BRIO Tuscan Grille - Boca Raton
Not busy for a Wednesday night but you’d think it was based on slow service. Took 15 minutes for anyone to greet us at the table and that was after 6 different people walked by and ignored us. I asked the hostess if we had a server and he said they were trying to find him. He was very nice when he finally arrived but it didn’t get better. Dinner arrived spaced out among the 5 of us, and the salad with grilled chicken had no chicken. The server was MIA and we needed drink refills so I had to find a water pitcher to refill our own drinks. He later apologized by offering a dessert for everyone. However, instead of ordering from the dessert menu, we got a choice of a scoop of sorbet.... who wants sorbet when the menu has cheesecake, chocolate cake, apple crisp, etc.
It was mediocre food at high prices with nonexistent service! Save your money!!
Was there for dinner during the week which was most enjoyable. Less crowded than some nights so could hear and relax. Not rushed. Food was delicious and exactly as ordered. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant.
Overall a fun & enjoyable evening.
Food was good, the place is really beautiful and I would recommend it and I will repeat having dinners at Brio
Quiet the Monday night we visited. Only negative is that the bread plates pre-set on the table looked dirty, so we had to ask for replacements before we could eat complimentary bread. Otherwise all was good!
We've eaten at another Brio before, but on this day, Mother's Day, it wasn't even good. The food was okay, but we were seated in the bar area where the servers were all hanging out, loudly conversating and watching the game. in addition the guy at the bar was cleaning up, throwing water on the floor about 5 feet away from us. I was embarrassed to tell my wife that this was a reservation.
First visit for our friends. We had excellent service. Very good food on the lovely terrasse. Beautiful Mother's day dinner.
Food and service definitely sub par maybe due to busy Mother’s Day. Wine and drink was warm when should have been cold, food just thrown on plates, had to ask for everything we needed, crazy loud! Disappointed...may try again since have been pleased in previous visits.
I understand that it was mother's day weekend, however we had a reservation and still had to wait. We had to keep asking for bread, only 3 pieces of bread came out at a time for a table of 7. And our mother's food came out last. . . on Mother's Day.
It may have been because we went for mother’s day but my overall experience was poor. For starters, the service was poor, our waitress left us for atleast 30 minutes to fend for ourselves which left us asking other waiters/waitresses for things. My mother didn’t get the food she wanted, not once, but twice. When the food did come out the size and value did not add up. The food was good, but again we were all very upset about everything else. Out of all that the manager came over and understood the problems we were having and compensated us for the trouble.
Service was a bit disappointing with food not coming out at the same time for the entire table and no explanation or apologies from the waitress.
Great food and service for a fair price. Would come back definitely!
Always a pleasure at Brio. Good food, friendly and attentive staff & price is reasonable.
We were the first table that sat for Mothers Day bunch, and a couple tables followed. I don’t remember seeing our server often, and our food came out way later than any other tables food. We probably waited at least 40 min for food after we ordered and watched tables that came after us finish their meals before ours came. I had one cup of coffee because the server never refilled it and took it away from me even after I asked for another cup. When our food came it wasn’t even our food. We had to instruct the server what we actually ordered and wait even longer. In the end our food was good and we managed to make it out dry after the waitress spilled water all over the table before we left. I’ve been here for dinner in the past and have had no complaints, but we will not be returning for breakfast.
The appetizers were very good. The main meals were very good. The salads arrived after the main meal and we canceled them. Very noisy on a Saturday night 8pmike@m. My gin and tonic arrived without the gin. It was immediately and gladly replaced. This was my 34th year wedding anniversary and I must say I was
hoping for a little more of a romantic setting. (My bad.) We had to yell at each other to be heard across the table. I repeat. The food was great and we enjoyed the leftovers the following day. I am not whining. Just answering your question honestly.
Great food - great waiter. Always a good meal and nice atmosphere.
Great meal, great table settings, nice decor and a great staff.
However, the noise level is astounding as we could not have a conversation with the person at the table with us without nearly shouting. They definitely need some noise absorption panels throughout the inside of the restaurant. I don't recommend going to this restaurant if you want to have a conversation with the people in your group unless you know sign language or can read lips.
This was our first visit to BRIO Tuscan Grille in Boca Raton and it could be the last!
The food was great but the service was very slow, management had told some servers not to come to work that day so they were very short staffed.
