BRIO Tuscan Grille - Beaver Creek - The Green
We had a very pleasant experience overall. We went early - 5:30 reservation - which we enjoy because of less noise and faster service. The food, as always, was excellent - fresh and flavorful. Presentation is somewhat middle-of -the -road - but that's OK with us if the food is great, which it is.... We've had the same server the last three times there and I'm embarrassed to not remember his name - tall, slender, handsome, very polite and knowledgable, and very professional. We've traveled all over the world and dined at top starred restaurants - this man would do well anywhere! Should also mention that cocktails are well mixed and wine porings are very generous! We'll definitely go back!
Good food and service. Glad that they have brought back some favorites - when they changed owners, they changed the menu. Roasted red pepper bruchetta was awesome, so glad that was on the menu again!
Although the steak came out well done instead of rare, I give the restaurant five stars. The manager, Kevin, came out and apologized profusely. He gave everyone at the table free desserts. Our server was top notch as well. It was especially nice to sit out in the patio on a beautiful summer night and listen to live music.
Our server was rude she threw our straws on the table and walked away ...same thing when she brought the bread bowl out she tossed it on the table. Im not exaggerating she did not place either item gently on the table. She did not come back to check on us at all. Another girl brought us our food and asked if we needed anything else she was at least pleasant. I have not been to Brio since the early 2000s and this is why, the same thing happened then in a large group I was with of 12 adults then. This time it was just my sister and I for a belated birthday dinner. My food was good but for the prices you pay. I would expect way better service. I could’ve gotten better service at the Olive Garden for less money!! I will not be going to Brio ever again ..I gave them a second chance and they failed miserably
Making reservations on line was a breeze - received a reminder (excellent) and table was ready for our party of six. Perfect
We love BRIO! Surprised that they took the PORK CHOP (best anywhere) off the menu. But chicken Marsalis was delicious!
Food was rushed we were still eating salads when main arrived as as a consequence by the time we finished salads the food was cold.
I have finally hit the point that I am no longer willing to accept the chef’s not understanding my request for my dressing on the side. I constantly have to send my salad back to be redone because it is loaded with dressing. During our business lunch yesterday, I just ate my Mediterranean salad because I didn’t want to delay my client’s lunch. I have decided not to take clients there anymore. The salmon was good but the salad smothered in dressing was NOT what I ordered.
Our server was delightful. She went out of her way to check on us throughout our meal.
Atmosphere is great. The food is great but our service was poor. There was one server that wad nice but our waitress was rude and delayed
I love brio. Love to sit outside on the patio. My girlfriends and I meet here for lunch quite often. When there is an evening band your patio is the perfect place to be!
We had a nice time with our group of 7 but service was lacking and food was just okay. It wasn’t very busy so the mediocre service should have been better. We all eventually got what we ordered but the guy who brought our food was obviously new. He really couldn’t read the ticket and then he left the children’s food sitting on the tray as he went to check on the salmon that was forgotten from my husband’s salad. We weren’t charged for the salmon which was nice. Ice tea was refilled but without ice. Nothing was said about our granddaughter’s birthday even tho it was on the reservation. Salads were mixed up. That was an easy fix. No real problems but things were messy. Better training would have solved the issues. My husband and I both had salads so it was hard to judge the food quality. We have eaten her many times over the years and this was the most lacking
Our family went for birthday dinner; server rushed taking our order then we waited forever to get it. Food was overly salted, steaks were either over or undercooked (one was fatty and grissly). Part of the group almost had to leave w/o getting their food, but it came at the last minute and they had to jump up to leave right away and missed out on the birthday cake. The manager was very nice and accommodating, he comped 3 entrees. Waitress did her best, and she was very sweet, but she seemed to have been assigned too many tables. The restaurant was not completely full yet seemed understaffed. Really, most of the problem seemed to stem from the kitchen.
Disappointing meal. Very slow service. Only saw server for order, cocktails, and bill. Had to track down servers for service. In the past we have loved the food and service at Brio (and Bravo), having frequently dined there. I can only trust this was a rare, off night.
