All food was good but chicken marsala was overcooked and a little tough
I was treated to dinner by my Son and his Fiance in honor of Mothers Day. We came on the Monday after Mothers Day. Definitely was not crowded.
Waiterveas pleasant. Did not act pro active in that he did not offer info for Fish of The Day. Did not describe any entree ordered. Plate were disappointedly small.portion. $24 for Salmon .Food was delicious. Slightly cool. I had salmon with asparagus etc. I am a seafood kinky. This did was delicious but cool. Presentation was appealing. Son got chicken Carbonaro which was mostly noodle. Little chicken. No never or other side dishes. Again. Disappointing . For the rating and prices I was disappointed. Inflated reputation did Not meet my expectations. Staff still.in shell shock from.Mothers day.
I am ambivalent about recommending to friends.
My family usually enjoys coming here. Though it was Mother’s Day, 1 1/2 of the four dining areas was fairly empty. Despite that, our order took more than 45 mins to arrive. My chicken was hard and tasted like a bottle of salad dressing was poured over it and my pasta was cold. They tried to fix it, but it was well after my family had eaten and the chicken and pasta arrived separately. This was a disappointing experience, especially given the occasion.
I used to love Brio because it was elegant, good food and no surprises. This last visit, however, was very disappointing and something has drastically changed. The restaurant is strikingly elegant and it is a nice atmosphere - although very loud. We were given bread and butter to begin with but no silverware. We didn't receive silverware until AFTER we received salads. I had the shrimp and lobster fettuccini and it was awful. Luke warm and the fettuccini was all stuck together and would not separate. There were only a couple very small pieces of lobster. The wait person was trying hard and did a nice job but she couldn't overcome the fact that they were actually out of silverware and the food was very average. We waited forever for the food as well. She apologized profusely about the slow service but there was nothing she could do I guess. I'll probably take Brio off my list.
So we’ve now been here 3 times. 1st time (about a year ago) was great. Last 2 times the food was great but the service was terrible. We unfortunately had the same waitress twice and so I am not sure if it’s just her or the entire staff is just not well trained (because we saw complaints all around this time). The time previous to this past time wasn’t super busy and this particular waitress was terrible so I know it is not due to it being busy on Mother’s Day (which was the GM’s excuse to us this time; we didn’t complain last time). This review is for this last (and probably final) time we came to BRIO: We arrived after making reservations for 6:15 and still had to wait almost a half hour to be sat. We sit down, and there’s no silverware and the waitress doesn’t come to the table for about 15 more mins after we sit. We go to order drinks and we are debating about what to get and she says ‘Oh this other tables needs me; I’ll be right back’ and has the nerve to walk away! Then she comes back about 10 more minutes later (so now we’ve been sitting for 25 minutes; 55 minutes later than our reservation due to the initial wait time) and takes our drink order. As she’s taking it, someone comes up to our table from another table and starts talking to her! We were appalled. We should’ve left right then, but we were starving. She finally takes the drink order and we also place our kids meal order for our son. Another 10 mins or so goes by and she finally shows up with the bottle of wine and drink for our son. No bread yet; and she tries to walk away before taking our appetizer/salad/entree order. We interject her leaving and say we’d like to get a Caprese app and Caesar salad to start and ask if we can get some bread with olive oil/vinegar? She walks away and we continue to wait, and wait and wait...no kids order comes out (takes 45 minutes for that to come and that’s AFTER she asks us ‘Oh, it didn’t come yet? Let me check on that’) I guess that’s all they’ll let me write lol
We’ve been there many times for holiday dinners but yesterday (Mother’s Day) the service was slow, food came out cold, and they didn’t seem as busy as other holidays.
Mothers Day. Good food as always. Value is good, but always afraid there will be a price increase. Please keep prices, as they are, because it makes this nice restaurant, affordable. We always come to Brio for all our special occasions, because I love Chicken Lemone ‼️Thank you!
We were so disappointed in our experience on Mother’s Day that they’ve lost customers that will never go back. Terrible service and food, and not a manager in sight. Truly an awful experience.
Service was very slow. We did not even have place settings on our table and had to ask another waiter who was walking by. Waiting for water refills was painful. Overall, the prices you pay are not worth the food and service you receive. I would not return.
Super busy on Mother’s Day and our server was overwhelmed. Took over 30 minutes to take our order. Never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. After another 40 minutes went by, we flagged down a hostess as she walked by and before we even finished our question, she snapped that she would get the manager. We asked about when our food would be ready, and were told it would come soon. It did and it was cold. It was a poor experience. Not at all what we had previously experienced at Brio.
Waited well over an hour for our food. When it arrived, my wife’s sale was missing feta cheese and dressing. It was clear, the kitchen was not at all staffed properly for Mother’s Day. The restaurant manager should be fired.
Service was poor, had to ask for complimentary breadbasket. Silverware was dirty and had to be replaced. Food was lukewarm as it sat on the warmer too long. Would not go there again for Mother's Day.
Service was slow, , food was delivered warm at best, one items was wrong and one items was forgotten. Forgotten items showed up 6 minutes later after most of us had already started. They did comp the one item, will be hard pressed to return
They seemed a little short handed as the service was slow, but the servers were all friendly. The food was great and reasonably priced. The coffee there is nice.
We had a very good Mother's Day brunch!
Park Meadows Brios gets a low rating because the hostess that seated us was extremely rude. We were there on Mother's Day. We were called promptly and followed the hostess. She sat us at the only table that had not been set up tho' there were many empty tables with settings. When asked if our table was going to be set, she barely grunted. She then proceeded to toss the menus down!!! I asked a passing waitress to call the manager for us. He was profusely apologetic. We still had to ask for our silverware! We made the best of the meal, but this treatment left me very upset on an occasion that was supposed to be special. They need to have hosts/hostesses who actually smile and are polite and are nice to their diners.