Food was excellent but server wasn't. Half way through salad, had to ask for bread, half way through entree had to ask for cheese? When we ordered coffee we were told they ran out of cream.??? How does a restaurant run out of cream???
We have enjoyed eating at Brios in zBoca. The restaurant offers a varied menu from something light to a full dinner. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable.
Had a reservation and got there 10 min early. Told we couldn’t be seated because we were early though there were plenty of empty tables. Waiter would come over and apologize but never took our order. Had to call a manager over who was very snippy. Food came out and was ok; not great. Service was terrible. Will not go back.
My son and I received our food, however, my husbands's didn't come out for a good 8 minutes. Server questioned where his meal was and we stated it hadn't come yet. Server left and didn't come back
to tell us what was going on. Meal was finally delivered and wasn't good so my husband exchanged
it for a less expensive meal. The bill arrived and we were charged for the higher price meal instead
of the price of the second meal. Server didn't come back to the table to pour our wine, he just seem
The lobster bisque was amazing. Service and salmon salad, not so much. Everyone was very nice but rushed and not the best... wait staff manners?
Food just ok
I was rather disappointed with my meal there this evening. The crackers they served with the bread were somewhat stale. I was really looking forward to them because they’re normally just soooo good.
I did not enjoy the salmon dish at all. The vegetables had a tangy almost vinegary taste and the sweet potatoes were hard.
Maybe the chefs had an off-night. Hopefully better next time.
Wait staff friendly. Have been eating here for over 10 years. Last night we had worst meal ever. Over cooked and over salted chicken dishes.
I made a reservation through Open Table. The hostesses usually do not read the whole reservation on their screen. I requested a quiet table as I am hearing impaired, the hostess placed us next to the only table in that area with other people and proceeded to seat the next guests all around us. Needless to say after several minutes the noise level elevated substancially making conversation difficult. This happens often even though I remind hostesses of my request. Food was good as usual but the waiter was only around to take the order and deliver the bill.
The food was just all right and the menu was limited. With such a limited menu, the chef ought to have been able to really make each dish spectacular.
Good food and a comfortable atmosphere. Water bragged about how good his memory is and didn’t write down our order, when TVs good arrived it was not correct so he blamed the kitchen.
The floor was dirty , littered with paper straws , napkins etc. I brought this TK the attention of the hostess and she cleaned it up .
Disappointed. Mediocre food took way too long to come out. Portions are very small and level of food seemed low for pricing. Ambience is good- sitting outside in beautiful Florida is always lovely. Not a favorite.
We ate outside and it was such a beautiful night. Food was delicious.
Went for Easter dinner around 7:00 pm. Restaurant was about half full. They sat us between a party of 8 and another party of 8. One parties of 8 had 3 kids running around. Server greeted us in a timely manner but drinks took forever. She gave us bread with no plates too. We waited 25 minutes before she took our order. The other two tables were asking for a lot of things. Why did the hostess put us there when the restaurant wasn’t that busy?? Hmm.
Wish they had the bruschetta.
I was a bit surprised that on a holiday at 4 p.m. they ran out of filet mignon . Food was very good however , but it was still a bit surprising.
We usually come here a few times a year and definitely for Easter. I purposely plan middle of the afternoon to escape the lunch and dinner crowd, thinking the kitchen won't be in the weeds and better meals will come out.
I always get chicken limone and it was sub par this year.
Hardly any sauce or capers and the sauce was a brown, runny sauce that wasn't the same. Perhaps a different chef? I had to order extra sauce and it did not taste very good.
My son got the chicken Caprese and it lacked luster, and he tried some of my extra sauce I requested and did he did not like that either.
My granddaughter got bolognese and it was very very dry and lifeless. I had to ask for extra sauce and that did not even help.
I have to say the only good part of our meal was the wedge salad. It was as delicious as ever.
I was really disappointed this year.
I don't think we will be back any time soon.
We did have a great time, not very busy. The server was not as friendly as usually found there. The lobster bisque was very thick, almost curdled, very salty, but there were lots of lobster chunks in it. Not as good as usual. The Eggs Benedict were ok, very little sauce on it but the biscuit was good. The salads were tasty. overall not as good as usual.
Not impressed. Waste of prime real estate for a restaurant.
Bon repas. Menu avec manque d'originalité.
Food was not as good as other Brio's we been to. One of the dishes was wrong and had to be remade. Restaurant was pretty empty so noise wasn't a problem.
