BRIO Tuscan Grille - Marlton - The Promenade at Sagemore
The quality of the food has gone downhill. My salad was soggy and flavorless. My shrimp and eggplant was cold.
However, the bread was delicious!
The place was not crowded at all, we were the only table the server had, he kept disappearing and not very attentive. We have been before and had much better service. Very disappointing.
Brio is our favorite moderately priced Italian chain restaurant. My son loves the fresh sourdough bread, and the Salmon Fresca is the best low -cal entree I've ever had. Great place for a casual dinner out with family or friends!
One of our go-to places with the kids! But Friday night was not good. Service was very very slow in a restaurant not very crowded. My husbands steak was severely undercooked (red when he asked for well done). My steak came out fine but the 2 sides were freezing cold. I had to ask for new sides. Manager apologized and comped first round of drinks which was nice of them. We’ll go back bc the kids menu is great and we usually like the food, but will stay mindful of this issue and prob won’t go back if service is bad and slow again and our food is not good.
It was nice but we got there at 4:30 and we didn’t leave until seven. We waited quite a long time for our check. Not sure if this is usual or not. The waiter was great but just everything seemed to take long. Food was delicious.
Just wonderful. We dine here weekly and it is always a treat. Ginetta is just terrific as a server.
Table was not set- needed to ask for utensils- napkins. Had to repeatedly ask for things bc they were never brought out. Service very slow. It was not busy and it took an extremely long time for our food to come out. We were there to celebrate a great day in the family and were disappointed overall.
Was a beautiful experience, food was Excellent !! Definitely a memorable service
The food was typical of a premade restaurant. It tasted like Olive Garden in a prettier atmosphere. Overpriced flavorless Italian food. The waitress was overworked and it showed. We won’t be back. Other people there seemed to enjoy their food, it wasn’t for us.
Went for Mother’s Day brunch. The French toast with berries was a huge disappointment. The berries were soggy and looked like they were sitting on top of the French toast forever. French toast was barely warm, no syrup served with it. My omelette was good. My daughters scrambled eggs were just blah. Could have made better ones at home. Her toast was hard as a rock. Will go somewhere else next year.
we go to Brio for most holidays and have never had a problem but this mothers day was a disaster! Why would a simple cheese and mushroom omelet cause a problem? The omelet had shredded cheese and mushrooms placed in the middle - they were not cooked or melted, it was cold and it arrived 10 minutes after all the other food. The staff did not make any apologies and just kept asking do you want us to heat it up or make another? The staff should be ashamed about the way they handled the situation!
Service wax very low. It was very busy with mothers day. But I went there on Easter and it was much better service. I think the staff was a little overwhelmed. Waiting 30 minutes for coffee creamer and only to have to send it back because the coffee was cold by then was a bit crazy.
Overall would go back. The food was good.
I have always liked Brio however the noise level was so loud that talking and hearing people at our table was very difficult.
It took over an hour for us to receive our food after ordering. The waiter was nice and apologetic. The manager was not very apologetic. It was no busier than a regular Saturday night and the kitchen apparently was very backed up. A business that has been open for as long as this one should not have this issue.
Was a very busy Saturday night being before Mother’s Day and all went well.
Nice dinner, however I feel that this is just another Chain restaurant. Not outstanding. The menu is Italian Mediterranean, Some traditional Italian items not offered. Childrens menu available, family friendly.
Our dinner was fine and my 3 dining companions were very happy with their selections. I selected salmon only to be told that they were out of salmon so I selected the fish special for the evening, swordfish. I was then told that they were out of the swordfish as well but even though it wasn't on the menu there was halibut available so that was what I selected. The quality was fine but the portion was very small.
The evening we went the staff were very busy so service was slow but very friendly.
Very small quantity, if Italians ate with so small portions they would be anorexic! No Flavor and NO MEATBALLS, really
Always exceptional. Good food, great prices and wonderful service. We enjoy every visit and that is weekly. Given the service, food and prices, this has to be one of the best values anywhere.
Good food, great service! Had early evening reservations, but when we arrived we had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated although the restaurant was almost empty and we could see that the tables were already set. Our waitress was excellent and the food was good, but preparation was very slow.
We had a last minute increase to our party and the staff reacted and assured me it was not a problem. Thank you.
Just super. A real treat for us to be here every week. You cannot ask for better food and service. A tremendous value.
reservation not honored for our time we left the res
My mother ordered Pollo Caprese. There was no fresh mozzarella and there was tomato sauce on the pasta instead of pesto vinaigrette. She asked for the vinaigrette but the server brought her more tomato sauce. She was disappointed since she was just at Brio’s in Cherry Hill and ordered that dish. She loved the dish. I ordered the shrimp Capri and the shrimp was over cooked and the pasta was not cooked. We will come back when it’s not a holiday. We realize that things do slip through the cracks when it’s so busy
BRIO made eating out on this holiday a pleasure. Holidays can be crazy with long wait times. Not here. My reservation got me seated immediately and guest with no reservation waiter about 10 minutes. Restaurant was packed but noise level was very low. Food was delicious but then again it always is. I am a huge fan and a member of their reward club. This visit I got 25% off.
Our server was good, but BRIO was crowded for a Sunday early afternoon, only reason I didn't give them 5 starts. Food was excellent and hot when served. Bread was out of this world! Thank you for a very nice Easter Brunch!
great food, great service, nice place to enjoy a meal with friends and family
Nice family atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive. The eggs Benedict could have been better.I tried the Gorgonzola medallions and was disappointed.Overall , a good time for our family of 7.
Always a great treat for us, we dine here weekly. The restaurant is well managed, the staff is very courteous and friendly, and the food is delicious. We could recommend anything on the menu. It is also a great value and we consider this a must try restaurant!
Brio can get a little noisy and hectic on the weekends in the main dining room but sitting on the porch is wonderful. Not as noisy and more space between tables. The food was very good and the service was excellent.
We really enjoy our weekly visit to Brio. It is an attractive, will managed eatery. The room is very attractive and everything is kept spotless. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, you will be made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The menu is loaded with delicious items, I bet we have tried most everything over the years down, and, you they are all terrific.
We at out in the patio and were the only people out there in that large space. Half way through our meal they brought in two women and a child, two VERY LOUD women and a child with an iPad watching a movie without headphones. They were seated at the closest table to us..... 30 open tables and they sat them right next to us. We finished quickly and left.
Our service was great and the food was delicious. A little noisy, but the private booth helped.
Our experience was good...not great. The service was a little laxed, but perhaps a Friday night is not the night for us to meet at Brio. I was once at this location on a Monday evening, and everything was GREAT! The food was good!
Average Italian classics that for this part of the world can be found as good or better at any diner or pizza shop.
We dine here a lot. It was not very good when we were there Friday night. Service was very very slow. And the portion sizes seemed to have changed with the new menu. The caprese appetizer was tiny tomato slices and tiny bits of cheese. And my spaghetti entree was smaller as well. Plus, the dressings and flavors were off. Place was busy so I felt that everyone just seemed overwhelmed.
There were a ton of little kids running all around. We got our appetizers before our drinks and the waitress stated that she was waiting on my martini. That is not an acceptable answer. The food itself has gone significantly down hill yet the prices go up. The cost for a filet at Brio is more than I paid at Flemings and half the quality.
