Nice people but absolutely not worth the money. The restaurant is understaffed, and the waiters seem under-trained, disappearing for long stretches at a time. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. My wine came over half hour after ordering. The food took over an hour to come out. Having a reservation didn’t seem to help the wait. Would not recommend.
Our family had a great time at Brio on Mother's day weekend. The food was delicious and our waiter kicked butt taking care of our party of 11. The parking was awful, but what do you expect on Mother's day weekend. We will dine with you again!
We love BRIO. Challenge in this instance is that on a special occasion day like Mother’s Day the overall quality takes a dip in favor of efficiency. Don’t really blame BRIO on this. Just a reality of the situation.
Fourth Mothers Day we celebrated at BRIO and just as wonderful each time!!! Food is awesome... had the shrimp and polenta and I highly recommend!!! Thank you for a great time!
Was seated promptly and glad I had made reservations. Being Mothers Day, the noise level was probably more than normal but still difficult to carry on a conversation (especially with a 89 year old Mom). Overall, great day, no complaints and had a wonderful mothers day. Thanks Brio.
Enjoyed Mother's Day Brunch here. Food was great! Service was great.
We were seated next to the kitchen and a lot of traffic and noise... The service was okay slow on bread refill and delivering check An issue that is unprovable-The fraud division of of my Credit Card company called Monday AM asking if I tried several times to log in which I did not Someone did and to date the tip has not shown on the pending bill..The food on the brunch menu is ideal and price ok
After an awful experience in Dec 2018, we were contacted by MGMT and sent a $50 gift certificate to come back. We opted to use it on Mother's Day for brunch. I am very happy to say everything was excellent! We were seated promptly upon arrival at 10:45am , our drink orders were taken, and drinks were continuously refilled. I recommend the Shrimp & Pollenta, which came with a perfectly poached egg. The Sicilian Omelette was excellent, and our daughter loved the "special" menu item, the Fritatta. The one thing we were surprised about was that the Tomato Caprese appetizer no longer comes with the balsamic glaze. We had to ask for the balsamic and do it ourselves. Our waitress said it was odd that they changed how they prepare it, and many customers ask for the balsamic after it arrives with only olive oil drizzled. Other than that, we had a fantastic Mother's Day brunch!
Food was fantastic! But they didn’t seat us until 27 minutes after our reservation time. The hostesses were clearly out of sorts and kept telling us our table was being “prepped” for over 15 minutes. Very disappointing, as we have been fans of BRIO since it came to Allen.
Brio has reliably good food and they have one of the best patios in DFW. We eat there fairly frequently and have gone there for special occasions many times. Sadly, Saturday night was uncharacteristically bad. Service was slow. We had at least 5-6 people "pitching in" to take care of us including the managers. One manager provided a gluten-free menu which we appreciated, but when the dish my wife ordered came, it didn't look much like what was described on the menu. Another manager said that we had been given an old menu and the item was different now. The item was a corkscrew pasta with pesto sauce (and not much of that). It was the most basic, boring presentation I've ever seen. No chicken or other ingredients as mentioned on the menu. To their credit, they didn't charge us for it, but it wasn't the experience we expected or had become accustomed to at Brio. I'm sure we'll be back to try again and hope this was just an aberration.
Wonderful Tuscan style food and good variety. Best is Shrimp Eggplant starter which could be a meal in
Chicken Marsala very tasty. Portions are large and to go box required.
We had a wonderful meal at Brio. The only drawback was that our waitress rarely came to the table and was forgetful. Perhaps thus was due to inexperience. This would not keep me from returning to Brio. I'd definitely go back!
Was at new Delta hotel and went to a business dinner at BRIO. Was ok but nothing special.
We loved the crab cake! And our entrees were delicious. We didn't leave any evidence! Our server was fun and engaging. We will be back!
Jeremy was Outstanding. We sat on the patio it was a beautiful night. Thank you for the great service and the fantastic food.
