One of our favorites! It’s so delicious and service is so great! Highly recommended the Gorgonzola crusted beef medallions!
No the food wasn’t that good and it was a little over priced I think but the cake was amazing!!
Excellent food, friendly staff, great service. Though a bit on the expensive side, it is worth it.
Food and service were excellent. Have visited several times and always enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.
It seems that the menu has changed. I certainly enjoyed the past menu better. Please bring back the pork chops and brushettas and other fish dishes. We could not find an appetizer that we wanted to order
I got the fish of the day, which was Halibut, and it was so dry I couldn’t eat it.
there were 6 of us there for dinner. I ordered the Beef Medalions, I asked for them medium rare and they were well done. My husband ordered the shrimp lobster pasta dish, he loved it but the waitress never came back with the parmesan cheese that he asked for. Service wasn't as good as we have had before but the waitress was really busy too. We will be back but this time I wont sit quietly when the food isn't up to your standards.
Waiter #853 needs trailing. Nice polite but didn’t decide the salad. If I have to schlep it to another plate I might as well be cooking at home. While asking #853 to please bring back to divide they brought out the main course. No, I want to eat my salad first. Time the entrees after that. If it sits on the table then it’s cold. And bring the bill after you remove dirty dishes. And for heavens sake, don’t stack the dirty dishes in front of the lady using her carpaccio plate as a tray to remove the discussing dirty plates n silverware.
This was our fourth visit to Brio in the last year. At each visit, the food was reliably excellent, the service was exceptional, and despite the place being packed, the ambiance was still entirely pleasant. My wife and the other lady of our group had the Pasta Alla Vodka which was absolutely delicious. My friend had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was also delicious. And I had the double-cut New Zealand Lamb Chops, which were perfectly prepared. In all, it was yet another great Brio evening. Highly recommended!
We had a large group for a dance and they were great to accommodate all of us.
The food was nice but it took quite a while to get our drinks and bread.
The waiter we had was outstanding. He went above a beyond to make our visit memorable.
Had a wonderful time for father in law's birthday we had a party of 16 and service was great, I ordered salmon salad and it was delish!
Steve Rose is an excellent GM who knows how to take care of his customers, even the "special" ones.
Good guy, and has the experience as well as the old style connectivity with customers that make them feel at home while out to dinner.
I would suggest that you bring the pork chops back, please.
Very nice restaurant. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable.
Our wait staff was not very attentive. Seemed almost shy and reserved. Like he didn’t know what he was doing or was new to the job. The halibut special was lacking something. Halibut is a lean fish and needed a light sauce to make it perfect. The Tomato Caprese salad had no olive oil or balsamic vinegar. We found ourselves eating dry salad and adding salt and pepper. Not the usual standard we normally come to expect from Brio.
As a long-time Brio diner that has eaten at many of their restaurants across the country, we were terribly disappointed. Do not know if it is the results of changes enacted by the relatively new corporate owners, but something has very negatively impacted the quality and appearance of the dishes presented. The chopped salad that has been a favorite was overdressed and soggy. And, the shrimp and lobster pasta dish was just a bowl of tasteless sauce with a couple of sad crumbles of lobster, a few shrimp that were cold, as tasteless as the sauce and tough beyond belief. With the only color being a dozen cold cherry tomatoes thrown on top. Visually a very sad dish that was equal by its quality and taste. Would not have experienced the ambiance, but would have been presented better food at an Olive Garden. We historically visited Brio about every 4 to 6 weeks with this experience removing it from our list for any future visit.
Great food great service!
We had to ask multiple times for drink refills. In one instance we asked multiple times for the same drink to be refilled. Finally one of our party flagged a waiter insisting the drink refill be attended.
We’ve been to Brio several times and every time has been delicious. Due to a busy night, our waiter was slower than usual and forgetful of what we ordered. Also, if you plan on a quiet date night, perhaps chooses a different restaurant because there were many families with loud kids. The bar is always on point and the food is great.
Wonderful food and great service. They were very busy and it was so loud. Our waitress was great but I think her help didn’t show or something so we did wait a while, but it was a great experience overall!
Need to add new items/specials to the menu each week.
It's always the same menu items.
Use to have the best pork chops in town. Corporate changed there menu and took them off along with other very popular dishes. Dont go here unless you look at the menu now and see a dish you like
Great time with friends and connections!
Very ordinary experience. Somewhat disappointing vis-a-vis what we were accustomed to. Revamped menu. Recipe changes. Smaller portions. Purportedly“healthier” options. Higher prices. Formerly a “go to”. Won’t frequent as often.
Took 15 minutes to get our wine. First course (soup) was brought out. Within two minutes, our entrees were delivered. This used to be our go to place for a casual dining experience. Service at this location has gone downhill fast. We’re going to take our BRIO business downtown.
Always a great experience to dine at the Brio at Fashion Place. Their location at City Creek is very good too but Fashion Place is the best. Kevin is a manager there and always goes the extra mile to make it an enjoyable experience.
We loved an off menu dish, the beef medallions. They were SPECTACULAR! Especially loved the veggies on the side w/ the sauce and mushrooms. The fish of the day was halibut and lacked a little bit of flavor... but was still a great dinner. We will definitely come back again.
I don't understand why this eatery is not busier. The food is excellent, you can make reservations and it is not expensive. I would eat here, over Olive Garden, any day!
Brio called to confirm reservations the night before so no worries if they got it!! Service and food was excellent!! We happily celebrated my husband's retirement as a family!! Memorable occasion and fantastic service!! Online reservations easy to use and very convenient!!!
Good great ambience great food but, service not knolegble about wine list and anything about Italian dining...too bad
She delivered the meal and the check..nothing else
Warm bread, great food, friendly and attentive service!
They changed the menu and it is not as good as it used to be. We were very disappointed, they got rid of the best options. Too bad.
Big corporation food, little attention to detail. The shrimp in my wife’s shrimp pasta was flavorless and my lasagna mushy.
Always good food at Brio. I had mushroom ravioli. Not a big dish but nice for smaller appetite. If your hungry get the lasagna.
It was NYE. I was disappointed that the menu changed. Some of my favorites were not available
We have been fans of Brio for years. Literally years. But the menu has changed eliminating favorite items, the quality of the food is poor and the price has increased. Sadly we won't be going back.
We love the foods and very nice atmosphere. Great place to eat. Will definitely recommend beef carpaccio.
Honestly, we were not expecting much from this restaurant, but we wanted to at least try it. WOW were we surprised! The food was amazing, everything we ordered was prepared to perfection, and the prices are completely reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was also excellent. We were in on New Year's Eve and the efficiency of the service was impressive, there was a huge group next to us and we were impressed by the organization of taking care of a table to 2 and a table of 10 with the same care and expediency, yet with no rush. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, on every level. Enjoy!
