BRIO Tuscan Grille - Irvine - Spectrum Center
They made my Moms Birthday extra special!
The Food and service were good. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere.
Our waitress was very attentive and gave us excellent service! We were seated promptly and the food was fabulous. We will be back :)
A little noisy for conversation. Once a large party left, we could carry on a conversation.
Our server was very patient and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty
Food was delicious! Our server was very attentive and got us out in time to make it to the comedy club.
New waiter was just doing his job, but no personal connection, ie, not even a smile. He got all my substitutions correct.
Brio is one of my favorite chains. This one is my favorite location. You can never go wrong at Brio in Irvine!
Great location, seated immediately with our reservation, great food!
GREAT meal, with timely service throughout, though it was a busy Valentine's Day evening. Hubby got the filet mignon, which was perfectly grilled. I got the salmon fresca. Both were wonderful! Value of these meals is great! It is a noisy restaurant, so it is not for a cozy quiet evening. Every sound echoes, including the kitchen chef shouting orders to his staff. But, we love the place anyway.
Service and food was on point on Valentine’s Day.
We felt a little rushed, but it was probably because it was Valentine’s Day and they were expecting a big crowd.
The salad was primarily white lettuce, with minimal dressing. BUT the olive appetizer, and the steaks were fantastic. The Gorgonzola crust, on my steak medallions, was bitter. But the steak was amazing. The vegetables were really food but the mashed potatoes weren’t great. All in all, we will come back.
Expired date beer....
The food and drink was really good . We got Italian margarita. The Salmon salad and chicken pesto was awesome.
I normally love Brio, but lately the food is just not up to par. They keep changing the menu which is also frustrating. I reserved a table for 8 (16th Bday) and let them know it was for a birthday. We arrived and were seated within 5 minutes. The place was packed and therefore, service was very slow. It took almost 15 minutes to just get water and lemonade. As soon as the drinks came out, we ordered appetizers and our main entree. Five of us ordered thr Filet Mignon and/or NY Strip. Four of the steaks were overcooked (we ordered medium rare and got medium-medium well). I knew the minute the plate was set before us that the steaks were way overcooked. I even said they were overcooked when they were presented to us, but there was no offer to remedy the situation. We had waited so long and were so hungry, we decided to eat them anyway. When you're paying $36/plate and the steaks are not cooked properly it ruins the meal. The fingerling potatoes and broccolini that accompanied the steaks were dry and cold. I understand that when it's packed, service is going to lag a bit, but quality of the food shouldn't waiver. And to top it off, there was no mention of my grandson's birthday at all. I also had a $10 off coupon that I forgot to use (bill was over $300), not that it would have made much difference. I guess I should've know better than to order steak at a restaurant that mostly specializes in Italian fare. Lesson learned. I most likely will not be back.
Went Friday at 5:30. Food was decent... service was very slow!
Restaurant was extremely loud... hard to have a conversation.
Wish this restaurant food was good.
You couldn’t taste the actual ingredients of dish you weren’t having, Super salty.
Yum! Everything was great
For lunch I had the Chicken Marsala, my Mom had the Caprese Chicken, and her friend had the Wedge Salad and Crab Cake. Brio does a very good job of grilling the chicken breasts properly -moist and not overcooked. And that crab cake was the size of a large biscuit -with a decent crab to breading ratio.
Good food and service but somewhat noisy for dinner conversation.
they are very good with substitutions. I wish they had squash soup all year round! we celebrated a birthday; and the complimentary dessert used to have great choices, but now it's only vanilla gelato or sorbet.
Food and service was great. Noise level was perfect as we had lunch with long time friends who we had not seen in awhile.
Our waitress recognized us from previous visits. She was Betty attentive and cordial. We had a wonderful dinner.
The service and food was really good. The server made us very comfortable and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely come back again soon.
Waited over 20 minutes for someone to get out drink order. Restaurant was quite and empty.
Excelent Service, the food was perfect thanks to jhoshua He make our dinner perfect
Service was friendly, and specialty drinks were good. Disappointed though overall because most of the entrees except the lamb chops were either way overly salted, hardly any marsala sauce with the Chicken Marsala nor lemon sauce with the Chicken Milanese.
Spaghetti Carbonara had too much pancetta, the chopped side salad was unflavored and small although the side green salad with lemon vinegarette was worth it. The worst things we ordered were the appetizers, calamari was little tiny pieces with chunks of Other fried things, and the spinach artichoke dip tasted sour. Based on the food we would nor go back there.
They are always great about my customizing my order. We're enjoying the newly added olive appetizer, but would suggest having little forks to use.
I think I was expecting something different, not in a bad way. It was a energetic noise level and I saw a more laid back vibe then anticipated. Food was good and the service was good. Would certainly go back.
Our first time, and won't be our last. Very good and a nice atmosphere.
Shrimp and lobster fettuccine very salty, was disappointing
Food was over cooked dry and somewhat tasteless. I ordered the pasta with pesto, it was dry and tasteless. Someone else ordered the chicken cutlets, dry, hard, cold. My husband ordered a lobster pasta it was just OK. The Lasgne was the most tasty of the items we tried.
My impression is that dishes are not cooked to order but prepared in advance and reheated.
We eat at this Brio on a regular basis. This past visit, it was a for a family brunch on Sunday. The service is excellent at this location, the head chef even popped out to check if our dishes arrived the way we liked it. The restaurant interior is open, comfortable and welcoming. And the menu is wide enough so that you can lean towards healthier options when you're in the mood. We look forward to our next meal there!
New waiter seemed to be a bit frazzled. Food has improved and always accommodating my modifications. Still one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Food is not as good as it used to be. Served a warm chocolate cake that was microwaved.
Ordered steak medium rare. It came well done. Second try it was cooked very rare. Sent it back , half it was as desired the other half was well done. I gave up.
The restaurant was 68 degrees when we arrived. It warmed up after an hour.
Gosh it's just too noisy. Otherwise it was great.
We got there early and we’re able to get seated still. Food was excellent and service was good too. Had kids and didn’t feel out of place with them there either.
Only ok. Nothing wrong, all ok. Not very tasty. Reminds me of a nicer version of Olive Garden
