A perfect place after the theatre...we have been here numerous times, always good. You will enjoy yourselves!
Overall good experience. Good menu choices. Food was fresh and tasty...I had the lemon chicken and was very tender and delicious. Overall noise level a little loud...but that just means everyone is having a good time. Will definitely dine here again.
Recommendation: Bread basket was underwhelming, dry cracker bread, served with a a slice of butter...I did not eat. A nice bruschetta with fresh tomato, garlic and olive oil would be very welcome.
We come here a lot! Great wine, great food, great staff, great deals!
I only been here 2 time i always get theGood food and best service.
This is our "go-to" restaurant for all special occasions! Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or getting together with friends! The server never delivers you food too early (while you are enjoying the hors d'oeuvre or salad or soup), the food is always hot, and the quality and flavor never fails to impress! We all have our favorites, but try everything! Nothing will disappoint!
The food was good but the service was bad, very noisy for family to talk together, no music and late service.
I wish I could say it was "good", but can't. It's a good location in Irvine Spectrum, but the noise level is annoyingly high. You have to yell across the table to talk and repeat yourself to be heard. Server was nice and friendly but was always rushed and not very attentive. As in - setting your drink on the table while she's briskly walking away. The "under the brick" chicken was very dry, tough and didn't have much marsala sauce. My mother's flatbread was tasty but it was essentially a pepperoni/sausage pizza. For the price, I expect more in the food and overall dining experience. This is my 3rd time here, all three times were just okay. I will most likely give this a pass in the future. The interior has a modern Tuscan vibe, but that is all I can say that is positive.
We enjoy this restaurant and come quite often. Great wine, great food, great service!
Beautiful interior design, interesting food. I will definitely return.
It is a beautiful facility but the food is below average. People come in gym attire. It felt like a more expensive Macaroni Grill.
I along with business associates are regulars at BRIO. I will tell you I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed with the food and lack of visible management. Normally, we get great food, service and attention.
On Thursday, September 13, 2018, I was there with a new client and could not have been more disappointed. I often have the Salmon Fresca which is always a great dish. This time the Salmon was under-cooked, a very small piece, and the asparagus was tougher than a piece of rope. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and she replaced it with a dozen or more freshly cooked asparagus spears but we were finished with lunch. I did eat a few and they were perfect which leads me to believe the first order was from an old batch.
I would have thought the waitress would have seen my displeasure and brought it to the attention of the manager, but that person was no where we could see.
Look, I don't want a free meal, or reimbursement, or even an apology. Someone should be watching every meal before its served and if it is not up to your standards then make a new dish. I simply want my BRIO Tuscan Grill back to the excellent standards we should expect each and every time we dine.
I usually come for dinner but over the last 7 or 8 days I've been for lunch (had the green salad with berries and thin sliced white meat roasted chicken -- delectable) and for brunch (I splurged on the cream cheese stuffed French toast with berries and crispy bacon on the side, served with warm syrup -- making my mouth water just thinking about it). I can't comment about coffee or beer or paleo friendly as I don't drink coffee or beer and I'm not sure what paleo is so please don't assume anything just because I didn't recommend it. The menu is varied and the food is always wonderful, the servers are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and I think the prices are very fair for the entire menu. I have had a couple of their cocktails and enjoyed them. I usually make reservations, especially for dinner, but I think you could get in pretty quickly for lunch and weekend brunch if you just happened to be in the neighborhood. Enjoy!
Very cool environment with extremely delicious food. I had the shrimp and lobster linguini and my girlfriend had the penne ala vodka. Both were seasoned perfectly and delicious beyond our expectations.
Great service, great food selections, and good cocktail offering. We really enjoy the dinner there
Outstanding flavor and service! I had a mushroom ravioli with tomatoes and olives. Superb! The chocolate lava dessert with vanilla ice cream was scrumptious. I will be back!
Excellent food but didn't get good service. Came here for a 50th birthday dinner.
Service was exceptional. Thanks Ryan!
Delicious food and friendly service.
food is always good but this time our sever sucked. Ruined the meal
Neither my wife or I enjoyed the dishes we ordered, one being a recommendation of the waiter. My risotto was very under cooked, her chicken lemon was enough food for 3 people. We both looked at each other and asked if there was anything worth returning for and we agreed, no. Pretty pricey also for the quality. One reason we don’t do chain restaurants.
Good food, good value, not too noisy, good service.
Loved everything about it, location right by Valet .. Nice restaurant, great service and the Lobster & Shrimp risotto was amazing
Great food! Took longer for the waitress to take our initial order than for our food to arrive. But friendly staff and great food otherwise!
Find runners forced three plates deep on me within 15-20 minutes. Told we could sit by the firepit yet no one knew that the firepit wasn't working. The indior waiter was working hard to recover. I would say he helped reduce the frustration. Very professional. The resteraunt is disorganized at best! Walked away frustrated, we wanted it to be a nice experience for my wife's birthday.
We really enjoy this place and are frequent visitors. Wine, food made to order, although one of our favorites is not on the menu anymore, probably because it's seasonal.
Classy touch with a sweet birthday note left on the table! Thank you.
Delicious food and great service! Fresh pasta, authentic risotto, fantastic seasoning and flavors.
The service was not great and the food was mediocre. The shrimp pasta made me sick to my stomach later that day. Was a great birthday surprise.
Have been here several times. This time the lobster bisque was a little too salty and the lobster wasn’t cooked, (also seemed a bit sandy). I made the reservation and advised the server that I was to pay the check, he allowed my guest to pay. Not sure I can trust them to follow through for me in the future. Too bad, I thought it would be a good go to restaurant.
Great bottle of wine; great food; great service!!!
Seemed to take about 30-40 minutes to get the food & the place wasn’t even full.
Wonderful service as usual
our go to place. Most servers know us now, and our wine preference and my food preferences. It's such a joy to come here.
We love Brio, we go there once or twice a week, service is excellent and the food is AMAZING, they're always consistent with the quality of their food.
Very disappointed. Food was less than mediocre especially at this price point. Soggy bread on bruschetta with cheese I could get at Ralph’s bargain brand and a jar sauce. Calamari was mostly breading and not cooked enough. My main was the Mediterranean shrimp. Firstly the entire dish was ice cold, shrimp were over cooked and dried out. Vegetables
Not cooked at all. Faro and orzo completely tasteless. When I tried to flag down waitress to at least warm it up and add some spice or bring me another, it was so loud and busy I couldn’t get her attention. Really shameful. I’d equate this with the dreaded Olive Garden. Maybe worse
Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient service, but the swordfish I had was thin and dry. The roasted vegetables that I ordered with it were average at best, not much flavor. Presentation was not impressive. Two of my guests had a steak salad and said they enjoyed it.
it's a nice place to have lunch, but I forget to show my code for checking out and it's a busy time and the lunch be a little long time for delivery.
However, it's a good choice for me to have lunch with my business friends.
Delicious Italian food and great service! Fantastic restaurant for a date night, happy hour, or just a random Wednesday.
The lights are too bright. Service was just ok
Service was less than stellar. We Had to ask for bread twice before it was brought to the table which was half way through the meal. Asked if we needed more and we said yes and he never came back. The flat bread that came w the artichoke dip was stale. Spent over $100 on a night out to dinner and left very disappointed. Won’t be back anytime soon.
