BRIO Tuscan Grille - Farmington - Westfarms
Service was a bit slow, food came really late after the Appetizers. Was a good 30-40 min wait time
Brio's was good just not great. If you are at the mall it is a good place to stop. The service was beyond great.
The menu selection was good.
This is the second time of reservations and eating there, and will definitely be the last. All 3 entrees came out cold, on scalding hot plates. When the waitress was told she was great about bringing them right back to the kitchen to be remade, but low and behold, they came right back out cold and on a hot plate. The manager came over to investigate what was going on. He was perplexed how this happened over the course of three entrees, twice while the place was at less than quarter capacity. He tried to make good on this with desserts, but this is the second time this exact scenario has occurred.
Side mixed Vegetables were cold. Service was excellent
Food was outstanding!
Very very disappointed. We have been to BRIO numerous times, actually many times a year. Mine and my wife's meals were so overcooked, it was like chewing on rubber. I had the shrimp and lobster fettuccine, my wife had the shrimp dish. I am just floored by how horrible the meals were. The Server Kendell comped us on a beer, not much and far from making up for such a big disappointing meal, not to mention how much I paid. Returning or complaining to the manager would only create anxiety as we worry about what would happen to our replacement meals.
Great as always! Thank you.
I had not been there before but it was a recommendation for a business dinner with a visiting guest speaker. There was traffic that slowed down most of the party arriving on time and the staff was just wonderful and flexible. They went above and beyond to make our experience lovely. Thank you!
A bit noisy, but always reliable quality and value.
Waiter was polite and professional. Food was delicious! I will come back with my family.
This is the only location I have had a bad experience dining with. It took 15 minutes before a waiter came over to take drink orders. The food came out relatively quickly but was okay not great. And it took around 20 minutes for the waiter to come over with the check. I would eat at brio again, just not at this location again
Entrees were delivered at exactly the Same time as salads. Poor timing on the kitchen. They were sent back and when redelivered were over cooked
Enjoyable meal and very attentive service. Convenient choice after shopping at the West Farms mall.
It took over an hour to get our food. The kids were starving. We asked the server and manager numerous times for our food. Maybe just an off night but we won’t be back. If you are in the mall and looking for a quick bite to eat, this isn’t the place.
We were a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals (strawberry salads to crab cakes with small side salad to filet mignon). The only dish that was a not 100% was the Chicken Milanese where there was not enough sauce. And, as always, the Bellini drinks were perfection!
Great crab cakes!!
Consistent and convenient at the mall!
Brio is usually very good for food and service. This time, the food was pretty good, but the service was lacking. I believe that was because our server was working a number of tables outside, while we were sitting inside the restaurant. I think that our table was the only one he serviced inside. As a result, we had to go up to the service area, and ask for more water. This happened twice. Our server did come over to see how we doing, but this was when we were just about finished with our meals. Our server was very nice, but either had too many tables, or forgot about us.
Creative selections, nicely presented, we were 1/2 hour early and they were very accommodating. Didn't rush us, attentive service.
After waiting over 10 minutes at our outside table, without even anyone saying hello, we moved inside and had a great dinner with great service.
The cooks need to ... step away from the SALT!
Two of us ordered the red snapper entrée special with pesto potatoes. The entree was so overly salted that it completely ruined our entree. If there is a next time, I will definitely have to specifically ask to hold the salt, if that is at all possible.
Even a perfect Bellini could not take away from the amount of salt used on this meal.
The restaurant is/was so dimly lit that it was necessary to use a cell phone light, butI don't believe this was to create any sort of dinner ambience.
We both ordered the grilled salmon over very small cut root vegetables, all drizzled with balsamic vinegar. While the salmon was cooked perfectly, overall this was not an appealing looking dish. Perhaps it was due to the dim lighting.
Great! As usual
We go to Brio often, and this birthday dinner was as good and consistent as every other visit! They do a great job! Our waiter Kendall took very good career of us!
Top notch Italian food and a friendly and helpful staff make this restaurant one of the best in the area.
A good place for lunch at the mall. Usually service is better than it was this time. Waitress was apologetic. Would probably go back to try it again.
Met someone half way so it was a good location.
Portions were adequate; took half home.
Excellent Father’s Day brunch with the family. Food was fabulous as always and our server was attentive and provided superior service. We highly recommend Brio westfarms
We had Sara as a waiter, she did a great job, I was not sure about the beverage then she offer and recommend me to try and taste Italian wines, we all enjoy with the selection.
Food was on time, overall very good. I will be happy to recommend Brio to my friends
Thank you Sara for your services!
Very disappointed in the entire meal! This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to go to when traveling to the area. The waitress didn’t even ask if we wanted a cocktail when we sat down to look over the menu. Our meals were dry and tasteless. Just deleted my Brio Ap which we didn’t bother to use. What happened to this great place!!? We will never go back!!
Dirty silverware and glass. Middle of entree was cold. Overpriced. The waitress was nice but definitely not going back.
Consistently good. Love their veggies & salads. My husband was pleased with his pasta dish. Drink was on the small side for a margarita - served in a small double old fashion tumbler with lots of ice . Outdoor patio was pleasant.
Perhaps it's a new gimmick, Brio gives you the regular menu at lunch unless you ask. Ask for the lunch menu.
All 3 of us had an excellent meal. The chicken marsala was the best l have ever had and would definitely order again. The ambiance of BRIO was very nice and our waitress, I believe her name was Octavia, added to an enjoyable evening. Will definitely be returning!
Our salads came with the salmon buried under the salad. At first, I thought this was rather odd, but when we dug the salmon out, it was clear why they chose to hide the salmon. We both were served very small portions of the salmon tail which was overcooked and dry. So much for requesting that they not overlook the salmon. Disappointing..
So this visit to Brio was a bit of a mixed bag. Our waitress was very good and we got our salads promptly, but our food took well over an hour. We got there at 5pm and the restaurant was packed. We got our food about 6:30pm. Food took forever, but it was very good food as usual and they felt so badly that they gave us our meals for free. The wait time was unacceptable, but I've always had good service the other times I've visited and they immediately waived our bill so we will be back.
Celebrating both Mother’s Day and my wife’s birthday. Mentioned this to the server and thought there might be a special “treat”. There wasn’t!
Overall service was fine, but entrees did not includ anything but bread. When u pay $17 for spaghetti with meat sauce, u would expect a little something more.
Wait 20 mins beyond our reservation time only to be seated with no setup. We had to ask twice for silverware and water.
I never recieved my salad that found its way onto the bill.
Shrimp and lobster fettuccini tasted good and found the lobster after I put on my reading glasses.
Grear service and everyone loved the food ! They have lovely gluten free and vegan options
So we had reservations for 1:30, we arrived about 10 minutes early and still had to wait until 1:30 since they were busy, which was understandable. Once we were seated they forgot about us, no water no menu no bread, nothing for over 20 minutes. A waitress finally asked if we were being taken care of. We said no, she called the manager and the manager didnt just apologize she took care of our entire bill for being unattended for so long. We gave the waitress who actually noticed us a very nice tip for spotting us. I would go back not because our meal was free but because the manager did the right thing and took care of us. She couldve have just apologized and gave us a free dessert instead she took care of the entire bill and there were 4 of us. For that reason i will tell this story and tell others to go to Brio’s.