I enjoy going to Brios very much. The service is very good and the food is always very good. We especially enjoy sitting on the patio in the evening .
Brio never disappoints! The menu has something for everyone & the food tastes AMAZING! I've never had a bad server & the location is GREAT!
We always love Brio's and especially their patio! Our server was very accommodating and friendly...we were there for Easter Sunday Brunch. The brunch options were outstanding and delicious. We'll go back for sure!
It was okay. Not the top dollar experience you’d expect when comparing it to other “fine dining” establishments. Just okay.
Food was delicious. Service was great. We had a great visit.
Great evening with friends!
We went with our kids and were able to sit outside on the patio. It's very nice on the patio, with a nice view of the pond. Our service was delayed at first. It didn't seem like the staff knew who had our table. Once that was sorted we had a great experience. The food was very good as it always is. We haven't had a bad dish there yet.
Food is good. Service was awkward. The waiter we had, Jake will be just fine but it seemed like they sent him out on his own way too soon and gave him tables in different hemispheres. He didn’t know how to serve or bus our long booth surrounded by other booths w/3 on one side, 2 on the other...and I wouldn’t have known how either. It’s a difficult table to serve. But handing hot plates to children won’t be the way to do it. Wasn’t his fault. There were plenty of staff and servers around that should have been shadowing him on a busy Friday night. Food came out super slowly. I felt like new waiter was getting a freshman hazing
Service was excellent! Food was devine. We sat on the patio and it was just lovely. Can't wait to go back.
The food was hot and delicious. Outstanding flavors. The server was efficient and friendly; smiled and made great eye contact throughout our interactions with her.
Had a great time and everyone loved their meal!
Everything was great, but the highlight of the evening was the outstanding service by our waiter, James M.
Shoved in back room. Waited in at least 15-20 increments for our waiter to stop by. Not attentive, and the brick chicken was pretty much a brick.
We were pretty severely disappointed by our visit, and will likely go elsewhere for our Italian cuisine.
Seems that the new ownership turned things for worse for the restaurant
I made a reservation for my boss and out of town VP's and they absolutely loved the food!
The server didn’t remember my order so I got shrimp instead of chicken. No big deal as I love shrimp. He was new and was very willing to take it back and make it right. The food is great.
It’s great! Nice place and good food! My fav pasta ala vodka. Wedge salad.. awesome
The food was over priced for what it was
Great food and service, noise not so good. Parking can be a problem sometime.
The food was great although I miss the flat bread they used to have. Our server was very good and even though we had a large group, the food came out promptly. Overall we were satisfied.
The food was great but took a really long time (49 minutes for a cold salad and an omelet) and the restaurant was not that busy. Delicious when it arrived but we hadn’t planned on being there 90 minutes for a lunch!
I always went for the steak bruschetta and they discontinued it I went in for my birthday and I go there every year but I also had a $10 off two entree coupon and they only applied one $10 discount using my birthday coupon when I went on a date. The service was kind of lousy and the food was overpriced $25 a plate in very small portions. My waiter didn't even fill up my water until the end of my visit after my plate had been taken. My say I'm very disappointed because I always loved Brio before
Our waitress, Danielle, was outstanding. My wife ordered a rum & diet coke when she explained they only carried Pepsi products. However the bar found found some diet coke stashed at the bar for cocktail mix. it is a shame that this restaurant can't serve both products. The Menu was well diversified with many choices. Our food was excellent and portion sizes were large but not overly so. We will return soon.
Great food and service. Waitress Wednesday very nice.
We were celebrating a special occasion. It was a Saturday night and it was VERY Noisy. Sometimes we had a hard time communicating with the server because he couldn't hear us or we couldn't hear him. The food was very tasty. We asked for Limoncello - but they said they were out. One of the managers did comp us a lemon drop martini. That was a nice touch. Sometimes it isn't the problem that causes an issue - it is the way it was handled. In this case he handled it very well. We will go back - only on a less busy night.
