BRIO Tuscan Grille - Las Vegas - Tivoli Village
Celebrated a birthday dinner at the Town Square/Las Vegas location in August and it was very good. On this visit to the Tivoli Village location, we had a large party celebrating a birthday. Although the service was very good, the restaurant was extremely crowded and so noisy. Portions were extremely small, for example, some of our party ordered pasta dishes and they were basically a child's portion and not very good either. Seafood dishes also contained very very tiny pieces of shrimp in a watery sauce. Chicken dishes were a tad better. The sad thing about this restaurant is there is nothing included (soup/salad), with the entrees, all ala carte. And the prices for the entrees are not cheap. Again, portions are awful. The sad and disappointing point to this review is the bill for this celebration was very high.
For a party of 13 ... u would think there will be atleast 2 servers... our server I had to look for every so often so we can order our main course. she has 4 other tables with our large group.. i think the manager should have assigned another server.. food is good as always.
The food was delicious as usual, it was a little noisy, but I will certainly return as Brio is one of my favourite places to go to for special occassions, also my good friends. I did forget to mention to our server that I had a 25% discount on dinner, so hopefully next time I will remember. Our server was great!
Service was good, food took a little long to be served. I was not impressed with the food, satisfactory. Loved the ambiance.
Great food, great service. Reasonable prices. Clean and quiet.
Great food and I love the luncheon special menu. You can get soup and a salad at a very nice price. Randy, our waiter, is the best! He made good suggestions and checked back to make sure everything is perfect. Will definitely request him when we come back.
The Lasagna was perfect and The Salmon was mouthwatering.
I have always given this restaurant high marks, but this visit was a disappointment. The food was great, as usual, and it was Happy Hour, so the prices were very good, but the service was horrible. However, I believe that was NOT the fault of the servers, who seemed to be trying their best. Management screwed up by not having NEARLY enough staff to handle a Happy Hour crowd. Diners were unhappy and servers were stressed. We had gone there for dinner, not for Happy Hour prices, but I like the bar area, so that is where we sat. But it appeared that even the few people sitting in the main dining area were getting slow service. Neither the bar nor the dining area was very crowded, but there were just not enough servers on hand to handle demand. Management was being either very cheap or very disorganized in not having better staffing plans. I am sure that the Happy Hour menu attracts a fair number of customers, but it is pointless to bring people in only to disappoint them.
I love the Brio but this visit was far below par. We were seated out on the patio in the sun and after waiting more than 15 minutes for someone to come out even to bring us water I had to go to the hostess to let her know. Then finally a woman came out and we were able to order 2 glasses of water and get menus, she brought us the water without straws we asked for straws but she never brought the straws I eventually had to go in to the bar area and get straws. We were extremely thirsty sitting outside in the sun.
A little while later she came back to take our order then noticed that I had the straws she said oh sorry. Our food finally arrived from someone else. Shortly after that the server Michael came out and introduced himself and said he would be taking care of us. He was great and very apologetic for our experience. This was a gathering for my birthday so I would’ve preferred that the start of it would’ve been the best. I won’t let this bad experience effect my return, hopefully it won’t happen again.
The restaurant seemed to be understaffed for lunch. Took quite a bit of time for drinks and food to arrive. This location has done better in the past.
Great spot for happy hour. Good food and drinks.
Service was slow from the beginning. 20 minutes before we ordered wine and another 10 before served
.it was all downhill after that. We were seated next to a large party. I asked the hostess for another table. She CV refused saying the next section was closed.
The food was great! We loved the lunch specials; perfect portions. We also had the best waiter, Randy. He helped with the choices and was very attentive. Made our experience even better.
We celebrated my dads birthday. Food was perfect, service was ok (for the first time), drinks were amazing. I think our server was spread too thin... BRIO is always the best!
Normally I would rate this restaurant 5 Stars. The reason for the 3 Star rating is solely based upon the receptionist, for the second time, failing to record our attendance. Instead, for the second time, the receptionist recorded us as a “No Show”. This resulted in unnecessary email back and forth between Open Table and me as the customer. It also resulted in a telephone call by a general manager (from another location). All this could have been avoided if proper training was accomplished. And, a big if, IF the staff member cared enough to record our attendance properly. Based upon the greetings we’ve receive at the receptionist desk, I’m not overly confident they do care, despite our being members of their loyalty program. All that said, our server, Amanda, and the food were excellent. The only other flaw was not having wine delivered with our food. I had to request my wine twice. Once when my order was taken, and again when the food was delivered. We will certainly give this Brio location another chance, but it will be their last chance.
Came in for my 26th Wedding Anniversary, put that specifically on the reservation, didn't get squat. Usually the waiter acknowledges that info but nothing....horrible experience overall.
Our daughters birthday celebration went well. Great food and service. Thank you staff.
Service was a little slow, and the salmon was way over cooked. But the overall experience was nice. We're regulars and know that the weekends tend to be prone to errors
We sat outside. The weather was gorgeous. The service and food were excellent
Great food, the chef came to our table and and gave a recommendation. Everything turned out great and it was a fantastic start to our 14 year anniversary date.
Birthday dinner for our mother.
Absolutely wonderful! This Brio on Rampart is definitely going to be our go-to spot for any business or personal special occasions!
I just feel that every time I visit the Brio that I have to lower my standards when it comes to the taste and quality of the food. My dinner was served almost on the cold side. It was not even tepid. I tasted my granddaughters' childs' plate of chicken parm and it was overly spiced and fried too long. I can't seem to walk out of the Brio ever saying to myself that the meal was really good and, yes, I don't know why I keep coming back. But that is going to change.
Always love going to this restaurant. Friendly staff and food is great
Frank was our server outstanding service and the food was excellent
The food is always good and fresh- Frank the waiter just makes it even better- love the lobster bisque!
Always consistent, staff fabulous, and the chef comes to our table and says hello...love this place
Shrimp Polenta was excellent!
I went to BRIO with a friend for lunch. The menu was very nice with a good variety of items to choose from. We both ordered from the lunch menu - a nice salad and small marguerite flat bed. Both were delicious. The salads had just the right amount of dressing. Our server was very nice and did his job well. The restaurant's ambiance was perfect and we had a very relaxing time. The prices were very reasonable.
Brio is the best! Great food and friendly staff. Can’t go wrong with most items on the menu.
Our Server was very friendly, will be back for sure
Disappointed with the food. Food is usually very good not this time. Table bread and crackers were stale.
Nice place, good good, perfect Service.
We love Brio; the staff and the food. Very consistent!
Spaghetti Pomodoro was dry. Mushroom Ravioli was very salty. We may not be back for a long while!
Always fun to go to Brio. Nice place to catch up with friends. Love the lobster bisque!
Really delicious and and not too expensive. And it’s family owned! Even better.
Happy Hour slammed with one bartender....obviously didn't plan for Labor Day crowd. Still really good food, just a little slow.
Our waiter was somewhat forgetful. Asked for a couple things and he forgot. There was a little baby /toddler who kept screaming
Our server was very friendly and helpful, despite forgetting to record our Open Table reservation requiring Open Table to inquire whether we kept our reservation. Food was plentiful and well prepared.
