BRIO Tuscan Grille - Annapolis - Annapolis Town Center
Although I haven't been here for dinner, Brio is a great spot for lunch. I'm sure it would be a nice choice for dinner, too. It is conveniently located and the food is quite good and reasonably priced. There is chatter, but it is not a noisy restaurant. I also like the layout of the tables. You don't feel like you are sitting on top of the next table hearing each other's conversations. Our server was suitably attentive and pleasant.
Always good food and a great atmosphere. This time, service was very slow. Not the usual case. Dinner portions are a good size.
Service was very poor. Extraordinary long service for every aspect of the meal, appetizers, entrees, drinks. Others were being served that came after we were seated. We spoke to the manager and she accommodated us by reducing the bill. We are grateful for that but the overall experience is very disappointing. The was good however.
We love the bread and the house wine was pleasing. The beef tenderlion with gorgonzola was delicious.
The shrimp capri was fresh and favorful .
The food and service were fine, but the restaurant was very cold. I had to wear my jacket, as did another member of my party.
Has been quite a few years since going to Brio and it seems to have become more casual. Food was okay but nothing special. Service slow. Fine for family dining but would prefer more upscale for date night or special occasions
BRIO was busy, very busy but that is no excuse for the Hostess seating tables w/o reservations before tables with a reservation. The service was abysmal. Ordered a bottle of wine and it took 20 minutes for it to be brought to the table. Then, the server couldn't open it (I had to). Ridiculous. The food, however, was outstanding and a good value for the price.
Just a wonderful lunch....great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere....all at a reasonable price. We had an extremely enjoyable hour and a half business lunch. Would come back in a heartbeat to try another outstanding menu item.
A disappointing dining experience which did not match up to previous visits because;
1: One person's meal was served at least 10 minutes after the other diner's
2: This meal was missing the chicken and spinach.
3: The server offered to bring bread, then forgot to bring it.
4: The salmon entree was a tiny helping of salmon over a minuscule helping of vegetables-not worth $24 & I have a small appetite!
5: The coffee was barely warm and weak but this was replaced by a new cup which was hot but still weak.
6: The tiramisu was semi frozen.
7: A large party with an intermittently screaming child was sitting close by, so that I had to cover my ears.
Although the charge for one entree was waived, our evening was far from an ideal experience.
The server was lazy and carefree.
It's unfortunate when a very tasteful meal gets shortchanged by less than excellent service. I should not have to go fetch my own water and soda refills, but that was apparently the case as our server did not come back to our table after bringing the food (which took nearly 45 minutes). He didn't even come back to check if everything was OK with the entrees.
We made a last minute reservation for a large group, and were not disappointed. The staff was gracious, the service was great and everyone had a wonderful time. The food was good and plentiful and the menu has a lot of variety. All in all an excellent evening.
The service goes down every year at Brio Annapolis. The staff is either not trained well or just does not care. Manager is not paying attention. Looking around the place at 7:45 on a Saturday night and half the tables are empty. That tells you a lot.
My flatbread was cold, delicious. Restaurant was very quiet. Food came quickly.
the food was great! Took a long time to bring the wine. Overall a good value.
Pasta dishes were very dry. I had spaghetti bolognese and my sister had pasta in a cream sauce. Both were dry
We LOVED our waiter, I wish I could remember his name, but we have had him twice in the last month, wonderful service!
Food - It was a Sunday evening - maybe 3 other tables full, very quiet as it is August and lots of people on vacations right now. Three of us all order the Shrimp Capri ( I think it was called ) - shrimp was entirely overdone and even cold. Very disappointing as the last time we were there everything was done quite nicely. We had party of 10- maybe that was the issue, but honestly the shrimp dishes should have come out last - a novice error if you ask me.
Great place for a large group overall, as they are normally quite good at handling such a crowd.
I was disappointed at the taste of the food. It was very salty.
A bit long waiting for server at times. Entree Mediterranean Salad was outstanding.
My favorite College Park restaurant
The menu at Brio offers many choices, and everything we’ve ever ordered has been well prepared. We particularly enjoyed a carpaccio appetizer — the presentation was lovely and the beef was tender and delicious. The server was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant is a reliable choice for dining.
Salmon Fresco is not as good as it used to be. Big disappointment.
Adorable place, great atmosphere. Food was brought out very timely. Portions were good size. Our waiter was very attentive, almost too attentive lol. This was our first time there for date night. Would definitely come back!
Always a dependable delight!
A small note: Why did BRIO remove its outstanding PORK CHOPS from the menu ???
Had reservation for 7 pm and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived. The food was late coming out and we were not updated about the status or offered more drinks or water or bread. The quality of the food for the price was not good and my potatoes were undercooked which I informed my waiter. The alcohol drink was good but overall taste and quality of food and dessert for price was not. Disappointed by how this once favorite restaurant has dexlined.
The spicy shrimp eggplant was not good at all, way too spicy. And the shrimp n lobster was just warn and the shrimp was over cooked..
Our server was most accommodating with regard to my milk allergy and recommended entrees that were acceptable. Service was prompt and gracious and the ambiance was first-class. A most enjoyable dinning experience.
Lovely place. Great food and great service!
BRIO is consistently excellent. The staff are professional and pleasant. Brio will continue to be my number 1 for Italian cuisine.
Celebrating our 2nd month wedding anniversary. It was very hot outside and we wanted to dine in somewhere in the A/C but it was unusually humid and hot in the restaurant.
We eat here every other weekend. Great staff and good food Location is very convenient to concerts on Friday and shopping
I usually have good service when I come here but on this particular night, it was pretty bad. I was there with coworkers for a monthly get together and our server seemed like he didn't want to be there and was downright rude! Every time that he came over to our table, we were looking at each other amazed (and annoyed) by his demeanor.
Dishes never seem to be prepared the same way from visit to visit. Service this time was spotty.
Birthday brunch for my Nana. Danielle was incredible and food was outstanding as usual. Such a nice quiet spot to enjoy a nice family celebration. Four generations and a great time was had by all!
There's not much to not like about this little reliable gem nestled in the heart of Annapolis Towne Center. Great wine list, attentive staff and a strong simple menu makes it a good place to sit and enjoy the company of others. Comfortable, chic yet unpretentious, Brio is like running into an old friend.
The menu changed since the last time I was there so there were less choices. I ordered the fish of the day which was very good. We also ordered the shrimp scampi crostini which was a delicious special. The bistec was on the fatty side for those that ordered it. Overall it was a very good meal.
Calamari was good. Spaghetti Bolognese was ok..nothing horrible nothing great. Server was nice.
Very few people in restaurant so quiet but service was only fair. Food was good but basic.
Our service was horrific. Spoke with the manager but nothing was done and service remained horrible.
It took forever to get our food and orders and checks were wrong. Server never smiled and honestly did not seem to care that we spoke with the manager.
I will NEVER go back.
Beautiful Restaurant and a huge waste. Food came out cold and late. Front of the unapologetic about their lack of service or that our food was cold. My family and I received our sides late and we had finished our main courses. Overall, very disappointing.
