Took 15 minutes to get our wine. First course (soup) was brought out. Within two minutes, our entrees were delivered. This used to be our go to place for a casual dining experience. Service at this location has gone downhill fast. We’re going to take our BRIO business downtown.
Always a great experience to dine at the Brio at Fashion Place. Their location at City Creek is very good too but Fashion Place is the best. Kevin is a manager there and always goes the extra mile to make it an enjoyable experience.
I don't understand why this eatery is not busier. The food is excellent, you can make reservations and it is not expensive. I would eat here, over Olive Garden, any day!
Brio called to confirm reservations the night before so no worries if they got it!! Service and food was excellent!! We happily celebrated my husband's retirement as a family!! Memorable occasion and fantastic service!! Online reservations easy to use and very convenient!!!
Good great ambience great food but, service not knolegble about wine list and anything about Italian dining...too bad
She delivered the meal and the check..nothing else
Warm bread, great food, friendly and attentive service!
They changed the menu and it is not as good as it used to be. We were very disappointed, they got rid of the best options. Too bad.
Big corporation food, little attention to detail. The shrimp in my wife’s shrimp pasta was flavorless and my lasagna mushy.
Always good food at Brio. I had mushroom ravioli. Not a big dish but nice for smaller appetite. If your hungry get the lasagna.
It was NYE. I was disappointed that the menu changed. Some of my favorites were not available
We have been fans of Brio for years. Literally years. But the menu has changed eliminating favorite items, the quality of the food is poor and the price has increased. Sadly we won't be going back.
We love the foods and very nice atmosphere. Great place to eat. Will definitely recommend beef carpaccio.
Honestly, we were not expecting much from this restaurant, but we wanted to at least try it. WOW were we surprised! The food was amazing, everything we ordered was prepared to perfection, and the prices are completely reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was also excellent. We were in on New Year's Eve and the efficiency of the service was impressive, there was a huge group next to us and we were impressed by the organization of taking care of a table to 2 and a table of 10 with the same care and expediency, yet with no rush. We would definitely recommend this restaurant, on every level. Enjoy!
Menu has changed. No more bruschetta. A lot of the old favorites are gone. This particular location (Fashion Place) seems to have gone downhill since Justin (manager) left to manage the downtown Brio. Service is hit or miss, and the great vibe that used to exist is gone.
Worst Brio experience. Never had one before. They removed the best salmon dish of almost any chain restaurant and brought in a tasteless dish. Don't mix fingerling potatoes with salmon. Don't set a salmon aside separate without some kind of garnish. It's just a plain salmon. No salt. No NOTHING. And it was half the size of the usual. Also replaced all the great veggies with an awful presentation of cooked spinach - also flavorless. What moron came up with this? Then the go-to favorite, the vodka pasta, has gone downhill the last year. No longer has flavor. Very bland. The sausage is no longer the same flavor and they barely put any in. The sauce used to have a great flavor - succulent. Now it's just like out of a grocery store can sauce. What's going on, Brio? We've been dozens of times. It's gone down hill.
The quality of the food is excellent, but the portion of the dish is much smaller than they used to be.
The service was not that great this time. The server was not attentive to us, but he was attentive to the tables around us.
I'm disappointed with this dining experience.
Service was great but new menu is too limited.
We went for dinner for our anniversary. They had put flowers on the table for us. Service and food were excellent and fun. Everyone congratulated us, including the general manager. As we left, the manager was there again to shake our hands, and they gave us the flowers to take home!
My wife and I went on a date. We both loved our food. The chopped salad was excellent.
I went to Brio last year for our work holiday party and I was excited to go back with my family for our Christmas Eve dinner, however I was bummed out they switched out menu. But food and service was still good.
For busy, holiday evening the few minor hiccups weee solved quickly. I will return. Thank you!
The food and service was excellent. I had lamb chops that were superb. We were seated quickly and allowed to eat at a leisurely pace. The atmosphere was comfortable and elegant.
Christmas dinner was good
Amazing everything. First time taking my knows here, I have eaten there before and have always been impressed with the service, food and ambience. Definitely will repeat more often!
The new menu is horrible, they dropped all of our favorites, most our friends feel the same
Christmas shopping dinner with family
Very good food. Friendly service. Biggest complaint is that my server wasn't attentive enough to keep drinks filled and didn't space the starter and entree properly, as the starter came out after our entrees and we had to remind him of it. Other than that, everything was great!
I love Brio. The ingredients are always fresh and very flavorful.
However, they have changed the menu recently. ALL of my favorite dishes are gone. Nothing resembling them exist anymore.
The food was still fresh and flavorful but I felt I had to settle on a choice.
I’ll go back again but I’m not in a rush to return where previously, I’d be back again within the month.
This visit was awful. Horrible service.
Our server complained to our party three separate times about how awful it was to work there, she said the manager kept yelling at her for our waters not being full.
Yet, he was completely fine with our food not being served for an HOUR after we had ordered. When we finally complained, he blamed us??
I’ve had much better service at the City Creek BRIO, we will not come to this location again.
We eat there at least ever week. And they were busy but our bruschetta -chicken and pesto was not hot enuf. The cheese barely melted, it rolled off the bread. However, that said, it’s our most fav place to go. We usually eat in the bar as my husband is severely hearing impaired and we can at least communicate.
Service was horrible. Little value for the money. Everything is ala carts. Paid $17 for 6 ravioli. Will not got back.
Very disappointed to find the menu had dropped all of the delicious options they had. I made the reservation here for my work party specifically for the menu, only to get there and see it had completely changed and there wasn’t one thing on there that I wanted. It was displeasing and the item I ordered was gross. Horrible options. Need to go back to the previous menu.
We love Brio. We have been going for years. This specific location is terrible.
Brio used to be fantastic, but they've redone their menu and their offerings are all so basic now. It wouldn't be so bad if executed well, but the food was cooked poorly too. Pan seared salmon had no sear and was flavorless. Sauteed spinach was practically raw. Asparagus overcooked. Green beans were too crunchy. Crushed potatoes were sliced and not at all crushed. Steak tasted like the grill. The only flavors any of the food had was butter, salt, and lemon. And they used way too much of all of it. Very disappointing. Won't be going back.
We had a great experience. We did have one small issue with our order and the manager went above and beyond to make the best of the situation. I would recommend eating here.
We loved the food and we received excellent service.
I was very upset to see the changes to the menu. Everything we wanted to order had been changed. The biggest disappointment was the no bruschetta.
We like going there when we shop at the mall. The food is good and they have a nice selection of items.
We have always loved Brio and have gone there often. They changed their menu on Dec 4th and our last visit was not as enjoyable. Sometimes, I wonder why chefs think they have to fix something that isn't broken. If they bring back the classics from their previous menu, we'll consider returning. The food was good but the choices were less than what they were before. Lots of spaghetti now.
My friend required a service dog. The hostess and manager were accommodating and gave us an excellent seat without making my friend feel she was a nuisance or inconvenience. Some may think this is a given according to law but there are many times my friend has been treated poorly by other restaurants despite presenting the proper card and shows written law. Brio Tuscan Grill was knowledgeable about the law which is a plus. The food was outstanding and fairly priced. The service was excellent! This is the place to go if you want to impress or have a wonderful dinning experience.