Food of above average quality, service was good, however the restaurant is definitely NOT a place for an intimate evening. At times the noise level was so high I could not even hear my dining companions although they were speaking loudly to try and be heard. Part of the problem is that the restaurant has absolutely no sound absorbing surfaces anywhere, no drapes or acoustic tiles, and tables are close together, so the decibel level is excessive. This is one of the few restaurants where it is actually quieter to have a meal at the bar than in the dining room, which is saying something!
Great place to grab a good supper on the spur of the moment.
We had a reservation at 5:15. I told them at 5:05 we were there. There were maybe people at 6 tables and it appeared they were lost. It took them 15 minutes to seat us. Three people had to go "get the table ready". It was very confusing. There were only 5 of us.
It was my birthday. The food was great, our waiter was outstanding, and the restaurant was very clean. The restaurant was very noisy!
Everyone liked their food. Portions were large. Noise level was high, so our waitress spoke loud enough for all 6 of us seniors.
Waitress was attentive and food was great! We will definitely be back!
We met as a family for the first time in nearly one year. Time to catch up, have laughs and enjoy each other’s company. Service was great and our server took care of us. All enjoyed the food and desserts.
Waited a very long time for food, had several mess ups, waiter did not seem knowledgeable of menu items. Food was delicious though
Our waiter Gene was excellent. He made the start of a bad situation a lot better. It’s started with my sister getting to the hostess stand first....she was there 4 minutes before I walked in and no acknowledgement by the hostess or the manager who also was at the hostess stand. Once I walked in I was acknowledged. We were then informed that reservations for the patio are first come first serve, something not outlined on open table. We decided to wait for patio seating. We became very frustrated because there were empty tables, 2 or 3 at a time and it was taking 10+ minutes to seat the table. Also there were empty tables that took 10+ minutes to bus. We were informed they do 3 pages, 5 minute interval before bypassing the wait listed party. This seems excessive if the patio is such a hot commodity for seating. Once we were seated, about 50 minutes, Gene came right over and was very sociable and attentive. He provides great service. At the end of the meal we called the
Manager over to express how pleased we were with Gene and discuss some of our
Prior frustrations. He gave excuses for the problems which is totally unacceptable for a service industry and didn’t acknowledge that there was any validity to our complaints.
I enjoy BRIO but would very much appreciate if they changed up their menu more often. Feels like same ol', same ol'. Service was excellent and I loe that I can make a reservation, especially when out to celebrate a special event.
My favorite outdoor dining in all of Dayton. Great food and service.
For appetizers/flatbread and drinks only. The main courses are overpriced and mediocre, especially if you get anything besides a pasta dish. Outdoor patio is very nice.
Great day great atmosphere great food great service
Food was good. Drinks were good. It was Mother’s Day. Place was packed. Service was absolutely awful. 15 min to take order, 30 min for salads , 15 min for a glass of wine. I don’t think it was all the servers fault as much as the kitchen . Mother’s Day is one of the most busiest dinner evenings of the year. The management should have had extra servers, extra cooks . They were very understaffed. This location has never been really timely with the food but this was crazy and we almost walked out.
Arrived early for reservation. Seated at bar for a drink while waiting. Seated on time for reservation.
Ordered, the special lobster tail with the entree. Unfortunately, the kitchen burned the shell causing charred shell to mix with the lobster meat. I had to ask for drawn butter. Mentioned and showed the burned tail to the waiter and he had bill adjusted.
Overall, food was average in quality and taste.
The waiter was superb. The food was excellent highly recommend the lobster ravioli appetizer. We both had the two different salmon dishes and they were wonderful.
We did not have to wait for a table since we made our reservation through open table and the food was excellent!
Mother’s Day dinner
We went on Mother’s Day which we would typically expect to have a wait. We were seated early, meal was prompt, hot and the service great. Very enjoyable and relaxing!!!
Food and service was good. Only issue we had was a hostess calling us 10 minutes after our reservation time asking “where are you guys at” when half of our part had already been seated. Felt the tone and the way she asked was rude.
It was Mother's Day. They were clearly slammed. So, service was very slow and a little inattentive. But still, we had a good time and a good meal.
Everything went well especially since it was Mother’s Day besides graduation
I was disappointed in the choices and staff. Meal size seemed small for the price.
