BRIO Tuscan Grille - Naples - Waterside
Doesn’t matter that we had a 6-15 reservation. We were put at back of line and waited 20 min to be seated. Need a better system
We enjoyed sitting in a booth open to the outside. The menu is broad and all in our party enjoyed their selections. But, our service was beyond poor. The salads, pasta and entrees ordered were not complicated, but took forever to come to the table. We apologized continuously to our guests.
I’m hoping it was an off day as everyone came in after the theater. But, the staff and kitchen should still be ready for this. I will plan on sitting outside from now on. Water from the air vent was dripping on our first table and our second table was right by the door. And this is what I got even making a reservation weeks in advance. The food was average. I ordered the “thin” mushroom raviolis and they were thick and dense.
Pre show dinner with friends. Loud environment, decent food and service
There were several "positives"s about our pre-Artis-Hamilton dining experience with another couple. First, we could hear each other talk (seated outside and under the ceiling in a booth). Second, the food was good and portions reasonable, which means that I actually finished it. Third, the service by Orlando was just right. Thank you, Brio.
Lovely venue and ambience but food disappointing. The scrambled egg which 5 of 6 of our party had was very dry and bland
We had a very nice evening at Brio. Our waiter was Chris. He was exceptional
Not enough staff. Very nice waiter who did his best. No one to fill water glasses or take a second drink order. It was a very busy night
Good. Food good. Lovely surroundings
Though I had made the reservation weeks in advance we were shuttled off to an adjoining room where we were very near the bar and the kitchen. We would like to have been treTed like valued customers as we have been to Brio often.
Was seated in back near a warming light ( so heat came my way) and then leaks from ceiling ac was dripping water on me. Hostess was oblivious to our complaints and waitress apologized but didn’t offer to make any changes or amends. Food was ok and brought out so quickly and then waitress was quickly clearing us, so hint to leave. Bad and disappointing experience.
Good food, Michael (WI) our Server was terrific. Seated efficiently - unfortunately, Server has to do it all from clearing to filling water, etc, so there were times we waited simply due that he was pushed/pulled in several directions.
An excellent restaurant that we frequent often and are never disappointed.
The restaurant is too loud.
The location is always consistently good and as usual, we had excellent service from our servers, however, it took forever for our main courses to come. When people are served who come in much later than you, it is discouraging.
Service was great. Food was good. Quantity was perfect.
MY BROTHER WAS VISITING AND LOVED SITTING OUTSIDE...NOT BEING RUSHED WAS WONDERFUL AND THE FOOD WAS FRESH AND STRAIGHT FORWARD.
We often entertain guests at Naples Brio Tuscan Grill. Our guests especially enjoy the wide range of food selections, excellent service, and upscale ambience. There’s free valet parking and Waterside mall shopping at Tiffany, Apple, and many other upscale stores.
Disappoint from the outset. Relegated to adjacent to the service area. Waiter was unaware of wine selection; had to point it out on the menu. Upon opening the bottle at the table, he poured without offering a taste. Entrees were fair at best; fish special was without taste. Table was dirty throughout; in fact, our dessert was placed on bread crumbs. Was always one of our favorite restaurants!
Stephanie excellentl. Pasta BRIO too dry and not enough sauce and chicken.
Food nowhere as near as good as the atmosphere. Outside is beautiful.
The waitress spilled a glass of wine on someone in our group. Unfortunate, but accidents happen. Other than apologizing, all they did was offer to pick up the dry cleaning bill if he came back with a receipt. No round of drinks, appetizer or dessert. That doesn’t even get him back to even after the hassle of it all.
Then, I ordered my meal without mushrooms or tomatoes. With such a simple request, I had to send it back 3 times. By the time they got it right, everyone else was done. I barely got an apology.
Third trip to Brio. Before Hamilton Performance. Restaurant full, but our reserved table was ready, considering the crowd, our service was not rushed, but still prompt enough to have us (5) out in plenty of time for curtain. One of our party ordered soup that did not appear. But wasn't a big issue. Overall a great place for dinner before a show.
Our waitress, Hannah, was attentive, pleasant and made sure our pre-matinee theatre lunch was served in a timely and professional manner. Great job. Love this restaurant and it's proximity to Artis-Naples!
Food certainly keeps improving and Carpaccio one of the best in Naples. Shame that the tops of the booth dividers never seem to get a wipe down as they are, more often than not, covered in dust a little off putting health wise. Good wine list with sensible prices.
The food was fresh and well presented. Our table of four has seared scallops, lasagna, lobster and shrimp linguini and salads. The linguini was el dente and just creamy enough. We sat in the far back which was well lit for a visually impaired friend. Perfect. The Italian margarita was fabulous.
If your a local resident in the Naples area, I HIGHLY recommend that you wait until the off season to make a visit to this restaurant. I went with my daughter for dinner before we went to see Hamiliton at the Artis-Naples (The Philharmonic) and it was very mismanaged. Even though we had reservations, we still had to wait a substantial amount of time, and the hostess couldn't even give us a time frame as to when we could expect to be seated. Once we were seated, it felt like we were rushed to get in and out for those waiting outside for their tables to be ready. My dinner was over cooked and looked like it had been sitting at the serving station for a while. Overall, it was a poor experience, which was quite upsetting since I've been on several different occasions and never had this bad of an experience. Hopefully, if I decide to return for another visit, it won't be as bad as this one.
Saturday night dining with family and grandson, a two year old.
Dinner was very prompt and food was good. However, we had to wait a half hour to get and pay our bill. We were going to have desert but it seemed to make our dinner an never ending adventure. Our grandson. Was great , but don’t hold us hostage!
New Year’s Eve dinner
Amanda did a great job. We were in for lunch before “Hamilton” matinee. Thank you
I'm afraid I can't remember our young waitress's name..however she was wonderful and helped with directions to Artis-Naples for our event. She also had a lovely Europe on accent!
Waitstaff is very pleasant! Carpaccio is soooo good!
We had a party of eight, celebrating my daughters birthday. The service was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. Brio is one of our favorites for Happy Hour and dinner.
This is one of the worst Italian food experiences I have ever had. The pasta was gummy, salty and just awful. Salad was limp and tasteless. Really bad. Never again.
Brio is a perfect venue for eating before visiting Artis. We had a bad experience about where we were seated 3 years ago, which was very badly handled, and we swore we would never go back. However we were given a gift token for Christmas and had to return. We're glad we did! The menu is very good, the food is very good and we were seated in a nice quiet room at the back.
We were given gift cards for the restaurant and thought we’d give it a try. It was well worth it and will return.
We sat and were dripped on by water. Our table had 5 people...2 had the proper silverware in their napkins. One had 3 forks and no knife. One had 2 forks and no knife. The food was blah.
Our server disappeared for long periods of time.
The only thing I can say is it is a convenient location.
A surprise of a restaurant in an upscale retail shopping center next to the Tesla store. Wait-staff has an international flavor. Moments away from Artis Naples. Brio is a perfect place to sit back and relax, enjoy a cocktail, appetizer, entre, and cappuccino. Sit out side and watch the plush cars or the decked out people walk by. Our meal was excellent. With an array of appetizer/starter choices to the main event. Everything was served timely and delicious. The shrimp and lobster fettuccine was outstanding with home made pasta and loads of seafood. Pricing was beyond reasonable which was a pleasant surprise. It was great that the menu provides calorie count for all meals. We will definitely return!
