The food tonight was not as good as normal. The chopped salad was half the normal size, the chicken was burned, dry and quite tasteless, while the cheeseburger was overdone and bland. They must have had a different cook in the kitchen tonight. He should be fired for ruining our regular meal.

Lobster bisque was delicious. Food was good. Service started out real good, and then we could not find the waiter to settle up, but all in all, I was not disappointed.

Very, very disappointed in the food and service! The service was lacking attention. No follow up on our meal. My husband’s special fish of the night, branzino, was seriously 2 ounces in size. Branzino is paper thin, so should be a larger cut. We’ve ordered branzino at other restaurants and this was at least 1/4-1/3 the size it should have been! It was the last piece in the kitchen at 5:30, as I had wanted it as well, so maybe that’s what you get for ordering the very last piece. However, at $28.00, certainly not worth it. When the waiter, who never checked in on our meal, picked up our plates, I mentioned how small the branzino was. He didn’t say a word. Wow, thanks for caring! We’ll take our business elsewhere! My cod was good, shared with my hungry husband. Went out for ice cream after. :(

We got sat in the bar area. Didn’t seem romantic at all. Our server constantly forgot about us, I ordered a martini and he came around to see if we needed anything then remembered I ordered a martini. At that point I had already had my dinner and was ready to go home when he finally wanted to bring me my drink. He didn’t come back to refill my water either and I was super thirsty. Servers overall attitude wasn’t pleasant. We usually love this place but last night was not good at all.

It was supposed to be a romantic night - Valentine's Day at a restaurant with a favorable reputation. But, unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, knowing that the restaurant would be busy. We were okay with waiting for a few minutes, but we figured our reservation would help. We waited... and waited... for 30 minutes AFTER our reservation time. We were seated in a large booth, next to a few empty tables. I'm not sure why we waited so long, or why we were seated in the booth, since we only had a party of two.

Our waitress was friendly and we ordered drinks right away, along with an appetizer, which was supposed to be free from their rewards program. We waited approximately 20 minutes before our waitress came back to see if we wanted to order food. We had now been at the restaurant for nearly an hour after our reservation, and we were just now able to order food. After having way too much time to review the menu, we quickly ordered two pasta entrees: pasta alla vodka and campanelle carbonara. The food arrived about 40 minutes later, though the rest of the restaurant at this point was only about 60% full. Both dishes tasted very good. We were tempted to order a dessert, but we didn't want to extend our "date night" any further, knowing that it would take them far too long to make and deliver the dessert. We asked for our bill and it was promptly delivered. We immediately noticed that the appetizer was not free, though we told our waitress of the coupon earlier in the night. She blamed the mistake on "the other guys", but I'm fairly certain it's the waitress' responsibility to have an accurate bill. It took another 20-30 minutes to get the bill fixed and to get our credit card back.

I wish I could have given a higher rating because the food was great. But this place was not equipped to handle a busy evening. If I knew we would be at the restaurant for just under three hours, we would have ordered take out.

Went there for Valentines Day with two other couples. Higher prices, smaller quantities and rushed service. One of the couples was there for the time and said they will not be going back.

Food was pretty average for the price. My friend agreed. I got the chicken limone (20-21$) and she got a dish with angel hair pasta. We had enough for leftovers, but I am not really looking forward to eating it.

Was disappointed with the veal special. Cardboard-like taste. Tough. Not what I’m used to getting at decent Italian restaurants. Won’t be back, or at least won’t order veal again.

Made a last minute lunch reservation with some girlfriends for my friend Emily’s birthday today at Brio and it was very much worth it. Made the reservation less than an hour beforehand, with a note that it was celebrating my friend’s 25th, but when we arrived my friend received a handwritten card wishing her happy birthday with a coupon for a free app for next time. Very much appreciated! The only downside is the price of the food, which was a little higher than expected. None of the entrees, even the sandwiches, sat below $12. I had the pesto pasta which was delicious. My friends both started with the lobster bisque, with they both described as “amazing”. Then my one friend had the kale salad which she really enjoyed and the other had the mushroom ravioli which she also would recommend. Portion sizes were comparable to what you would expect from an Italian restaurant, both pasta dishes had leftovers. Our server was attentive without being annoying. Overall we all agreed over the birthday girl’s complimentary tiramisu that we will be back!
