Always have a nice time there. Food is good. Only complaint was the server. She kept disappearing and it was not a busy day.
Shrimp Risotto and Broiled lobster was great. Vodka pasta was over cooked and runny. Cheesecake was excellent.
Our server was sloppy and I've had better service at a Denny's. He did not even know what balsamic vinegar was. Looking at the waitstaff they all seemed inexperienced with very little etiquette. At these prices your better off at Maggiano's or trying somewhere else.
They let us stay and visit and don’t rush us. The food and service are great.
Brio (Bravo in Indianapolis) has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I have to say that my pasta dish was not as good as usual, but everything else was delicious! Was a very large portion. My husband got one of the risotto dishes and his portion was on the lighter side. All in all it was a deceit meal but slightly disappointing.
Decor was nice, salmon risotto was good ,sourdough bread was excellent but overall it just didn't measure up for being a classier chain restaurant.
Server wasn’t the most friendly but otherwise great food and and a great time!
Couldn’t have been better- everything was excellent.
As always this was a delicious lunch. We enjoyed our lunch and our business meeting.
The food & service is OUTSTANDING. It's a very special restaurant.
went for lunch had barada and salad both were great waiter was great too
Treated a friend to a birthday lunch who had never been to Brio. She loved it. The server was great. He was always there, but not hovering. The restaurant had a birthday card on the table for her which was a special touch. We had a wonderful afternoon.
I noted it was a business meal, yet we were seated in crowded front area at small table when larger booths were available elsewhere. Additionally, we were seated next to a family with young children/baby that made it difficult to concentrate and have a conversation.
Brio fit in an extra five people to our large group, made everyone feel welcome. Servers were fabulous, food so good!, we had a lovely party!
A nice lunch.
Stop at Brio when I am in the area. Food and Service have always been excellent.
The brunch ham and biscuit Benedict was amazing! The potatoes were also wonder and I would highly recommend!
Had a reservation for a table. Sat at the bar for a drink and decided to have dinner at the bar. The bartender was wonderful.
Appetizers were great
Very stingy with butter had to request 2x
Flatbread is excellent
Lasagna was nothing special
Risotto was not good. A quick dish. Beef tornados were over cooked. Service spotty. Unfortunate because we have dined here regularly for many years but this last visit was not enjoyable.
My family, friends, and I really enjoy the ambience at Brio in Lombard, Illinois.
The service is excellent and the food is delicious. We especially enjoy going there on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries because they take extra special care of you:)
Best steak ever
This was my first visit here an it was for a celebration of a friend who was recently promoted. I mentioned it in the reservation and they adorned the table with rose petals and a personalized card congratulating her along with a free appetizer. There was a slight error on one dish that we were fine with, but they bent over backwards to offer something as an apology. The waiter was great. I can’t wsit to go back.
We were celebrating a birthday! Our birthday girl received a nice card with a free appetizer on her next visit! She also received a complimentary dessert! Our food was excellent! Our server was very attentive and did not rush us!
Great for a birthday lunch. Made the person with birthday feel very special.
Great service - very good food
The food tonight was not as good as normal. The chopped salad was half the normal size, the chicken was burned, dry and quite tasteless, while the cheeseburger was overdone and bland. They must have had a different cook in the kitchen tonight. He should be fired for ruining our regular meal.
Lobster bisque was delicious. Food was good. Service started out real good, and then we could not find the waiter to settle up, but all in all, I was not disappointed.
Very, very disappointed in the food and service! The service was lacking attention. No follow up on our meal. My husband’s special fish of the night, branzino, was seriously 2 ounces in size. Branzino is paper thin, so should be a larger cut. We’ve ordered branzino at other restaurants and this was at least 1/4-1/3 the size it should have been! It was the last piece in the kitchen at 5:30, as I had wanted it as well, so maybe that’s what you get for ordering the very last piece. However, at $28.00, certainly not worth it. When the waiter, who never checked in on our meal, picked up our plates, I mentioned how small the branzino was. He didn’t say a word. Wow, thanks for caring! We’ll take our business elsewhere! My cod was good, shared with my hungry husband. Went out for ice cream after. :(
Great food and great service will definitely return!!
We got sat in the bar area. Didn’t seem romantic at all. Our server constantly forgot about us, I ordered a martini and he came around to see if we needed anything then remembered I ordered a martini. At that point I had already had my dinner and was ready to go home when he finally wanted to bring me my drink. He didn’t come back to refill my water either and I was super thirsty. Servers overall attitude wasn’t pleasant. We usually love this place but last night was not good at all.
It was supposed to be a romantic night - Valentine's Day at a restaurant with a favorable reputation. But, unfortunately, we will not be returning.
We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, knowing that the restaurant would be busy. We were okay with waiting for a few minutes, but we figured our reservation would help. We waited... and waited... for 30 minutes AFTER our reservation time. We were seated in a large booth, next to a few empty tables. I'm not sure why we waited so long, or why we were seated in the booth, since we only had a party of two.
Our waitress was friendly and we ordered drinks right away, along with an appetizer, which was supposed to be free from their rewards program. We waited approximately 20 minutes before our waitress came back to see if we wanted to order food. We had now been at the restaurant for nearly an hour after our reservation, and we were just now able to order food. After having way too much time to review the menu, we quickly ordered two pasta entrees: pasta alla vodka and campanelle carbonara. The food arrived about 40 minutes later, though the rest of the restaurant at this point was only about 60% full. Both dishes tasted very good. We were tempted to order a dessert, but we didn't want to extend our "date night" any further, knowing that it would take them far too long to make and deliver the dessert. We asked for our bill and it was promptly delivered. We immediately noticed that the appetizer was not free, though we told our waitress of the coupon earlier in the night. She blamed the mistake on "the other guys", but I'm fairly certain it's the waitress' responsibility to have an accurate bill. It took another 20-30 minutes to get the bill fixed and to get our credit card back.
I wish I could have given a higher rating because the food was great. But this place was not equipped to handle a busy evening. If I knew we would be at the restaurant for just under three hours, we would have ordered take out.
Long wait for food. But otherwise good!
Dined for first time for Valentine's Day. We loved it!! They offered some unique appetizers and different entrees. All of which we enjoyed.
Went there for Valentines Day with two other couples. Higher prices, smaller quantities and rushed service. One of the couples was there for the time and said they will not be going back.
Just great, we been there since it was open. Never disappointed.
Food was pretty average for the price. My friend agreed. I got the chicken limone (20-21$) and she got a dish with angel hair pasta. We had enough for leftovers, but I am not really looking forward to eating it.
Fantastic from ghe moment we walked in.
Celebrated a birthday. Rose petals and bday card with a free appetizer next time we came. We will be back.
Asked for a quieter space and they had one
Outstanding service. Delicious food. It waz our first time and we loved it.
It was hectic that evening and we could never find our waiter for somethings like bread and ask a question...
Food and service were both outstanding. Easy to reach location with plenty of parking.
The Black Pepper Shrimp / Eggplant appetizer was very good. Everything was delicious.
