BRIO Tuscan Grille - Gilbert - San Tan
We are located in the San Tan Village Shopping Center, the largest open air Shopping Center in Gilbert. We are less than 5 miles away from the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus. There are several parks in the area along with multiple golf courses. Top Golf and AZ Ice Arena arena are also located nearby.
The salmon Fresca is fantastic as are the lobster raviolis.
We enjoy going to BRIO and have dined there a dozen times at least. The service is always good and it is a perfect location to meet up with friends. The fact they take open table reservations is a big plus too
We ate outside, so noise wasn't a factor. The food was great and the service was good.
My husband and I enjoyed the steak and salad we ordered. The server was charming, and the service was timely. I recommend this restaurant.
Fun casual dining. Drinks were great, food generally OK but not special. My wife had the shrimp and eggplant which was fantastic. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was rather bland.
We had a great time great food we had guest with us whom hadn't been to Brio and they want to come back will be back with in the next two weeks thanks your our fav restaurant ever.
Always a good choice!
Great place and really nice food and always consistent.
Great food and service.
Was there for a family birthday dinner and our hostess was very sweet! Great food and great service! One of our top favorites!
We love Brios and make it our favourite stop on a sometimes Sunday however we were disappointed with our order last time we went in. The lobster, shrimp linguini was not the flavour I expected so I asked for a side of Alfredo sauce, but it was very bland. My wife had the eggs Benedict but didn’t realize they came with biscuits rather than English muffins. So, lesson learned, we won’t do a Brios for brunch anymore and save that outing for dinners only. You make a great steak.
Thanks. Our hostess was very good
Pro - food good. Con- warm inside and salmon portion small
My expectations were based on previous experience and this place has gone south since Cory the last manager left. I arrived after making a reservation and entered the restaurant. They were two Hostess at the front. One attending one party and the other one didn’t even acknowledged us. The first hostess left to seat the first party and the second hostess did not even say hi to us. She got on the phone and did not even gesture a second as a courtesy to have us wait. After five minutes waiting, she finished her conversation and left the host station for 45 seconds. She finally return to what now has been 9 and half minutes since my arrival to say: Hi, can I help? Well, yeah. After almost 10 minutes and having a reservation, she barely went to get our table ready. She came back for us and got us seated.
We got water from the waiter and he said he will be back to take a drink order. The place was dead. We saw a few tables inside maybe 4 and he took 9 minutes to return with a drink order. He forgot the bread and said he would be back to take the order. I said no and requested to place my kid’s order since he was starving. Now it has been 25 minutes since su have arrived to the door and he took my son’s order. I requested a Bellini and got a slushy drink (nothing like the real drink Bellini which is a liquid drink not a slushy)
He came back at what now is 32 minutes since our arrival and took our order. I place the order for the entire party as it is my mother’s birthday. They didn’t acknowledge her birthday even that I notified the restaurant in writing through my reservation.
They finally got our food. The kids pizza tasted bad. The chicken limone was raw. The lobster ravioli was extremely oily and was drenched in oil swimming in my plate.
The waiter was absent and not a lot of personality going. Delayed, never checked on the table until the end. Did not pack our food and never picked one plate to keep our table tended.
They have changed their menu a couple of times in the past year trying to be something they are not. They are not an upscale Italian restaurant nor are they a steakhouse. I believe they should continue the Italian cuisine by offering more variety and improve the quality.
The quality of food has been consistent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, especially about the wins choices. Most importantly, he was very accommodating to slight changes in our menu choices.
Never fails to please! Excellent service, great food and good friends! The best!
This was our first and not last time at Brio! The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding!! The Lasagna was the best I have had in a long time, and my wife had the stuffed chicken. She loved it. We highly recommend Brio Tuscan Grille..
Not complaining meal was okay service adequate, nothing special - average overall
We went for my mother's 82nd birthday. The waitress was wonderful. She treated my mother like a queen. My mom loved the lasagna. My skin, the vegetarian, had the mushroom ravioli. I had a gluten free meal, and my husband had a delicious dish also. We will go back again.
