Though the dining experience was very good, when I arrived at Bio, they had NO RECORD of my reservation through Open Table. Fortunately, there were not too busy to seat my party of 3, but I would have been disappointed if we'd had to go elsewhere at the last minute. Check your system to determine what happened.
It's really a shame that this restaurant is closing...
I hope the replacement for it at the Perimeter is a good one!
I have been to this resteraurant a half dozen times. If this last visit were my first visit I surely would not return. Food was great but table service was pretty bad. Resteraurant was only half full, maybe. So you can't blame busyness. Good food. Terrible service. Your call if this is what you are ok with.
My Co-workers and I had a great time at Brio yesterday. The food was delicious! Great atmosphere and our waiter was fantastic! Thank you Brio!
This was one of the worst dining-out experiences we have ever had. When we got at Brio we had to wait for a table to be cleaned up. Appetizer was served without appetizer plates, soup was served without a spoon, and we didn't get table bread until we asked for it. The worst part was how late our food came. We waited for an hour and a half and after repeatedly asking the server whether our food would be ready soon, dinner finally came out at 9pm. We had gotten there for a 7:30pm reservation. Having a 3-year old with us made the long wait extra challenging.
We have been going to Brio for years but it will be a while before we go back if we ever do. Very disappointing experience- I was relieved that we were not there to celebrate a special occasion...
We were seated quickly. We shared the calamari as an appetizer, beef medallions and lamb chops for an entree and strawberry shortcake as dessert. Everything was incredible! Hate to see this place close!!
The Short Ribs are excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Great place for a relaxing dinner.
Lobster bisque great. Salmon dry. Crackers good. Server unsure of herself. Fountain is lovely. Decor is dull compared with Buckhead location.
Place was very out dated and dirty . Food was fine but the dishes were cracked and chipped.
Thank you all sooo much for ensuring my party's experience was a great one! I can't wait to come back! -Deshaun Safford
The food sat under the heat lamp for 20 min before it was served.
Took 40 minutes for entrees after we received salads. Food was just ok.
The server did a good job keeping up with our large table. The calamari was greasy and a disappointment. The lobster bisque was excellent. $20 for a 9-ounce pour of wine was ridiculous (way overpriced as a bottle of the same wine sells for $12). I remember the food being better in the past. The restaurant ambiance is nice ...very Tuscan.
Good overall experience. I did notice prices seemed to have gone up.
Good food, fair prices. Sat at the bar, Brian the bartender was great.
Great Happy hour menu 3-6. Great prices on bar menu during this time.
Very pleased! It was my first time there and I was glad we chose it.
The entire party enjoyed their meal. Will definitely be visiting again.
I had lunch, but the food wasn't what I expected. The sizes of dish seems small comparing to other Italian Restaurants. It was very noisy inside with people talking . Music wasn't Italian neither classic. Nobody had offered us to sit outside by lake.
Hostess desk was unmanned when we first arrived. When hostess gave menus to another person, neither said anything to us so we naturally started to follow but then the hostess said the table wasn't quite ready so we all had to move back to where we had been waiting.
The food was as good as ever which is why Brio was chosen for lunch. They had new items coming onto the menu which were being served to some. The servers had no clue and the dish was what we wanted. One of us did not like the mediterraneon salad served with Romano chicken, so she ordered pasta. I ordered as described and got the regular salad with Romano chicken that I have had many times before. It has never been on the menu but is delicious. I just wanted the Med version this time and my friend was not even offered the regular salad version. I believe it was not an issue but was very disappointing to both of us.
We arrived for a quick lunch and it took more than 40 minutes for our lunch to come out. Several of our party had to leave prior to lunch's arrival. I would not do Brio again for lunch.
My entree was disappointing -it looked better than it tasted
Our go-to place for social times with other couples. Always satisfied with the taste and the portions with stellar service. I only wish they could do something about the calories.
The food came to our table really hot! That is not often the case in most restaurants. And it was great - very tasty!
Our waiter was very attentive and personable. Our food was excellent. The menu offers a great variety. Only drawback is how noisy the dining room is
I had my 30th birthday dinner here and this place was great for accommodating a large group. The food and drinks were great!
Although a chain restaurant, this particular Brio is run and operated like a family restaurant. Food, service and staff are always great.
We used to love Brio, however they have changed their menu considerably. It's now just average Italian food. Not great. Service was really good. But we all would have preferred the old dishes they had. Unfortunately, one of our favorite restaurants is now one we won't frequent much anymore.
Apps are good however we haven't really enjoyed any entress. Good place for drinks and apps.
My friend and I had a nice dinner at Brio Perimeter early on a Friday night. It was fairly quiet when we got there. Ironically we both ordered the same entree although we had different drinks. The food was very good and drinks were also good. She had a mixed drink and I had wine. The staff was very friendly. I'll definitely go back.
Presentation of food was well done. Cod was tasty. Would order again. Friend had salmon. Would order again. Complimented chef and sous chef. Slow service due to large groups however , waiter was very attentive. Thank you.
Great food and service! The black bean soup is terrific!
The best Thank you
skip olive garden and go to Brio. American Italian done right served along with some ambiance. Save room for dessert.
We turned out to be eight instead of nine, and ate a big range of food, from Benedict to Chicken Milanese, with many small plates in between. The bread basket here is fantastic, and they are not chintzy about bringing more as needed. I had had some delicious charred Brussel Sprouts here on my last visit. They weren't on the menu, but I asked about it (afraid they were gone for the season), and the waitress said, "Don't worry!" - and in a few minutes, they appeared! Now that's customer service! Everything was delicious, and the service was remarkable. Not busy in the restaurant, so no pressure to move our group out - we got there at 11:30 and it was 2:15 when we finally did leave! Highly recommended.
Sometimes, Brio is very good. Sometimes, Brio isn't very good. Sometimes, Brio is ???
Brio , this past time was the latter. I ordered a filet, was cooked almost to order, though came out dry. My wife ordered salmon. good. but nothing to write home about.
Its really a trade off going to Brio. Depending on who is running the kitchen, depends on who is working. Some cooks know their handiwork and some cooks are just there.
Brio back in olden days, used to be a damn good restaurant. But over the years, changes in management, cooks, asst. mgrs., servers, etc, this place has gone down hill.
Don't get me wrong, food isn't the problem.
Filet was dry by not having any au jour . Calliflower was very spiced and also very dry. Brio used to have veal sautéed in lemon butter with wine, capers, and garlic. Now there is this batter fried veal cutlet which came out of a bag or box and deposited into the deep fryer basket along with the French fries which sometimes makes everything taste greasy..... yuk !!!
Some restaurant like to alternate their menu, but when they have a delicious items on the menu, and the customers love it, then why in the he'll change it? That's because Corporate has no idea of what is going on.
With all of the good restaurants in Atlanta area, the choice is simple. Go back to the place who serves very good food or go somewhere else.
We have not been in a while. The food was good but the service considering they were not crowded was very disappointing. Not sure when we will be back
Excellent choice for Father's Day! We went at 4:00 pm which seemed to be the perfect time. Service and good excellent! My husband and I ordered the double cut lamb chops. The were cooked just the way we liked them. We have paid more at other restaurants but they were not nearly as flavorful. Can't wait to go back!
