BRIO Tuscan Grille - Liberty Township - Liberty Center
The restaurant was very noisy and servers were dropping what seems like everything and anything all night long. I ended up with some type of creamy dip splattered on my coat that was on the back of my chair. I was drinking out of a chipped glass all night. No offer to adjust the check for the inconveniences. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area I visit before, or if, I return.
Birthdays for mom and dad
We had 730 reservations and were told it would be at least 815. We ended up eating in the bar area We asked twice for bread and never got it. We eat here regularly and this was by far our worst experience
unforgiveably overbooked. arrived at 710 for 715 reservation. reservation was confirmed and we were told we would be seated in a "few" minutes. At 819 they were still seating the 700 reservations.
once seated (I never wait 45 minutes for a table, let alone 65..) the server was very good.
I often order carpaccio and did this occasion, but the arugula was not nice.
The manager had a responsibility 1) to not overbook to such a great degree and 2) to honestly apprise patrons of the very foreseeable extended wait they should expect.
The wait was foreseeable inasmuch as after overbooking, one of the busboys, who was ill, was denied leave to go home. His being treated thusly prompted 3 busboys to quit on the spot, and triggering even more work for the remaining staff, and further delays.
Great food, food got to the table faster then expected, service was outstanding, our server Harrison cared a lot about making sure my food was safe for me to eat with my allergies and was very personable and socialable, it really enhanced the service, it was very packed (understandably so for Valentine’s Day) so we had to wait past our reservation time to get in but it was very worth it, overall I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant again!!
Brio was crazy crowded on Valentine’s Day. Our table was a foot and half from the next table. Not easy to have a conversation. Noisy. Food was fine. Not great. Won’t go here for Valentine’s Day again.
Rough night for the restaurant. Valentine's Day and a Friday. The place was packed and noisy. The food was good, but not great. The restaurant had obviously split some of what we're normally tables for four into tables for two to accommodate the higher traffic. We felt like we were on top of other guests. You couldn't help but hear other tables' conversations. Just doesn't make for a "romantic" experience for Valentine's Day. To top it all off, the restaurant did not check us in for our Open Table reservation, so I didn't get credited initially. Had to challenge the no show.
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. Our server was attentive, pleasant, and hard-working. She gave us excellent service. Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Great overall experience.
Went early on Valentine’s Day. Had quick and friendly service. Will be going again.
Seating arrangements for Valentine’s Day was not the best. Crammed tables together too close for comfort.
Excellent food especially the pasta Alla vodka and service by Ashley
We had a reservation for 7:15PM. We stood waiting to be seated until 7:50PM. We could see multiple tables that were left empty that were not being bussed. There was one table that sat empty we saw when we arrived that we were finally seated at 40 minutes later. We had to ask our waitress for bread. One member of our group ordered a Wedge Salad, and it came drenched in dressing. The artichoke and spinach dip came to the table brown all the way around the edge. As much as I enjoy Brio, this visit was a total disappointment.
We have just re-discovered Brio. We came when it first opened and honestly weren’t impressed but decided to come back and are so glad we did. The service is fabulous the ambience of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is the icing on the cake. We are now “regulars “ !
Great service from Brittany.
Server was awful. Served tea without ice. Had to ask for lemons and ice 2 times. Never received salads we ordered. When pasta arrived it was not hot and dried like it had been sitting out waiting to be served. Server checked on us 1 time at the end of the meal. When asked about salads to ensure they were not on bill she said oh ok I’ll be sure they are taken off.
For overall service. I would go again, because I have had good meals at other locations, it was just disappointing this time.
Brio’s is our “go to” family celebration place. The food was great as usual with one exception. Several of us ordered from the brunch menu. Our meals came with toast but no jam or jelly any where in the place. If you are serving a brunch menu which includes toast, there should be something to put on that toast. No one ate their toast. Otherwise, a fabulous place to dine!
