BRIO Tuscan Grille - Irvine - Spectrum Center
I would definitely recommend Brio, the food was excellent, the service was excellent and it was a great experience. Prices aren't bad either! Great place!
Great meal, service and atmosphere!
New menu. Everything was great. We ordered beef carpaccio, salmon salad and pesto fetuccini with lobster and shrimps
I threw a baby shower luncheon on the patio. The food and service were both excellent! They are extremely accomodating! Will do it again!
The restaurant when it’s busy is loud. The waitress had a difficult time taking our order. We felt like we had to yell our order for her to hear it. The bathroom was in an odd location. You go through the server area to get to it. Not sure if that’s sanitary.
Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this restaurant. I don't know what about this place screams bring all your unruly, undisciplined children to dinner after work??? Both times we have been surrounded by kids screaming and running around while parents completely ignore them, and waiters and diners are dodging them. It's impossible to carry on a conversation without yelling. I wish they could figure out a section for families and another for everyone else. The food is very reasonable and tasty, it's just not a great ambiance.
As always, food was outstanding. The service, however, was far below your normal standard. We had to ask if our food was ready and the waiter said, (Oh, I think I see it up, I’ll check”. A waitress actually brought our lunch, we’ve had her before and she is always on top of everything!
Great food and great service!! Had a great anniversary at this restaurant.
Asked for bread when we arrived. After multiple requests, it came out after the food. Food came out under cooked. Sent back 2 times. Server and manager didn’t acknowledge or apologize.
We were late and they were still professional and we had great customer service for my daughter’s birthday
Enjoyed my evening out with my hubby.
Good food great time
Everyone was nice, courteous, but service is very slow.
The food was delicious. I had the grilled salmon and even though it was calorie friendly, the flavor was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Great service and food
We had a very enjoyable dinner. Our waiter Josh was amazing and went above and beyond to make the visit fun.
I love Brio. They rarely (very rarely) take a misstep. The stuffed French toast was wonderful -- the filling tasty, the fruit at it's best, and the accompanying bacon crispy. My guest and I both had it, although the shrimp and polenta was tempting, too. My guest was an elderly lady who doesn't move very quickly and uses a walker. She is also almost blind. Our server couldn't have been more patient or kind. All reasons why I keep returning to this outstanding restaurant.
Even tho' it is a small chain, the food is topnotch. The service almost always is great. The room is airy and comfortable EXCEPT for the fact that it gets VERY loud as it fills up. The best bet is to get there before 1800h and don't linger. On the other hand, if you like VERY noisy places then this is a 5 star restaurant.
After eating here at least once a month for a few years, I'm still never disappointed in the food or the service.
Took my Mom for her birthday, and she loved it. My husband and I like this place for date night. Waiter Josh is great.
Celebrating friends anniversary. Had a wonderful time and the food was amazing as always.
Great place for brunch! Good value. My veggie omelette was delicious.
Food was mediocre
Very enjoyable lunch with outstanding food and service.
Really love this place. I've been there for several different reasons, personal dining and business dining. The food is exceptional and fairly priced. The service is outstanding, all of the staff are extremely personable and attentive. The only issue I have is the noise level. It's loud which makes conversation at a large table difficult. The last meal I had there was a business dinner with 10 people and it was very hard to carry on a table wide conversation because of the ambient noise. Other than that, it's a great restaurant. I will go back and highly recommend it.
We had a lovely dinner there last night! We started with the Insulata Della Casta salad and a wedge salad. Both were very fresh. Our main entree was the grilled salmon fresca and the fish of the day which was sea bass. Both were very moist, delicious and came with perfect accompanying vegetables. To end our meal we shared a tiramisu which was so yummy and not super sweet. Just the way we like it. Our wonderful waitress brewed us a fresh pot of decaf coffee which tasted great! A wonderful dining experience.
Tara, the restaurant's manager was especially nice and helped fix a situation we had experienced when we tried dining there before. Their doors were locked when we showed up for our reservations. Someone had decided to close the restaurant an hour early and Open Table thought I was a no-show.Thank you so much, Tara for rectifying the situation so professionally and speaking to your staff so it doesn't happen again. First class all the way!
Service was great! But food was ordinary and expensive.
We enjoyed our dinner, service was great, food was good. Due to the restaurant being very busy it was a little loud and we had a hard time hearing each other on a round 5 top table. But overall it was great
It was my fiancé’s 43rd Birthday and it was a surprise dinner with his family. The food was great, our server Josh was very accommodating and the ambiance was very relaxing. Being that we’re a big party they placed us is an area where we’re somewhat away from the crowd so it was nice.
I will only eat hear again if I can get a table on the patio. It is way too noisy inside for polite conversation. The food was excellent but the server and kitchen seemed overextended at 6pm on a Wednesday. Clientele is a bid odd too. There was a table nearby with women straight from the gym, no shower or change of clothes. Uncivilized for a $20-30 per plate restaurant.
Very nice place good food and service
Always a good experience except for their glassware often times seems not 100 cleaned. We have had to send our wine glasses back a couple times.
Just fine- terrific server
Came in about 6pm on a Monday, not a very busy time. Happy hour was still going at the bar. There were two of us at a booth around four other full booths and one large table of 10. Our waiter was solely focused on the large table and barely paid attention to the smaller parties. Took 20 minutes for a mango ice tea. The food was Fantastic, The Lamb was phenomenal, the staff was nice, but the lack of service was less than desirable. Maybe additional help for the staff when larger parties are present, would make a difference. Will try again.
This is my go to business lunch place because they get you in and out with amazing Italian food! :)
The restaurant is not accomodating and the food is not filling due to paltry portion sizes. Furthermore, I ordered my pasta without pancetta, but it was on there regardless. When I requested it without pancetta as I had originally requested, they just picked it out for me. I'm vegetarian, so found their approach to be insensitive and dismissive. We had some vegan friends in the group, and the restaurant couldn't accommodate one dish for them or adapt one item on the menu.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was for my 30th birthday too, so that added to the disappointment of wasting the experience at this place.
Brio is one of my favorite restaurants because it never miss steps in service and very rarely in food. This night I had their fettucini (sp?) with shrimp and lobster and it was superb! And enough for lunch the next day (I could have finished it, but I wanted dessert). I did try their raspberry mojito and it was good, but didn't quite work for me, the seeds were too much and the raspberry didn't mix well, just sat on the bottom. I prefer a lemon mojito. For dessert I had the fresh berries with zagblione (spelling again!) sauce. The berries were fresh, sweet and perfect. The sauce was good but there was too little of it and it was served in a glass where all the sauce went to a narrow bottom so you couldn't get to it with the berries. It was still delicious and I just drank the bit of sauce that was there once the berries were gobbled up!
If you are a local I'd say go for it, but if you're from out of town, not so much. With a map we still had to stop for direction twice. Spectrum Center is a shopping center. We didn't know what we were looking for & the street names aren't much help. Once we got there & ordered our food it was fine. My husband & I order the same 2 entrees every time we go. The food was good but not as good as at the Brio we go to at home.
Food was fabulous. Bartender and management were fantastic. New waiter not so good but forgivable given lack of experience.
We love your lounge patio.
Amazing food and great wine selection. It was only our second time there but both time were amazing! The crab cakes are to die for!!
