens and great dressings. Delicious! Went to our favorites for entrees - Spaghetti Bolognese for my wife, Shrimp and Lobster Fettuccine for me. As always we were mopping up the last bits of sauce with the great bread. Yum! Glasses of wine - Valpolicella for my wife, Wente Chardonnay for me - capped off another great meal. Keep up the great work!
The soup was served cold. Other than that it was good.
The food was very good and we had an excellent server
We had ordered the chicken Parmesan and you could not eat the chicken Parmesan the chicken taste like rubber it was awful we had to send it back and we had ordered a steak my husband and I and the steak come out and it wasn’t cooked all the way through it was just an awful experience our waitress wasn’t the nicest person and she was kind of rude everything seem to be a problem when we asked for something from her very disappointment
As always great service, food and clean environment. Exactly what to expect when eating at BRIO.
The food is awesome. Thanks for bringing back my favorites!
Best spot at the mall. Appetizers better than the entrees
One of our favorite places to meet friends or family for a meal. We have eaten In Brio’s in Pa, NJ, Florida and De. All offer the same good food and service.
Brio is one of our favorite restaurants. We are never disappointed after a meal. We use it for special occasions.
The waiter started out great on top of our needs and available but after we got our food we couldn’t find him for a while and then after dessert it took forever to flag him down and get our check. Food was fabulous!!!!
We had a great evening! Thank you.
It was a great birthday dining experience! Although it was busy, David took great care of us. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
We enjoy a great dinner and had a very nice waiter that was very pleasant and quick with our food!
The food and service was excellent, but the noise level from both the other patrons and the music overhead was very loud. Definitely would pick something other than the 70's and 80's pop music that was playing, maybe something more along the lines of Sinatra. My husband and I had a hard time hearing each other, and our server, at times.
We made a special trip coming thru Delaware to Maryland just to return to this restaurant! We like the ambiance but especially the food. The pasta with shrimp and lobster was delicious. We also liked the Chicken marsala. Both visits our waiter/waitress were friendly and eager to please. Also loved the molten chocolate cake with super creamy ice cream. Delizioso! Looking forward to going back again
First the food. My meal was ordered medium rare and was delivered as well done. Additionally mashed potatoes were served instead of fingerling potatoes. Pasta was served over cooked for another person. The server was asked to bring water several times before we received any water. The waiter kept placing the serving tray on the back of a booth where others were sitting. Other servers dragged chairs across the floor to set up an adjacent table just to drag all the chairs across the tile floor again to break it all down. It was quite a racket. Considering the cost, not a good experience.
We met friends from the Delaware area for dinner. Very reasonably priced; enjoyable food. Relaxed atmosphere where we could catch-up on our friends' latest news without feeling rushed to eat our dinner and leave.
Nicole was a great server. She was patient and informative. The food was really good and flavorful. I'm glad I gave it another chance.
Was very good!
