BRIO Tuscan Grille - Huntington Station - Walt Whitman
We had to remind waiter to bring water and bread. Wife ordered a steak medium. Steak came well done. I ate my meal alone while she waited for another steak. I finished my meal by the time a chef apologized and delivered another steak. This was also well done. We then asked for our bill and left.
A good restaurant will never overcook a steak. One can add more heat, but one can take heat away. One doesn't make a mistake a second time. So the chef messed up two steaks. No manager came over to speak with us. The restaurant appears to really not care about their customers
For the money it’s a good value. If they included a small salad with their entrees it would be better.
The vegetables that are served with main courses are not good - poor quality and not cooked well.
Really enjoyable lunch with friend. Delicious good and very professional and friendly service.
Great service and food was delicious!! I recommend the shrimp and eggplant for appetizer and the fried calamari.
Went on mother’s day, given dirty silverware, finally received our bread by the time meals were served, flat bread was tasteless and soggy... how do you mess up pizza? Ordered what i thought was Rose Sangria and I got some slushy syrupy daiquiri. Overall this place is just a more expensive Olive Garden. The only saving grace was our waiter who was polite and powered through the disaster of a restaurant he has to work with.
We dined on Mother's Day. The restaurant was very busy and active. You would expect it to be so. Food was very good and along with the service given the activity. We visited Brio many times always using OpenTable in making reservations. Once we arrived and were shown our table, we experience the following:
We were seated in what was clearly picnic like chairs to handle the additional volume of people. Not the usual seating of the main dining room.
No utensils or napkins were in place when we first sat down.
Crumpled paper tissue on the floor.
Wine served with the foil not cut cleanly and correctly. A training issue in properly serving wine.
Had to ask for utensils and napkins.
Several servers walked by and did not notice the paper tissue on the floor.
Asked who appeared to be one of the managers for steak knife - never got it.
Poor attention to detail.
Will give them the benefit of the doubt due to past experiences that were good, but will be discerning going forward.
The food was excellent and was served hot. The mushroom soup was delicious, as were the two chicken entrees we ordered. We don't usually order dessert, but we did this time and we're very glad we did. The cheesecake and the Chocolate cake were wonderful. The service was great also. Although it was very crowded on Mother's Day, the time between courses wasn't too long. We'll definitely come again.
Mother’s Day Brunch for 3people at 10:30am. Ordered ham& biscuit Benedict & two berries & cream French toast. All three items came out cold. We told our waiter & we waited for new brunch items. The ham & biscuit Benedict came out with over done poached eggs & a burnt & hard biscuit. We were not offered more coffee. So disappointed. Our waiter was William & he was a BIG ZERO
The table was not ready for our reservation and we had to wait. Waiter was rushing us for a drink app order. When they were delivered he took the main course which were delivered to the table a d were nice and hot. My grandsons ff were missing as was the waiter. By the time he got the message, we decided to cancel our dessert and left after that. In general it was adequate.
Has been a favorite over the years. Had seemed to be getting a bit stale but our latest visit found it back up to the old standards. Try the lobster ravioli starter...new and delicious
Never had a bad meal. Everyone is very nice. Priced right.
Very nice dinner
Good food as usual but service was very poor. We’ve been to Brio numerous times. All servers had previously been attentive, friendly and helpful. This time was a disappointment.
We’ll go back but avoid this waitress if she’s still employed.
Salmon was cooked to perfection....
Waitress not very warm
Matteo you are awesome 👏🏽
Thank you for making my son Emanuel’s Birthday super special
Excellent service, great food
Favorite restaurant on Long Island
Reserving a table through open table made no difference than just walking in and being put on a wait list. When you show up on time for your booked reservation you should be seated within a reasonable time and not wait as long as those who just walked in. Hostess seemed overwhelmed .
Took forever to seat with a reservstion
The food and ambiance are somewhat basic. This is the second time my family and I have dined here. Each time, we waited quite a while to be seated, with reservations. The table service/ waitstaff is very nice and attentive.
My wife and I dine at Brio frequently. The food and service is always great!
Very much enjoy eating at Brio. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is great
Wait staff was terrible. We waited for 25 minutes and no one even bothered to bring us water. Once I found a manager he apologized and sent someone to our table. We ordered and didn’t see the waiter until we had to seek him out for the check. The manager then came back to the table to see how how we were doing but dropped the ball as well. We told him that we were totally neglected. He apologized again and took 20% off of the bill. No one even came buy to fill our empty water glasses.
As usual, the food was very good. The issue was the waitress. At the start of the service everything was fine. Then she disappeared. Disappointing.
Always enjoyable, food was delish, and our server, Osi was the best. We'll be back for sure!
Food is ALWAYS perfect! Dining experience was wonderful as well!
Great food, great service and impressed by the low noise level... refreshing..
Went there for Easter brunch and the food was fantastic, service was great. Peach Sangria was the best. Will definitely be back. Can't wait for the outside area to open up.
We had Easter Lunch there. Had a wonderful time. My entire party was very satisfied.
Such a great family friendly restaurant. Crazy reasonable
Sunday brunch menu and good food! Friendly staff and greatly service.
delicious bread. went there 2 Saturday nights in a row ! :)
Good food, good service. Very loud big parties the night we went!
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Brio - the food was excellent, the atmosphere inviting and the staff, from the receptionist to the wait staff, were very attentive to our needs. W will see you again!
The setting of this Brio Tuscan Grill is beautiful. It is clean and attractive with tables spaced adequately apart to allow for ease of movement and private conversation.
The food is attractively arranged and portions are plentiful.
The server was polite and friendly and easily available if needed.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
So glad they brought back the Salmon Fresca as it was great as always
Food is always consistently good, you won't be disappointed.
Very pleasant dinner with some family. Nice food, excellent service, very nice experience.
Met friends there for lunch. Food was very good and our server was outstanding. I would recommend that you make reservations. The four of us gives this restaurant a thumbs up.
Good food. Well priced. Great service.
As always, our food and service was very good. The bread and flatbreads are outstanding.
This is the third time we have tried Brio's each time hoping our experience will be different, but it is not. We place our order and we wait, and wait and wait people who come in after us are getting their food. Then we are told their is a problem in the kitchen, we are sorry etc. Eventually food comes out. My husband ordered a Salad with grilled salmon, his was fine I ordered Caci de Pepe, it was not hot, it was so dry I had to add the butter on the table to it and also add more pepper. Very disappointed to say the least. Waiter apologized but for it to happen every time we go there is crazy!
