BRIO Tuscan Grille - Beaver Creek - The Green
We met as a family for the first time in nearly one year. Time to catch up, have laughs and enjoy each other’s company. Service was great and our server took care of us. All enjoyed the food and desserts.
Waited a very long time for food, had several mess ups, waiter did not seem knowledgeable of menu items. Food was delicious though
Our waiter Gene was excellent. He made the start of a bad situation a lot better. It’s started with my sister getting to the hostess stand first....she was there 4 minutes before I walked in and no acknowledgement by the hostess or the manager who also was at the hostess stand. Once I walked in I was acknowledged. We were then informed that reservations for the patio are first come first serve, something not outlined on open table. We decided to wait for patio seating. We became very frustrated because there were empty tables, 2 or 3 at a time and it was taking 10+ minutes to seat the table. Also there were empty tables that took 10+ minutes to bus. We were informed they do 3 pages, 5 minute interval before bypassing the wait listed party. This seems excessive if the patio is such a hot commodity for seating. Once we were seated, about 50 minutes, Gene came right over and was very sociable and attentive. He provides great service. At the end of the meal we called the
Manager over to express how pleased we were with Gene and discuss some of our
Prior frustrations. He gave excuses for the problems which is totally unacceptable for a service industry and didn’t acknowledge that there was any validity to our complaints.
I enjoy BRIO but would very much appreciate if they changed up their menu more often. Feels like same ol', same ol'. Service was excellent and I loe that I can make a reservation, especially when out to celebrate a special event.
My favorite outdoor dining in all of Dayton. Great food and service.
For appetizers/flatbread and drinks only. The main courses are overpriced and mediocre, especially if you get anything besides a pasta dish. Outdoor patio is very nice.
Food was good. Drinks were good. It was Mother’s Day. Place was packed. Service was absolutely awful. 15 min to take order, 30 min for salads , 15 min for a glass of wine. I don’t think it was all the servers fault as much as the kitchen . Mother’s Day is one of the most busiest dinner evenings of the year. The management should have had extra servers, extra cooks . They were very understaffed. This location has never been really timely with the food but this was crazy and we almost walked out.
Arrived early for reservation. Seated at bar for a drink while waiting. Seated on time for reservation.
Ordered, the special lobster tail with the entree. Unfortunately, the kitchen burned the shell causing charred shell to mix with the lobster meat. I had to ask for drawn butter. Mentioned and showed the burned tail to the waiter and he had bill adjusted.
Overall, food was average in quality and taste.
The waiter was superb. The food was excellent highly recommend the lobster ravioli appetizer. We both had the two different salmon dishes and they were wonderful.
We did not have to wait for a table since we made our reservation through open table and the food was excellent!
Mother’s Day dinner
We went on Mother’s Day which we would typically expect to have a wait. We were seated early, meal was prompt, hot and the service great. Very enjoyable and relaxing!!!
Food and service was good. Only issue we had was a hostess calling us 10 minutes after our reservation time asking “where are you guys at” when half of our part had already been seated. Felt the tone and the way she asked was rude.
It was Mother's Day. They were clearly slammed. So, service was very slow and a little inattentive. But still, we had a good time and a good meal.
Everything went well especially since it was Mother’s Day besides graduation
I was disappointed in the choices and staff. Meal size seemed small for the price.
Service was extremely poor. It took 45 minutes to place our order when we were ready in 15 minutes. The drinks were only filled up ONE time. The steaks were over cooked, the flat breads were dry, and the waiter was not friendly. I was extremely disappointed especially since I made the reservation for our group for that special occasion. There is no reason for service to be so poor. It took forever to get our checks and forever for the waiter to collect them. The only time the waiter seemed even a little bit friendly was when she handed back our checks expecting a good tip. I hope and expect to hear back from a manager regarding this poor experience.
Really good food and great service truly amazing, it was a tad expensive
Very very noisy. Poor service. No menu check. No offer of dessert choices. Felt rushed to finish meal to open up table. Hostess very rude upon entering. We were 15 minutes early for reservation and she told us in a rude tone of voice to hibsur at the bar and wait. Not friendly at all.
Sherry the bartender was outstanding. The only positive to our experience. First time at Brio and last.
I shall go back and would recommend to friends. Service, drinks and most meals were excellent. I had an issue with my shrimp the meal had a very strong seafood smell so something wasn’t right. I include these comments only in a constructive way. Ive always enjoyed my outings at BRIO and am sure I will return.
For a group of 12, the staff and kitchen did a great job. Thank you.
So nice to be able to make a reservation and get right in. Service and waitress were good.
Great service, wonderful food, server was particularly helpful and kind. Nice evening
Wonderful service and great food.
A nice place to celebrate 40 years of friendship with girlfriends!!
Out server was outstanding. She was attentive and her service was perfect.
Easter Sunday we had the option of the full menu or the brunch menu. It was wonderful.
Felt rushed. Our meal came out before halfway done with salad. In and out in about 1/2 hour.
Had a nice time! Food was excellent! I recently had a very severe case of pneumonia and now on oxygen so wondering why you don't have handicap parking?
We had a party of 13 including 4 children with 2 needing highchairs. All were accommodated quite nicely next to the doors leading outside and not tucked away in the back of the restaurant - which was nice. The wait staff were appropriately attentive and food arrived reletively correct. One of our party ordered the bolognese and we had a hard time differentiating that from the spaghetti sauce on other dishes. Also I was assured by the waiter that I could order the 'old' carbonara with bacon and get that but when it arrived there was no bacon and in fact the dish was kind of dry. Also I ordered caprese salad and it did not have a drop of olive oil on it. I was pretty disappointed.
Same story every time.....a wonderful dining experience!
This visit was much improved over our last visit, due to changes (for the better) in the menu by bringing back favorites and decreases in pricing. It was prom night, so very busy, very loud. The wedge salad and mahgerita flat bread tasted awesome and were received in a timely manner. The main entree was slow in delivery and the gorgonzola encrusted medallions were overdone. The crushed potatoes were still raw. The manager, Keven, was awesome and offered to comp a meal, but we just want thia restaurant to succeed.
Food was good as always. Service was lacking though. Only saw the waitress when she dropped of food and drinks. She did not really check on us and then took a long time to bring the check. We were sitting outside and my guess was she had tables inside and probably shouldn’t have been taking care of outside guests as well.
The drinks were delicious and the service was great. The food was bland and disappointing. I actually didn’t eat my entree and my server didn’t notice or ask which was unfortunate
My food came to me cold and the prices were high. I do not see myself coming back.
Great service and relaxed setting where we could eat visit and it be rushed
We enjoyed the experience overall. The kids menu was great and the youngest member of the family LOVED her"sketti" Your menu offered food choices for every taste and diet preference. The staff was not impolite, but seemed a little overwhelmed, and there was quite a gap in time between the arrival of the kids food and the adults'. We appreciate your effort to hide our birthday cake and provide plates and utensils for that. We will definitely plan more family gatherings at BRIO!
