BRIO Tuscan Grille - Naples - Waterside
We have been going to Brio for lunch and dinner for many years. after the last two experiences of dining for dinner we noticed that the quality and quantity of food has changed dramatically. we dined out a couple days ago for celebration of a birthday dinner. 4 adults and one child attended. the music is awful ! they have very loud obnoxious screaming music and you you cannot concentrate on your conversation. our waitress was mediocre along with the price of food and the quantity and quality I would rate below poor if I could on the review... the lamb was overcooked 2 the point where it was tough even though the order was for medium rare. the pesto sauce was just dribbled on top of the vegetable. the spaghetti bolognese tasted more like the bottom of the pan that you would scrape with sand in it it was very gritty and brown. the steak filet with green beans and rosemary potatoes were unedible. that was totally sent back to the kitchen. the steak tasted like it had sat in the refrigerator a few days too long and was beginning to turn. the green beans were extremely greasy although cooked correctly and the potatoes had so much Rosemary seasoning on them they were not edible. so all in all the only thing that was good was the calamari other than that I know we will never be going back to Brio and pass that on. after being here 35 years in Naples, I will tell them not to waste their money there. unfortunate, but another restaurant checked off
amazing staff! fabulous food and excellent service!
Awesome as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Service is outstanding, food was very good and quite reasonable
My elderly parents live in Naples very close to Brio, but they no longer drive and are fairly home bound. For their 62nd anniversary, I wanted them to be able to get out and enjoy a good meal; they have enjoyed dining at this Brio in the past for years. I was able to work with Brian, the GM, who was more than helpful in working with me to pre-order (on short notice, I might add!) their meals and make payment in advance of their arrival. I let him know their caretaker would bring them and help them get seated. Later that day, my parents called to rave about the booth in which they were seated; the service and the food. Success! It was a great way to both surprise them and allow them to enjoy a celebratory meal. Thanks to Brian and the staff of Brio at Waterside for helping my parents to enjoy their day!
Our entire parry enjoyed our meal very much. I had the mushroom ravioli and it was delicious.
Wie immer . Seen war gut bei angenehmen Ambiente. Aber dieses Mal eher leer. Etliche Tische waren nicht besetzt so dass man sich mit der Bedienung und der Bezahlung deutlich Zeit gelassen hat.
Lasagna night was outstanding.
Great food and dinner for the next night.
What a deal!!!!!
Food was good atmosphere is good service was slow because the bartender not only had to take care of the bar for the entire restaurant it seemed as though she had all the tables outside too. Perhaps management needs to allocate more staff to this area.
The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We are regulars and will return soon. We love Brio’s !!
Great quality food! Service hands down the best! The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Only had dinner there twice, but both times the same quality. Highly recommended to anyone that loves Italian.
Lovely dinner outside on bar area. Wonderful service and food.
We had lasagna, a pesto pasta with chicken, Chicken Parmesan, and a strawberry basaltic salad with grilled chicken. Everything was great! Service was fast and friendly.
I wasn’t crazy about our spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, but, other than that, we were pleased.
We had a delightful meal and experience. Our server was responsive and pleasant. We did order a “to go” order and asked them to hold in the refrigerator. When we came back after shopping it took forever for someone to find.
We always love Brio!!
We ordered their beef Carpaccio appetizer which was delicious however it now is smaller than previously. The Pasta Bolognese was somewhat dry and should be served with additional sauce. The Seared Salmon was delicious but was a very small portion size and overpriced at $23. We love their Sour Dough Bread but it was overheated and really hard. Decent wine list. Excellent service from our server Stephani although rushed as the restaurant was not busy. Very courteous complementary valet parking. This restaurant changes their menu too often and has removed Veal from the menu and reduced portion sizes.
Whilst I understand it’s slow out of season, I didn’t like that they decided to shut early and so shut off the music at 9. Our server was great and didn’t make us feel rushed but it was our Friday night out but a restaurant with only a few tables filled, no music and all the staff cleaning out doesn’t exactly make you want to linger. If we’d known, we’d have cancelled and gone elsewhere.
Great waiter excellent food nothing more to sayxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx
The service was really bad. They brought dishes of food and put it in front of people then removed them 2 and 3 times because it was the wrong dish. Everyone got their food at different times. Some people were done eating by the time other were getting their food. The food was good though. The stuffed penne vodka is fantastic.
Usually love their lasagne but tonight it was dry and nit enough sauce. Nit busy but waiter could care less if we were there. Salmon was very good but overall, not impressed
Great ambiance, excellent service and good food! One of my favorite restaurants!
A lovely place for lunch. Good food selection, adequate portions, tasty fare, served well. Bread basket is excellent. We did not have drinks or dessert the service was pleasant and prompt. This was second time at the restaurant and as an out-of -towner I would certainly come again.
Restaurant ended up being closed once we got there they were packing up.. it was a holiday so we understood but bummed the system let us reserve a table, we would have gone earlier..
Our waiter was lovely and he was very attentive. It’s off season so understandably the number of people was way down from usual.
The food was ok... not really memorable.
Food was very favorable. The bread and bread sticks were very good.
Always excellent food and service. Staff has been there for years and are friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
As always, Brio in Naples is outstanding. Our party of three was an hour early for a 5:15 reservation.......no problem, your hostess had us seated in the bar/lounge and we were waited on first class and offered a great late lunch menu. Food was delicious especially the lamb enjoyed by my wife. In admidst the finest shops and restaurants in Naples you guys still take first billing as “top of the line”. Bright management, dedicated employees and being first class......you guys got it all. Well Done
One excellent meal, one very poor but they offered to delete the charge. Service and ambiance good. I'd return, but not order the same dish
Ate outside near the bar. Chopped salad and shrimp/lobster fettichini were good. Had some air conditioning and was quiet with no one at the bar. Sorry they no longer served mocha-chip ice cream after many years of having it on the menu.
For the first time very disappointing. Bar staff is sensational but beyond that disappointing.
Our appetizers were all overcooked and our chicken Milanese which we get almost every eat was overcooked and our server told us the new chef said he will not split the dish?
Our server who was leaving the next day had a very poor attitude and it impacted our experience. Give us Greg or Samantha any day! They are the best!
Service was very slow, even though there were only 2 other tables occupied in our large section. We waited at least 10 minutes before someone showed up. We had to ask for bread. As a party of 3, one dish was delivered wrong. The food was very acceptable once the mistake was resolved.
The wedding soup was absolutely the best I have ever eaten!
The food was good as usual. Not the best we have had at Brio.
Hidden gem... Great food, service & atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Great service. Food was great!
Good food, excellent service and the best people watching in Naples!
One of my favorite tasks when I am in Naples is a dinner at Brio. We usually get there early to enjoy happy hour and appetizers at their outstanding bar. Brio has very good ambience and service and reasonable prices.
The place just filthy, nobody clean and dust it for months. Very disappointed. We talked with a manager about it, but looks like nobody care. When owner is not around thats what happened. Food is fine, but overall is not like supposed to be.
Fantastic as always at Brio Tuscan Grille!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