Food was mediocre and not a good value for the price. Overall I will never go back.
chairs are very small and uncomfortable. service was slow and not attentive to our needs. We were there for a birthday celebration and they didnt sing or bring a birthday treat to the honoree- nothing. Food was small portions and overpriced. The fingerling potatoes were hard and not enjoyable as a breakfast potato, I got the egg breakfast which appeared to have only 1 scrambled egg and hard as rock toast. i paid $10 for 3 very thin strips of bacon and 1 egg. The potatoes and the toast were not edible.
Outdoor ambience was great. The food was good but not fantastic.
Anniversary dinner was awesome. We had the lobster and shrimp pasta plate along with the chicken pesto. Both plates were great but I must say the Lobster....man o man it was amazing. Very quiet corner table away from traffic and the service was awesome too. We will definately go back to Brios.
It was a nice Friday night dinner date, our server was very attentive and checked in without lingering which is nice on a date night. Food is always good my go to is the pasta alla vodka but it’s a little spicy. ☺️
A lovely dinner with friends...service was good...had a few menu issues but enjoyed the meal! Love Brio and will return again
Always great service, sensational food and the decor is beautiful. One of my family’s favorite go-to places. We've also been to one in Las Vegas which was delightful too. We were happy to discover the Gilbert location ehen we moved to the Valley 11 years ago. Being in San Tan Village is a real bonus as well.
Very impressive service and good food. Menu accommodated differences in taste. We had friends from out of town who we wanted to impress. Brio came thru.
Great food and service. Will be going back often.
Our server, Val was terrific.
For the 1st time was a little disappointed in the food. Our party of 6 had 3 different menu items and we all agreed that it was good but bland despite the appearance of good quality. The shrimp and pasta was good except the noodles were too aldenti. The eef medallions were tender but tasteless and oddly the vegetables were well seasoned. Same with the night's special of Sea Bass which was not seasoned hardly at all but the bed of parmesan crusted peppers and vegetables were tasty. Hope they didn't change chefs. This was our 6th visit so we'll still give them another chance.
Service is always the best. Food is the superb wide selection of menu choices. Friendly greeting at door. And as you leave a warm wishes for a great day.
I don’t know how this place stays in business. I ordered a mozzarella chicken dish. The chicken breasts were pounded so thin that it would’ve been impossible for them to have been cooked and not be leather dry as they were. They were two marble size pieces of mozzarella in the “mozzarella chicken“ dish. We had to ask for a water to be refilled several times. I tried to like this place because the idea of it is good, however, the execution repeatedly fall short. I agreed to go here one more time because someone gave us gift certificates and I wanted to use them. This would be the only way I would go back.
Always a hit with the kids and and food is really tasty. Service was fantastic
They were hosting a wedding party so a little noisy
Went for brunch on a Sunday and had the Sicilian omelette. It was very tasty and filling. Added a peach Bellini and i was a happy camper. Just wish they were open earlier in the day.
One of the best Caesar Salads. The Pasta Ala Vodka was very good, just wish it had even three more raviolis in it.
The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly.
This used to be a favorite spot, but showing age in overall upkeep and sadly, food quality. Booth seating breaking down, menu covers torn, and two different visits where food was not as good as a year ago. Wait staff has always been very good though and has credited food when not acceptable.
Food was good, service very slow.
The restaurant was understaffed. It was not at all crowded on a Wednesday night, but because our waitress was serving many tables, she was slow in getting to us. The Brio rewards reduced our bill so we left happy.
Awesome Italian food!! One of a few good, true Italian we have found in the valley and we know true Italian from living in Chicago. I highly recommend. For pizza we recommend a restaurant named BuddyZ.
Service was great but my shrimp were incredibly over cooked and my husbands meal was just mediocre. Can’t say I would be back
