Always good food and good service. Brio's is also doing a good job of social distasting the guests. It is one restaurant that I frequent knowing I will have a good overall outcome.

The lasagna MELTS in your mouth! Sketchbook Cabernet is very delightful. Great service. Small wait, but were able to grab a drink at the bar. Can't wait to go back.

We had 6:30 reservations. We arrived early and were sat at 6:25. Our server did not great us until 6:45. He dropped off bread and butter but we had no silverware, took our drink order and left. He returned approximately 20 minutes later with our drinks. A person at our table order a Ginger beer and he literally brought the can with no glass. She requested a glass, we asked for silver ware, and a couple of straws. We also ordered an appetizer at this time. After another 20 minutes of him not returning. We got up and retrieved our own silverware, straws, and glass. He came back approximately 30 minutes from taking the appetizer order to inform us they were out of the appetizer that we had ordered and asked if we wanted something else. At this point we have been seated for 1 hour and have not received anything to eat. We declined and ordered our meals. The food came out in about 15 minutes due to someone else bringing it out. We did not see our server again until we had completed our meal. He never came to see if we needed anything and if our meal was ok. He simply came to ask if we wanted separate checks. We told him yes and he left and returned about 10 minutes later with the checks. He never once seemed concerned about his lack of attentiveness nor did he apologized for his incredibly substandard service. This restaurant used to be one of my favorites with great service, but I feel as if the standards have been lowered and as a result I’m not sure if I will be returning any time soon.

Very disappointed that it was 11 am on Sunday and there were no brunch items on menu. Guess it's a byproduct of COVID.

Not much sun cover. Very hot. Sorry I hadn't brought sunglasses.

Nice outdoor area.

Went for lunch. Loved every second of it! Our server was super busy but he managed to meet our needs with a smile.
IMPORTANT: Please know that if you make a res on open table, even if you request a table outside, there is no guarantee, so we did have to wait 30mins past our reservation time to eat outdoors. Worth the wait!

I made a response here for 2 people for outside. When I arrived, the hostess was very rude and said “we have told Open table a bunch of times that we do not reserve outside tables”
I asked how long for a outdoor table, we only wish to eat inside.
She would not give me a time estimate at all. All she would say is that there were 3 people ahead of me. We said that was fine and waited outside. W
We came in 30 min later and asked how many more were now in front of us. She said “4!” We couldn’t believe it. I said “you told us 3 when first checked in” she said “it’s right here you are 4th”

We waited then when we finally got a table the service was horrible. Wrong drinks brought. Wrong food brought. Had to flag server down multiple time s to get a refill on a drink.

We were not even done with our meal and they slapped the check on the table.


I use to frequently go to this restaurant. It is really sad what has happened to it over the last year.

Service is very poor. The people working there are not nice and they do not try to accommodate guest.

Sadly, we will not return

In the notes I requested patio, I got there and they did not honor our reservation. They put our name on the list just as any walk in, they said the wait would be 20-30 minutes. After 1 and 1/2 hours we just left.

Even under COVID, the wait for food and drinks where slow. On a Tuesday, they ran out of mashed potatoes, which should have been brought to our attention prior to ordering not after the food was delivered. We have been there before, which was much better service and food.

Family dinner on a Sunday evening. In general the food and service was marginal. Really disappointing and the group agreed they wouldn't go back again. I know covid makes everything harder, but the staff had no pleasantness about them. Even though there were 5 of us and most of the restaurant was open, we were put at a 4 top with a chair on the end on a busy aisle leading to the bathroom and kitchen. I didn't want to complain, but this is how the whole meal went. It's a pretty place but the life is gone.

Very safe with social distancing and PPE. Service was fabulous. The boys loved the tenderloin tips. I enjoyed the chicken marsala. Desert was the best - we had one of everything!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at Brio Italian Grille. The shrimp and eggplant appetizer was generous in size and delicious. The entree salads were fantastic, and the desserts were wonderful. The service was outstanding and the place has a very nice atmosphere.

I’m not sure why the waitstaff thinks they are doing us a favor by coming in ?? We are trying to support THEM by dining out when we have a choice but we know this is there income . St Louis BRIO staff on Thursday night wasn’t what I call friendly or accommodating. I asked for a glass of water and the waitress pointed to my husbands and said “ you gave on on the table “ I said yes that’s my husbands , I’d like one too . The mood of our waitress was she couldn’t be bothered !!! Manager was nice .

My husband tipped the waitress 20percent even though she didn’t deserve it .

I was telling someone else about this and they said their parents experienced the same thing .

Brio waitstaff - you’re lucky to have a job . If it’s too much to DO YOUR “ SERVICE” JOB then I’d find another way of making a living . BTW - my husband and I both waited tables so we know the job .

After ordering our food, it took 45 minutes to arrive, long wait. I ordered salmon and it came to me cold. We dined at Brio for my birthday and I was sadly disappointed.

I had made reservation for patio, but was initially informed that no patio seating was available. Service was slow. The food was just average. I ordered a salad and some of the lettuce was brownish. I would have sent it back, but we had already waited a bit to get our order. Lobster bisque had no lobster. I was pretty disappointed, to be honest.

I've been to this place several times, even had my baby shower here 9 years ago. We asked for a patio seating for 5 people and were given a standard round table good for 4 and they sqeezed in 1 more chair for the 5th person. I think this is not right as we were seated too close to each other, and the table too small for our food. One of my friends complained about her sangria being diluted and ordered a different drink. This annoyed our server and we can all see her frustration even under her mask. She took her drink, didn't say anything, no apology. I kept my sangria despite not liking it as I don't want to annoy our server further. She didn't give us bread to begin with, no one buzzing our table, dirty dishes on top of each other, which makes it hard to make room for our food on our already very small table. I asked her about their promo which is "free pasta to go with an order of 1 entree". Her answer was she doesn't think there's anymore pasta left but will check. She never updated us about it. The whole dining experience was akward but we tried not to let her affect us as we were celebrating my friend's bday. It was very obvious that she didn't like us. She rarely checked if everything is ok and it was hard to get her attention when we needed something. My friend who complained about her drink is African. I think the server reacted the way she did because of her color. Our group is a mix of different ethnicity. I still tipped her 15% despite a horrible service. This bad experience will make me think twice about going back to this place and will less likely to recommend.

They had a door open so it was cold. Took forever to get bread.reservation stated it was a birthday but no dessert given for the occasion or even mentioned. I was very disappointed in the whole evening.

The food was good and it was a nice experience. The logistics were messy. We arrived for our reservation outdoors (had sent a note to the restaurant to specify outdoors when we booked the reservation). We discovered they didn't accept reservations for outdoors although they had not informed us in advance. I later discovered that during the meal, Brio notified Open Table we had cancelled our reservation. It took two phone calls to straighten it out. The food was good that evening, but bar service was a bit slow.

We had the Salmon Fresca, it was very good. My husband was disappointed that at 5:00pm they were sold out of lasagna. Service was good and spacing of tables was good. Great promo of a pasta to take home. Pleasant dining experience.

Nicky our waitress was excellent. We ate on the patio. It was a bit loud due to the traffic at Lindbergh and Clayton, but the patio itself was nice. The food was very good.
