BRIO Tuscan Grille - Gilbert - San Tan
We are located in the San Tan Village Shopping Center, the largest open air Shopping Center in Gilbert. We are less than 5 miles away from the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus. There are several parks in the area along with multiple golf courses. Top Golf and AZ Ice Arena arena are also located nearby.
It was a fun dinner and a great way to end a fun girls day!
Always good food and service for both lunch and dinner. Great place for a special event or to take out-of-town visitors, especially when visiting San Tan Village.
I brought a guest visiting from another state and she loved it all! The food was excellent and so was the atmosphere and our waiter was wonderful in explaining the menu. We loved every minute and no one rushed us out.
Tony was the best server we have had in a long time. Very enjoyable experience.
Food was quite average. Not the kind of place you have to go to. Service was very good.
We have been to the Brio many times. Everything is outstanding.
Mother’s day lunch so it was bustling and loud. Service was good. They had plenty of staff. Food was good especially the chicken salad.
We love coming to Brio for all our holiday celebrations because of the relaxing upscale atmosphere and the delicious food and sangria, also never miss the chocolate lava cake!
great food. decent prices. excellent service. very nice restaurant. good for families.
Brio is always one of our family's favorites. This was the first time for brunch on Mother's Day. The Brunch menu was exceptional.
Our 38th wedding anniversary.
The dish stated jumbo shrimp. Not true. They were 5 regularly sized pieces. Just 5. Not seasoned very well either. The noodles were chewy, the sauce was bland, and the dish was luke warm. My wife’s dish said spring salad with with steak it was CHOPPED lettuce! If the cook can’t call an 86 on the dish, than I’ll go to Applebee’s. It sucked. The drinks were good because we asked for a specific bartender to mix them, because the others don’t know how to make drinks. And neither dish were good portions. We’ve frequented Brio’s before. I think we’re done, though. Just pushing food to cattle. Ive served for years, including at the Valley Ho. I would never have treat my clientele like we were treated.
We have always loved Brio, however, a few years ago things weren’t so good with the service. We stopped dining there. We were pleasantly surprised by the changes we experienced this past weekend. We will return again.
Every time we have been to Brio it has been outstanding, although sometimes a little noisy and hard to hear - I think it just demonstrates that people are relaxed and enjoying themselves. The food and service is always outstanding. This time however one party's meal was not cooked correctly. We sent it back, there were no questions asked, an apology was given and he had a replacement meal quickly which he really enjoyed. This wasn't our first time at Brio and certainly will not be our last!
Disappointed the Bruschetta was removed from the lite plates menu but the meal was good. My mother was looking forward to the Bruschetta but I think we satisfied her with splitting the Mediterranean salad.
Revised menu was great, especially the seared Salmon with a lobster tail on the side. We ate outside on the patio which was delightful. Noise level inside was overwhelming, normal level conversation challenging at best.
It's our favorite date place. We just love the food and the service!
I took my family here to celebrate a Birthday and Mother's day, and we were very disappointed. For the price, the food portions were small and not all that good. I paid $23 for Pan Seared Salmon and got a small piece of fish, spinach that had way to much garlic that was barely cooked, and a very small portion of potatoes. The spinach cheese dip wasn't very good. My son had a $14 Chicken Caesar Salad that wa okay, but part of the salad had brown around the edges. My wife had the Steak salad and the steak was poor quality with a lot of gristle/fat. I've talked to several other people about our experience and they've had the same over as us over the past year. Overall consensus is that it is a very hit and miss restaurant. I get that we were there on a holiday weekend with graduation, but they didn't discount the price any for being off. We expected it to be better but just wasn't.
The food is always amazing and fresh. Sitting outside is a plus and their wine choices magnificent!
Took my wife for dinner as this is one of our favorite place because of the food but also for the Waiter (Chuck is our favorite). I think the best food paired with the best Waiters makes the meal that much better. He understands what we like and how we want it prepared. And he is a pleasure to talk to about the food and other things of interest.
Sadly the server wasn’t as attentive as others and her body language expressed that she either had an issue with my table or didn’t want to serve us. The appetizers were great, but our main meal was partially burned on one and the other lacked flavor. I was greatly disappointed with this meal as I’ve had much better experiences at Brio in Scottsdale; this was my first time coming to the Gilbert location. I don’t think we’ll be coming back to this location.
Service was super slow. We sat for over 10 minutes before we were greeted. Waited another 10 minutes to get drinks. Would not go back.
2 servers for 20+ tables, everyone at other tables was talking to everyone else saying service here always sucks
My first visit and I will definitely return. Love the atmosphere, nice bar area and food was great. Menu has a few pricey items but the food is good and overall it is comparable to similar restaurants.