We love this restaurant but greatly disappointed in the Mother’s Day brunch. The Sicilian omelette was one of the worst omelets I’ve ever had. How can you mess up an omelette? No cheese in it even though it was supposed to have cheese, dry, hard eggs. Brunch options not impressive- Especially for Mother’s Day
I'm not used to cities, it was a Saturday, so it was loud and busy. Everything took a long time. The flatbread was cold and the waitress did bring us a warm one, but it took her 20 minutes to come and check in us. Everything was yummy.
When we got there it didn't seem like they were expecting us and the manager was about to tell me we had to take the table they were seating us at because that was all they had open. It took a while for us to get menus and drinks but after our orders were in, it went very smooth. The food was really tasty overall except for the 6$ house salad that didn't have much flavor and We ended up not eating it. Otherwise, all our apps and meals were amazing. The shrimp and eggplant app was the most amazing dish we had that night. The prices were a bit high but the evening with friends was a success.
The lunch services was excellent. Angelo, my server, was very friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient. Made the entire lunch experience even better. Food and drink were done just right and I appreciate the rewards offers and price.
It was Prom for my daughter and her friends. They wanted something special so I suggested Brio. They loved it, however the wait staff wasn’t very friendly. I get it, giggling girls and such, but the staff has the ability to make it the most special event or not. Good rule of thumb if a young person is eating in the establishment it is because of a parent or loved one that eats there. Be good to them and for sure the adult will recommend more, even the young adult may too.
Food was cold. Appetizers came almost with dinner
Delicious and will be going back again and again! 💕💕
Brio used to be our family favorite, we returned after a few years and were deeply disappointed. We were dining for an early dinner on Easter, the restaurant wasn't even remotely packed, only about 10 tables; staff were lingering around and weren't tending to dirty tables, floors, seats, more than crumbs, there were chunks of food under our table in particular. This was very unappetizing seeing how filthy it was- makes you question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I can understand they must have had a busy brunch and lunch, but to consistently have staff walk by messes and not clean is crazy. We placed one drink order late and were later told we had to wait until the bartender finished stocking the supplies in the back. Our waitress didn't seem to genuinely care even we addressed these concerns to the manager. We waited a while for our meals, very slow service considering the restaurant was 2/3rds vacant. We will not return.
Great meal, slightly delayed service given Easter Brunch crowd - but all in all 👍
Easter Sunday HUGE disaster! The restaurant was busy, but not packed. We were seated, ordered a simple meal. And waited a FULL HOUR for food. When our meal FINALLY came, it was ice cold. The asparagus was B quality, and stringy. The omelette was ice cold, and the ham that was supposed to be in it, was not there. Dred out doughy bisquit with the eggs benedict. 😡 Food was NOT EDIBLE. Waitress was very nice. Manager came over, and apologized, and offered one piece of cheesecake to take home. We waited another 20 minutes for the cheesecake. When we got home, we decided to share the cheesecake. It was grainy! Never had such a piece of garbage in my life. Every recipe was stretched and altered for a higher profit margin. Cheesecake barely had any cream cheese in it.. . . .using flour instead! What a disappointment! We have gone to Brio for years. Whimpy small portions, with recipes to stretch their profits. More going on here than a bad chef. Brio needs a full shakedown on menu quality and recipes. Nothing good here but a beautiful room to sit in!
Our review is based on Easter lunch. They were clearly not ready for a big crowd. Our rating on service was NOT on our server who worked hard. It was on poor management. Plates of food ready to be run to tables were piled up just waiting. Took forever to get a kids pasta and two entree salads. Managers standing around staring at the food instead of running it. We like coming here and will again but NEVER on a holiday.
This was the third visit in a row that our food came out cold after a long wait. My daughter's order was wrong and my order was served cold. I sent it back and it came back was at best after waiting 15 minutes for eggs and potatoes. The table behind us had a similar experience. The waitress was very apologetic about the food served cold.
I do not recommend this location until management can figure out how to serve hot food in a reasonable time frame. My family will not be eating at this location again.
Our server on Easter Sunday was phenomenal and it was a special event on Easter. The Pesto Pasta and Bolognese pasta dishes we ordered were very dry and the Chicken Marsala was not good. Cocktails were good and overall it was a nice experience with family.
Great place , great food, love the Beef carpaccio, lamb chops
Food was fine but they seemed to be very understaffed.
Took 45 minutes from seating to getting food served.
Everything was great. Spaghetti carbonara was perfect.
Host forgot to check in our Open Table reservation and cancelled it, and when we called afterwards to say we had been there they would not restore cancelled Open Table points. Very disappointing. We contacted Open Table and they credited our reservation though, so while we won’t be going back to this restaurant we will be sure to use Open Table to make our reservations.
Crab cake was very well prepared and it's true, it is more crab than cake! The chopped salad was delicious as well as the Frozen Peach Bellini.
We were bit aware that there was a local prom thst booked several tables at this location. Had we known we would have chose another venu
Our wait staff was attentive, and our food was equally enjoyable at this inviting restaurant.
Everything about our visit was great except for the service. Poor girl was brand new and really struggled with being timely. We had to wait for water, drinks, food took forever. Fortunately we were having a great time talking with the other 2 couples so it wasn’t too painful.
Love this restaurant. Eat there at least once every other week
Was disappointed in food as well as service at Brio. Have had outstanding experiences there in the past.
The chicken was overdone and there was minimal sauce in the pasta and chicken. We asked for more sauce, it took at least 10 minutes for it to come. The bread and crackers were awesome tho!
