BRIO Tuscan Grille - Boca Raton
A favorite neighborhood restaurant for families getting together for a very good meal and dining experience.
It's a very good restaurant (Italian ) of a long standing, with good food and service and very well located on a nice plaza in Boca Raton.
Food quality and prices and menu are not what they used to be
The restaurant was empty and the service took forever. Very disappointing. I will not be going back. Don't bother there are much better places to go to in Boca and surrounding town for Italian food.
I ordered a Mediterranean Salad and instead of chickpeas I got mandarin oranges. The chef needs stern talking to. If your going to change the game at least have the sense to describe it on the menu. Overall, it’s hit or miss and I had one to many misses @ $18 a plate.
Celebrating our 47th anniversary with family
The food is overpriced and the portions are moderate. Everything is ala carte and the ala carte prices are very high in many cases. Its a very nice looking place. I probably won't be going back.
Stephanie is amazing! Very attentive & super helpful with food suggestions!
We sat outside and it was very pleasant. The new house salad was delicious. The spaghetti pomadoro tasted as good as it looked in their email that I had received advertising specials. Rosemary chicken was very good too. Server was attentive and eager to please.
We had been away from BRIO for quite some (1 year) time due to a serious problem we the last time we went. At that time service was terrible, orders came out of the kitchen late and were wrong. We decided to give BRIO another shot and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and so was the service.
Always good for a casual dinner. Good diverse menu, staff consistently good.
To serve a caprese salad with unripened tomatoes tells me that don’t care about their food. The food was mediocre the service tried to make up for it...I won’t be going back.
Food was very good. Would recommend for get together with friends or family.
I ordered a pasta dish in which the pasta was grossly under cooked. I mentioned this to the waiter. He said that he'd tell the manager. When the bill arrived the cost of my dish was removed, but I consumed less than 1/2 of the dish. There was no hassle and everything was handled appropriately and to my approval. The waiter was tipped on the entire cost of the meal before the credit was applied-only fair since it was not his fault.
The presentation of some of the entree that were delivered to the table was poorly displayed. Minuscule portion amount.
Jake was are waiter did a great job with service very good worker
We dine at Brio regularly and have found the atmosphere consistently pleasant and the service inconsistent. The food is usually decent but sometimes inconsistent. This particular experience afforded us a very sweet but ill-trained server. I personally asked for several items that were not at all unusual requests but had to ask several times to get the items requested. We brought friends who had never been there and they were surprised by the lack of information on the menu. One of them ordered an item that was served very spicy but with no indication of that on the menu. She cannot tolerate super spicy foods and could not eat her meal. My dish was also served very spicy, but I actually prefer my food cooked that way. We'll still be back because the next meal there will probably be terrific.
Not busy for a Wednesday night but you’d think it was based on slow service. Took 15 minutes for anyone to greet us at the table and that was after 6 different people walked by and ignored us. I asked the hostess if we had a server and he said they were trying to find him. He was very nice when he finally arrived but it didn’t get better. Dinner arrived spaced out among the 5 of us, and the salad with grilled chicken had no chicken. The server was MIA and we needed drink refills so I had to find a water pitcher to refill our own drinks. He later apologized by offering a dessert for everyone. However, instead of ordering from the dessert menu, we got a choice of a scoop of sorbet.... who wants sorbet when the menu has cheesecake, chocolate cake, apple crisp, etc.
It was mediocre food at high prices with nonexistent service! Save your money!!
Was there for dinner during the week which was most enjoyable. Less crowded than some nights so could hear and relax. Not rushed. Food was delicious and exactly as ordered. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant.
Overall a fun & enjoyable evening.
Food was good, the place is really beautiful and I would recommend it and I will repeat having dinners at Brio
Quiet the Monday night we visited. Only negative is that the bread plates pre-set on the table looked dirty, so we had to ask for replacements before we could eat complimentary bread. Otherwise all was good!
We've eaten at another Brio before, but on this day, Mother's Day, it wasn't even good. The food was okay, but we were seated in the bar area where the servers were all hanging out, loudly conversating and watching the game. in addition the guy at the bar was cleaning up, throwing water on the floor about 5 feet away from us. I was embarrassed to tell my wife that this was a reservation.
First visit for our friends. We had excellent service. Very good food on the lovely terrasse. Beautiful Mother's day dinner.
Food and service definitely sub par maybe due to busy Mother’s Day. Wine and drink was warm when should have been cold, food just thrown on plates, had to ask for everything we needed, crazy loud! Disappointed...may try again since have been pleased in previous visits.
I understand that it was mother's day weekend, however we had a reservation and still had to wait. We had to keep asking for bread, only 3 pieces of bread came out at a time for a table of 7. And our mother's food came out last. . . on Mother's Day.
It may have been because we went for mother’s day but my overall experience was poor. For starters, the service was poor, our waitress left us for atleast 30 minutes to fend for ourselves which left us asking other waiters/waitresses for things. My mother didn’t get the food she wanted, not once, but twice. When the food did come out the size and value did not add up. The food was good, but again we were all very upset about everything else. Out of all that the manager came over and understood the problems we were having and compensated us for the trouble.
Service was a bit disappointing with food not coming out at the same time for the entire table and no explanation or apologies from the waitress.
Great food and service for a fair price. Would come back definitely!
Always a pleasure at Brio. Good food, friendly and attentive staff & price is reasonable.
We were the first table that sat for Mothers Day bunch, and a couple tables followed. I don’t remember seeing our server often, and our food came out way later than any other tables food. We probably waited at least 40 min for food after we ordered and watched tables that came after us finish their meals before ours came. I had one cup of coffee because the server never refilled it and took it away from me even after I asked for another cup. When our food came it wasn’t even our food. We had to instruct the server what we actually ordered and wait even longer. In the end our food was good and we managed to make it out dry after the waitress spilled water all over the table before we left. I’ve been here for dinner in the past and have had no complaints, but we will not be returning for breakfast.
The appetizers were very good. The main meals were very good. The salads arrived after the main meal and we canceled them. Very noisy on a Saturday night 8pmike@m. My gin and tonic arrived without the gin. It was immediately and gladly replaced. This was my 34th year wedding anniversary and I must say I was
hoping for a little more of a romantic setting. (My bad.) We had to yell at each other to be heard across the table. I repeat. The food was great and we enjoyed the leftovers the following day. I am not whining. Just answering your question honestly.
Great food - great waiter. Always a good meal and nice atmosphere.
Great meal, great table settings, nice decor and a great staff.
However, the noise level is astounding as we could not have a conversation with the person at the table with us without nearly shouting. They definitely need some noise absorption panels throughout the inside of the restaurant. I don't recommend going to this restaurant if you want to have a conversation with the people in your group unless you know sign language or can read lips.
This was our first visit to BRIO Tuscan Grille in Boca Raton and it could be the last!
The food was great but the service was very slow, management had told some servers not to come to work that day so they were very short staffed.
Food was excellent but server wasn't. Half way through salad, had to ask for bread, half way through entree had to ask for cheese? When we ordered coffee we were told they ran out of cream.??? How does a restaurant run out of cream???
We have enjoyed eating at Brios in zBoca. The restaurant offers a varied menu from something light to a full dinner. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable.
Had a reservation and got there 10 min early. Told we couldn’t be seated because we were early though there were plenty of empty tables. Waiter would come over and apologize but never took our order. Had to call a manager over who was very snippy. Food came out and was ok; not great. Service was terrible. Will not go back.