We come to the Brio always with a great outcome. This time was not like that. Our server was great but our food was not. We brought a couple who have never been there before and we were disappointed in the food. I had the same dish I always have the pasta alla vodka my husband had the fettuccine. Both of these entrees were not hot... the plate was not even warm. The alla vodka sauce was strange like thinner than usual. Usually both of these dishes are superb. We were dissatisfied. Then our guests had chicken on angel hair pasta and bolognese with meat balls. The chicken was dry and over cooked. Also the angel hair pasta was terribly over cooked pasty even. The batter on the chicken was over browned. The sauce on the pasta Bolognase was dry and basically all four of our entrees were not hot it wasn’t like they had just been prepared. We waited a long time for our meal so perhaps they all died in the pass. Anyway the experience was not good at all. Our waiter was lovely but that’s the only positive thing to say. The noise level was extreme and I feel that the quality of our food was overlooked. I’m sure whoever was the expediter couldn’t have accepted our food as up to the standards we have become used to at Brio. I hope we have a better experience next time. Haven’t given up. We did not tell our server of our concerns because our meal was being paid for by our guests so we didn’t want to make an issue out of it and embarrass them. That’s the overall experience. Sadly lacking in any quality or attention to detail from the food perspective.
Excellent food and fast, friendly service! We recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food. We have been there several times end it has always been an excellent experience.
Great ambience sitting outside and very friendly waitstaff. For 6 of us, it took 40+ mins to get our main order which was overcooked for 5/6 who had protein (chicken and shrimp).
Our server was not attentive. Asked for spoons to twirl pasta. Finally brought after one guest reminded her and others had finished. Asked for wine menu before dinner but she never came back to take order. The server who brought the food took order. We usually love Brio - food is always great. Just bad server this time.
Have been to Brio many times for Easter as well as Mothers Day. Always enjoyed Easter brunch with
The Grands and seeing the excitement with the Bunny. There was no Easter menus, just the regular
Items we have on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. Our waitress was a joke, no attention, did not even come over to refil our water. We will find a new favorite place to spend the holidays ,so many places to choose
From, no need to settle for Brio.
We love Brios; have been there 6-8 times, including with our 18 -member movie group. The place has CLASS and that 's part of the experience we enjoy. We DO miss the gently-drooping sheer drapes from the ceiling. Our waiter, James, was most accommodating, courteous and prompt with service and a coffee re-fill as well; a great employee.
Is there a rather separate eating area that will again accommodate our large(18) group that gives us a semblance of privacy? Kindly respond. All of us loved the place.

Good brunch - friendly service. Had customer appreciation day on Easter and gave guests a rose. Very positive experience.
We always love Brio Tuscan Grill. The people are awesome, the food is good and the atmosphere is always fun. We especially love their happy hour. Great value!
They advertised Brunch, but it wasnt much of a brunch place. I got the sicilian omelete and it wasnt that great. I wouldnt do Brunch again, but would come back for dinner
Had a wonderful Easter brunch with the family with amazing food and service.
Great brunch! Server was above and beyond!
Great service & yummy food!
We can always count on great food and service at BRIO. Highly recommend it for any occasion.
Great food and kind service
Our waitress, Kelsey was great! Very helpful, courteous, professional. We had a wonderful meal. Thank you!
Great food and fantastic service. The waitress was great as she responded to our every need very quickly and professionally. I was impressed with Amy, our server. This Italian restaurant has a nice menu selection. But, I wish they would complement the desert offerings by adding the classic Spumoni.
I chose this restaurant for a very special occasion. We celebrated my Aunt's 90th birthday. I requested a special dessert be served to the table and this was confirmed by phone with the hostess when I called and increased the number in our party from 9 to 10. She specifically said she would mention the celebration to our server. Our meal was not as good as what we have come to expect. Since there were many large parties that evening, we could overlook the kitchen staff being "swamped". However, when the server presented us with the bill and I had to ask her about THE birthday dessert...in front of my Aunt... she said she was not aware of it and would check with the manager. She did return with one dessert and several spoons, which we shared. However, when I reviewed the bill the next day, I was both surprised and somewhat upset that we had been charged extra for a dessert we did not have an opportunity to select. Ten guests sharing one portion was disconcerting, to say the least. I would have gladly paid for an appropriate dessert for the entire table to share, but this was not the case.
Since your site specifically asks if this is a special occasion, one would think it would be recognized.
In the past, Brios's presented the guest of honor with a card, certificate for future dining, as well as a complimentary dessert.
I am not one to complain, nor expect any extras, but it would cause me to consider another restaurant for future celebrations.