The server took 20 minutes to get us our drinks and they weren't busy a all and the bar wasn't busy either, She also told me she didn't think they had bourbon after a customer of mine asked for it. She gave my NY strip to my customer (which he loved) and I got stuck with his order of a overcooked ribeye, She asked if we wanted our food boxed which my wife did, we got home and she had bagged the left over brochette instead of the left over chicken parm. I ordered lobster bisq soup that never came out so she asked if i wanted to take it home, i said yes, she did not take it off the bill. I severed and bar tended for a few years and rarely complain as I know sometime things are out of the servers hands or they can have an off night but this was ridiculous especially for taking out of town clients too.. I wrote into them a few weeks ago and never heard back... Ill never go back
A favorite restaurant of ours! Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Awesome place , food was great as well! Will definitely be coming back :)
Have been to Brio's quite a few times. Saturday evening was a disappointment. The service was just ok and the food was not very good. My husband ordered a medium rare steak and it came out rare. My chicken Milanese lacked flavor. The server forgot my wine. The manager did come to our table and apologized for the steak. We also noticed him talking to another table about the food. We used to enjoy Brio's.
The food was ok - Bit too much salt for Italian food. Server was missing for a long time and the food took a long time to come
Pricy for what you get. Some of the meals were great, others OK, mine poor. Lots of grissel on a 28 dollar steak, served luke warm. Asparagus under-cooked. Drinks fine, calamari fine. Chicken dried out.
Manager comped my meal and offered to get me another steak, but I didn't want to be eating at a different time as the rest of the table and just took it home. Husband ate it the next day.
I have had better experiences at this restaurant, but this day wasn't on of them.
Food tasted good but drinks and food were pricey
Food was great and our waiter was excellent. Enjoyed our evening very much.
Loved the olives !!!
Love the food and atmosphere at Brio Liberty Center, but the wait staff always takes to long to get drinks or to stop back and see if you need anything. It does take a little longer to get food once you order it. We eat out a lot and have a realistic view of how long it should take.
We had a great time at Brio on New Year's Eve! The food was wonderful! Everyone loved it. The Peach Bellini's were amazing and the service was perfect! Fun night!
Service is fine, food is nothing special, sorry to say.
We enjoyed our dinner at Brio very much on New Year's Eve. The service was very good, and Shelby was personable and did a really nice job of taking good care of us. We had one minor issue and she promptly took care of it and we were pleased with how it was handled. We will definitely come back!
New Years Eve Dinner was absolutely outstanding ! Harrison was our server and made our experience simply amazing !
The person who seated us made no eye contact and tossed the menus on the table after we sat down. Our server was polite and personable. It was New Years Eve but seemed exceptionally chaotic with patrons milling around the restaurant looking for their group. I found this very distracting. I ordered a salmon salad but the salmon was not cooked to planing. It was “mushy”. The manager did come to our table and have another dinner prepared for me. Again, it was a distraction from our dining experience. I don’t think we will be back.
BRIO is one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati and also one of the most affordable.
We had reservations. Since we arrived an hour early, I asked if a table was ready before our designated time that we be seated early. We sat at the bar enjoying drinks and appetizers and soon it was time for our designated reservation time. To my dismay, the hostess had canceled my reservation and then promptly forgot that we were waiting at the bar. When my husband went to ask how much longer, the hostess said she could add us to the bottom of the list...not acceptable!
I understand that it was Christmas Eve, but it also happened to be my birthday. I rarely get to have dinner out for my birthday and am used to sharing it with everyone. This year was unusual in that it was just the five of us celebrating.
I had to go up and remind the head host what he had promised me well over an hour before. He did get us a table and it ended up being almost 30 minutes after our original reservation time.
We did not cause a scene, nor did I ask to speak to a manager. I will not be back; one should not need to call for a manager in order to get treated properly.
Food quality has significantly declined. Service was slow and poor.
We were rushed from the minute we sat down until we left. We ordered salads and when they came the server was behind the salad server with our dinner. We came for a festive Christmas Eve and you could tell the restaurant was overwhelmed. Very poor experience.
We waited 30+ minutes past our reservation time. The kitchen was overloaded they forgot our appetizers and brought them out after the meal. We really liked our server he was just frazzled and running around however due to the amount of stress placed on the service team for the backlog. Our drinks were missed.
Christmas Eve. Wonderful dinner and service. Sat in the back room so it was very quiet.
